    Banana cream matcha
    Katelynn V.

Coworker got me the banana cream matcha 16oz half sweet from Bobaholics. I give it a 6.5/10 because it's just alright. It's not the worst but not somewhere I'd come for the matcha. The matcha taste a bit watered down for my liking. However, half sweet was good. The banana cream is good itself .

What makes this place unique is the Viet coffee drinks. You can add an extra shot to really give your drink a kick. Great quality . However, I docked it one star because manager not really looking out for the employees and some skimping behaviors on the menu. Egg coffee 5/5 Sounds weird but it's actually pretty good. There's no real egg taste but it's very creamy topping and it works well with a strong coffee base. Salt coffee 5/5 Salt coffee is a creamy white top layer slightly salty as an interesting contrast to the sweet coffee. I normally add an extra shot and go for 75% sweetness. Interior 5/5 - Well designed , modern bright and comforting. Plenty of tables combined with individual chairs and bench seating. Labubus make it fun. Soundtrack 4/5: Energetic dance music pumping in the background.Good vibes. The bad 1/5 1. Tip goes to manager . You will get asked for a tip at the end of the kiosk order and I found out later from an employee that the tip goes directly to the manager and they don't receive it. Not cool. You're better off giving cash directly to the server if you want to tip. Update Nov 3, 2025. Asked a different clerk 2nd time ( 3mos later) at to see if the tip goes to the employees. The response was no. Only cash is best if you want to tip! Still kinda sus for the management! 2. No ice option = $0.50 Ever since Starbucks did this kind of sneaky trick by loading up your drink with ice people have been ordering drinks with no ice. This doesn't work at this location. You're going to get charged extra .

Raising my review to 4 stars! The owner reached out and invited me back to try their Iced Coffee drinks. I ordered the Iced Tiramisu coffee which was fantastic. Great customer service and the second coffee drink was a total win. My daughter and son also enjoyed their Buried Treasure drink. Thanks for making it right! Much appreciated Christie.

Came here to meet a friend in this area and we thought it'd be good to stop by for a drink. There atmosphere had a relatively classy vibe, with white tiles and a decent amount of seating, and it was unusually crowded. My friend said it normally wasn't like that so I'm unsure if there was some kind of special event, but we had to wait a little to even be able to use the kiosk despite there being two alongside the regular barista. I decided to get the Strawberry Dream Latte, which was around seven dollars. The drink was sweet, refreshing and creamy, which was good. Also No Ice was an extra charge (though I got less ice so this didn't really impact me) but milk alternatives had no extra cost. This is probably one of the few places that I've been to that allows milk alternatives to be free, so this is a nice bonus. Overall, Bobaholics has lovely drinks and a lovely atmosphere, and I wouldn't mind returning again.

Stopped by on a Friday evening for a post-dinner sweet treat! I ordered the egg coffee and I didn't have to wait too long for it to be ready. Staff was super nice and the drink was good! It was creamy, rich, and had great flavor.

I ordered at the kiosk Very easy to maneuver the menu The inside is very pretty and elegant looking ,the dinks came out after about five minutes, all the drinks were very delicious and rich in flavor but not overwhelming Great place to catch up with friends or have study sessions Would recommend! Small interaction with staff was also nice and welcoming so the service is pretty good as well

I came here to say to get a few drinks with my friends, after one of my other friends recommended the place to me! I ordered the Banana Cream Matcha and my friend ordered the Crème Brûlée Thai Tea. In my opinion, the Matcha was pretty watered down, and was really liquify, however the Banana Cream itself was really good. I got 75% sweetness which I thought was perfect, but then again the watery texture threw me off a little. I also tried my friends Thai Tea, and in my opinion it was really good. I recommend to get 75% sweetness or less though, since it's REALLY sweet. The service was really good, we ordered 3 drinks and it came out within a few minutes of ordering. Place is also really nice for studying too, and interior was very modern and pretty! Overall 4/5 experience! Wish my matcha wasn't so liquify but maybe it was just today, so I'll definitely give it another try.

When my kids and I walked up to this location the outside was pretty plain. But once we walked in I was blown away because it was so cute inside. There was so much greenery and cute nooks for some selfies or photo shoots. My kids enjoyed placing their order on the self serve touch screen. It made it easy since the menu was on the wall right in front of the screens. There were two ladies working behind the counter. They were both very friendly. They had a nice variety of snack options as well. We order some popcorn chicken and French fries.

Cute place with nice decor, no AC though despite it being quite hot today. Nonetheless they have a menu with nice variety and some unique drinks such as the Banana Split Milk Tea which is what I got. Tastes super good and I like the portion for the price. Also, huge plus is you can opt for an alternative dairy such as oat and almond for no extra charge! Quick service considering it was pretty empty on a Monday evening. Would recommend giving this place a try! They also have lots of snack options too.

I've seen this place on tiktok and was meaning to go and I happened to be in this complex! I have medium high standards for boba and I don't think a lot of milk teas wow me anymore but the taro here was SO GOOD. Went with a big group of friends we got: taro latte 5/5 - very sweet and has that thick taro texture, usually not a fan but very good . I would personally get it less sweet taro / ube coffee 5/5 - I think this was more balanced in terms of sweetness , I think this is tied w the taro latte cookies and cream milk tea 5/5 - again a solid drink! def on the sweeter side but it was good! would get maybe less sweet compassion tea 4/5 - refreshing!! just not a fruit tea person personally and this was the least sweet and a bit tangy but it was really good still banana split milk tea 3/5 - this is what I got lol, I got 50% sweetness it tasted like green tea and laffy taffy banana, came w chocolate and strawberry foam. In the first sip I didnt like it at all and then later as the chocolate came down it got a lot better.. still tasted like a lot of weird flavors together .. like a milk tea jamba juice.. idk I would get something else next time like the taro fried tofu 3.5/5 - got this spicy, with house sauce and sweet chili sauce. These two sauces tasted exactly the same idk what happened there. The tofu was well prepared but def needed salt This inside was also so cute ! big couches and really comfy chairs, well lit, well decorated and not too loud! it was spacious and a nice place to chill service was fine - mostly ordered in the kiosk Would def come back here if I was in the area

Great customer service! My kid had a swim lesson in 10 minutes, so I asked if they could make the drink quickly and the server was happy to help without hesitation. It was my first time ordering here, and I went with 100% sweetness, which turned out too sweet for us. Overall, it's a nice spot with friendly service. I like to support local businesses, and this one is definitely worth five stars!

This place is in downtown San Jose so it does not have its own parking lot but you will need to choose an infrastructure to park at. If you are trying to find this spot, it is next to goodtime bar and tucked away in a somewhat alley, rather than being front and center in street view. There is some seating inside and outdoors as well, so it's friendly to order your meal and hang out while drinking a beer in complement of the sandwich. I ordered the chicken tenders with level 3 heat, while my partner got a classic chicken sandwich. He thought that the classic chicken sandwich would give you an option of spice levels too but default it is just the sandwich itself. Their fries again to emphasize, are spectacular! I think it has something to do with their fun crescent moon shape. I typically do not like thicker steak fries, but man, these were tasty and seasoned amazingly. No ketchup needed. When it came to the chicken dishes, while the tenders were well coated with a good ratio between breading to chicken, I felt like outside of the crust, there wasn't any flavor with the chicken itself (was not salty and I wish it was juicy). They gave me some sauce to pair with it, but personally for me, a good chicken tender should standalone be equally delicious. My partner's sandwich was juicy but again I did wish they soaked the chicken or marinated it a bit more to incorporate more flavors. Overall, this spot was fine for me. I don't know if I would come back for the chicken but if I wanted a snack, I would love to get the fries again. :)

We are trying to find something to eat in the area and notice that this place took over the Krispy Krunchy Chicken. We decided to order from there just to see if the recipe might be the same. We really like that they have a kiosk that you can order from. Since it was late at night, there was no one else waiting to order so we took our time scrolling through the menu. We ended up ordering 2 two-piece meals which came with biscuits as well. The photos of the biscuits looked really good since they were drizzled with honey, so I ordered a few extras. We also decided to try their barbecue sauce and honey mustard sauce. There was only one employee working, but he was very quick and very nice! The chicken is already made and sitting under a warmer, so it just needed to be packed. Surprisingly when we got home, the chicken was still very crunchy! The chicken was also pretty juicy and not dry inside. The biscuits with honey was delicious! I'm glad I ordered more on the sign. They're barbecue sauce is just okay, but their honey mustard is really, really good! I feel like a lot of fast food honey mustard sauces are not that good, but the one's here is probably my favorite! I would definitely consider coming back to get more chicken and maybe even stock up on some honey mustard!

The reason why I came over here fairly recently was because I visited cousins and cousin in law that live near to give them Valkyries shirts and other shirts they'll send to the Philippines in over a month, and since they plan to be sending clothes over while telling me about the place, I gave them my Kate Martin and Kaitlyn Chen jerseys for the trouble as I needed to make room for my Veronica Burton jersey, which I wore when I met up with them, and my upcoming violet Gabby Williams one. (Go Valks!) The noteworthy parts the place has are the real good amount of banchan dishes, bibimbap and the short rib, the spicy one in particular. While I probably will not visit the place again anytime soon, at least I can keep this place in mind if I want Korean food without driving to Santa Clara. There's plenty of parking behind the spot. As you come in, the place looks simple, but it works. You have the adorable ajumma/ajumni to take your order. The stuff I ordered. I had water, banana milk and kimchi fried rice. Since I was the only one that had more than 1 drink, I told my cousins and cousin in law the banana milk, and they did bring up how on occasion, you see the drink in K-dramas. Of course, we laughed on how my parents never got into K-dramas and while I'm at it, Filipino dramas. Oh well. Oh, there's no doubt the food is good, and the place is too legit (to quit) as I did hear Korean from a different table. As I typed up, there are plenty of banchan dishes. Not Los Angeles amount of banchan dishes, but there are plenty of banchan dishes never the less. The kimchi fried rice dish may be simple, but it does give off that homey feel. Can't forget how Big actually is affordable, the big reason why my cousins and cousin in law like the place so much. The reason why the place doesn't get a perfect score. The place would have received a perfect score if, the major matter I remember here, the place has mul naengmyun (my favorite Korean dish). Originally, I wanted Japanese ramen before my cousins mentioned this place, and I was ready to pivot to having mul naengmyun, but I was told that the place doesn't carry the noodle dish. (Being a very good and logical dish to eat for at the very least half of the year in a city like here San Jose is the reason why of all of the Korean dishes, I like mul naengmyun the most.) There probably is one or two minor flaws I already forgot, but the lack of mul naengmyun is the dead on reason why I don't give the place a perfect score. On a side note, it's nice that I told the group what banana milk and mul naengmyun are, and by doing so, they learn something new regarding eating at Korean spots just in case. BigSpoon is a good spot. While it may not be as iconic as the places in Santa Clara, it is a good spot never the less. It does a good job at being a Korean spot for an area that is more so known for Mexican food. If you live on the east side, head on over here because the place should get your attention. +/BigSpoon is brilliant and spiffy because it has a terrific combination of good simple food, affordability and wonderful service. -/If only the place also has mul naengmyun.
