Have been here multiple times and only finally getting around to writing a review. Chef Wang has a very extensive menu with so many amazing dishes to choose from. They have rarely disappointed me with the dishes I have ordered and its always such a fun time to come eat here with friends. My friends are usually obsessed with the puff pastry chicken which we always order on our visits. Its always crispy with just the right amount of spice. This is a great place for lunch or dinner with friends as well as birthday celebrations. Food and service very good. I live 5 miles away from here and with Chinese pick up spots on every corner I always make the effort to come here. Food not over greasy or over salted. I just moved into the neighborhood and really glad this place is close to home. Delicious Chinese Szechuan style food! I ordered the BBQ Spare ribs and Spicy wontons for appetizers and they were so good .. not a bite left behind. My wife normally doesn't like spicy but she ate everything. For entree we had the fish with pickled vegetables and braised pork belly Szechuan style and it was truly delight. The food is well seasoned and literally you just look forward to the next bite. It wasn't overly spicy but had some kick to it and generous in portions as well. Great restaurant and can't wait to visit again. read more

Definitely one of the better Szechuan cuisine out here on Long Island and probably the best I've been to in Nassau county. I've been here a couple of times now most of the time for take out orders and I've always been pleased with their food and service. They have a rather small parking lot that fits about 10-12 cars at most and unfortunately its usually full when I was here during weekend evenings so you'll most likely have to pay for the street parking on Jericho or park farther off in the residential streets. Since parking is a bit hassle I tend to come over for take outs, however I definitely do like their interior design, they have plenty of tables and very clean bathroom. Last time I called and placed my order was given a 25 min wait and they were true to their word. They did get one of the order wrong and placed Scallion pancakes instead, however its not really an issue since it was really delicious especially with the sweetish soy sauce they include. My favorite was definitely the double cooked pork though, it was a bit oily but really brings out the flavor well with the chili oils, I suppose you won't feel as guilty with the dish given that a lot of scallion are included to count toward the daily vegetable quota :) Be sure to check out the cute turtles and fish at the indoor pond! read more

This is a recent review on take out. Called for take out, turn around time was quick and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the sizzling beef entree - lots of tender pieces of beef with a nice sweet sauce tangy sauce. The sauteed vegetables with garlic was very tasty. I moved nearby and managed to go 3 times in two weeks. Food is spectacular and efficient. Service is authentically blah ... and that's okay. The servers do have tough exteriors and warm up well. Chef Wang is a pleasant guy that is even humble enough to open the door. There is some technical artistry is his food and presentation. Complex sauces really shine. I can't believe I haven't written a review about this place, it's really some of the most authentic Chinese food you can get outside of Flushing or Chinatown. My family has been hooked on this place and we order from here anytime we're too lazy to cook lol Our go to order is sour cabbage fish soup, sauteed string beans, black bean chicken, and twice cooked sliced pork. We've order for delivery, take out, and dined in, and the quality is impeccable every time. My favorite is the sour cabbage soup because the flavor is spot on. It's spicy enough to make you cough (I consider this to be a compliment lol), but not too spicy that you can't eat it. You get pretty chunks of fish and vermicelli noodles. And the soup omg the soup is so lovely! It's creamy, peppery, and savory; this is a must get dish. The other dish that quickly became my favorite surprisingly is there black bean chicken. I had low expectations of this dish because I'm normally not a fan of black bean sauce, but this one was really good. It's a bit watery compared to other restaurants, but it pairs so well with rice and you get a lot of chicken and vegetables. The twice cooked sliced pork is savory, spicy, and crispy. I think the pork is cooked in a chili oil and the oil from the pork infused with the chili is perfection. The sauteed string beans are good too, they're not mind blowing but I like string beans lol Also the staff here are so nice and friendly. The restaurant itself is pretty huge on the inside and the interior is really nice, however the outside is pretty inconspicuous; you'd probably miss it if you were driving there at night. read more

Looking for a good Chinese spot in the area is a difficult thing, but I believe I just found my new favorite spot! Wow am I impressed by this meal. While on a new healthy diet, I ordered steamed chicken with mixed vegetables (black bean sauce on the side). My dad had the pan fried noodle Hong Kong style, also a filling dish. I love this place.... it's located on Jericho and it looks kinda shady on the outside... like not as inviting as it should, but looks are really deceiving. When you roll up inside of this gem, you will be in for a really authentic treat. This place is so cute on the inside and quite spacious, always a steady pace of peeps rolling in and out from what I've seen. I def recommend getting a few dishes and splitting them amongst your table so you you can taste MORE. Heads up: if you're starving and craving pork buns (soup dumplings) order them immediately as they take 15 minutes to prepare... I have had a multitude of dishes and each one has been better the next.. my favorite is the chicken with string beans. Tender pieces of chicken are sautéed and mixed with these delicious greens making you feel like you're not really over doing it. The fried rice also comes as a generous heaping pile... love love love their scallion pancakes, they are crispy and crunchy, not mushy or soggy AT ALL. Really a nice bite to kick off your meal. Well, this time it was quite disappointing eating here. It's very unlikely that we'd still come back because other than the soup dumplings and crispy beef with a sweet sauce (sorry, don't remember the name) I'd never order the sesame chicken (all breading and not enough chicken), Peking pork chops (very fatty and too much sauce and bones) and mai fun (totally bland disgusting and dry and no taste). We were all very upset and annoyed with our meal. It is huge on the inside even though the outside looks like a huge house. We had perfect service and the food portion was large. I had left overs for days.
