This is a small restaurant in the neighborhood. The look of the restaurant is very ordinary but the favor is great. I tried the beef fried fun. It is flavorful with tender and fresh beef. The portion is big. As a family-run business, the service is warm and quick.

been passing by this place for almost a year and decided it was time to go try it. It's your typical Chinese take out with the classic menu items. Today we ordered a beef chow fun spicy and an orange chicken entree with it. The spiciness of the beef chow fun was spicy and Smokey. It did need a bit more soy sauce to have a bit more saltiness. The orange chicken was lacking in crunch due to it probably being soggy from the closed container. Other than that, the sauce of the orange chicken is very light and I personally liked how it was not drenched in straight up sauce. If there was a party, I would definitely come back and order the party trays.

Chinese takeout that hits the spot! I usually order via doordash and the food comes deliciously hot which is a great. My favorite meal here is their combination #5 which comes with beef broccoli, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. The beef broccoli is scrumptious and the fried rice is well seasoned too. Their egg roll is alright. I tried their combination#3, sweet & sour pork, chicken chow mein, and an eggroll which was pretty good too.

Honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, chow mein and shrimp fried rice

I think we all underestimate these little restaurants but I can honestly say this is the most authentic mom and pops hold in the wall chinese food restaurant. The food is very flavorful. We will definitely be regulars here!

Love the calamari...too pricey though. They only accept cash. Charge $.75 for vinegar. Calamari stays crunchy overnight.

I like how the service here is very efficient and the atmosphere is very cozy. I got the take bowl and the ume bowl. The take one was a 9/10 and the ume was a 10/10 for me. I had ordered the Take bowl and yam fries, and both items were delicious. I came back again a few weeks ago and was disappointed by the changes that were made. I saw that they removed the yam fries and instead had fried burdock root. They also made changes to the minced seafood in the bowls, mixing in a lot of cucumbers and lotus root, which for me really took away from the seafood and overall taste. Service has always been attentive so just really hoping they consider bringing back yam fries as well as going back to the original style of the bowls!

I genuinely enjoy the food here, and it has always been one of my preferred places to dine…read more However, my experience during this visit was disappointing. My party of six (three adults and three children) was told the wait time would be approximately 30 minutes. We ultimately waited about 40 minutes, which I understood given how busy the restaurant appeared. The concern began when multiple parties--around six--were seated ahead of us despite arriving later. After patiently waiting outside to avoid blocking the entrance, I approached the host for an update. She informed me that our party was considered "very large" and would require a longer wait. A party of six is not unusually large, and it became clear that our group had simply been overlooked. What was most frustrating was the lack of acknowledgment or apology for the oversight. The host seemed dismissive of my concerns and avoided engaging with us until I initiated the conversation. Ultimately, we were separated and seated at different tables, which further diminished the experience. Despite the seating issues, our server was attentive and provided great service. My party spent roughly $300, not including the additional 20% tip we left. Given the amount we spent and the loyalty we've shown on previous visits, I would have appreciated at least a simple apology or some acknowledgment from the host regarding the situation. Unfortunately, that never happened, and even when I asked for the manager's information to share feedback, the request was not taken seriously and never contacted the manager. My previous visit was handled with much more care and professionalism, and I left feeling valued. Our server that time was Tyler (Manager) I believe his name was. I hope future experiences reflect that same level of service.

Can you easily make Bột Chiên at home?…read more Yes with store bought flour cakes. Does it come out bomb? Not if I'm making it! I found Bột Chiên on Yelp trending as a hot and new business. With French and Chinese influences, Bột Chiên is a Viet street food consisting of crispy flour cakes mixed with eggs and served with crack sauce (soy based). Sadly, it doesn't exist in the city (to my knowledge) and the closest thing is at Red Bowl in Daly City. It's alright but not nearly as good as the ones in E Man Jose. It was delicious with the savory, sweet, and tangy crack sauce and đồ chua (pickled carrot + daikon). To nitpick, I wish the flour cakes were hot (seemed like it was cooked ahead).
