I haven't been here in a while but I used to come quite often. The food is still delicious and the service is just as good as I remember. There are some parking spaces right out front and parking behind the restaurant as well. There's a decent amount of seating there but it can fill up quickly . They only take reservations for large parties. The food is amazing. Authentic Chinese cuisine. The soup dumplings are delicious. The Young Chow Fried Rice is very good as well. Our server was very good my last visit. Attentive and helpful with suggestions. It's cash only so don't forget that important note.
I have come here for the past 6 years since I've lived and moved to Little Neck/Douglaston area. This was my go to soup dumplings place and their beef noodle soup is my favorite. My wife also loved the soup. We order from this location every month or every couple months and definitely utilize the valpak coupon that comes in the mail. Today, however will be my last time eating at this establishment. We ordered for pick up like we normally do, 2 spicy beef noodles, 1 sesame chicken, and fried dumplings. The food was good, but to my surprise as I was eating my beef noodle which I have had countless times. I felt something hard in my mouth... as I was trying to figure out what it was I spat it out eventually because it was definitely not chewable. It was a clipped fingernail!!! FINGERNAIL!!! This is just plan gross!! As soon as I found out, I called them, I believe the lady at the register and answers the phone is Helen, who offered a refund or she could make another replacement for that ONE noodle. We didnt want a replacement for anything. Keep in mind my wife ordered the same thing, she no longer had appetitie to eat her noodle soup. We requested that we bring back all the food and get a full refund, which we did. She stated that in the 20 years that the restaurant has been open, they never had this happen before. Well, you know what, it happened and I will definitely not return. Upon returning the food, Helen gave me the refund amount in full, and was apologetic. Without my request, Helen had 2 spicy beef noodle soups ready for pick up. Although a nice gesture, I cannot and will not eat at this place anymore. She insisted that I take it, but I just couldn't. She also said that sometimes when they make the beef, its packaged really tightly, which I'm not sure what the relevance had to do with the fingernail. As a grown man, I have never had somebody else's fingernail trimmings in my mouth, I nearly threw up because that is just plan gross. My wife has been gagging here and there for the past hour just thinking about it. This place is crowded, the food is good. But how did a fingernail get into my food. Im not going sit and find out, I'm never returning to this restaurant, Little Dumpling little neck on northern Blvd. I have informed my friends and family that have eaten at this location. Customers beware. If you want extra protein, it might come in a form of fingernail clippings.
I've passed by little dumpling many a times being enticed by the cute dumpling logo and today I went. It certainly lived up to my hopes. The servers are friendly. The place is very clean. We had to order a dumpling and a noodle dish to celebrate the lunar new year; and with how delicious these noodles were I hope they bring me longevity to come back for more. We got pork soup dumplings, wontons in the chili peanut butter sauce, and Shanghai style udon noodles. The udon noodles were some of the best I had. Such a simple dish but the noodles had a perfect chew to it and the savory sauce clung to the noodles so well. I kinda wished the wontons had a bit more spice to them but I probably could've just asked for some extra chili oil. But the wonton skin on them was thin enough to not be overpowering to the filling while still holding up to the sauce. The soup dumplings too the perfect dumpling skin. They just really know what they're doing with the dough there. It is CASH ONLY so bring cash. (Soup dumplings not pictured because they were devoured)

Stopped by Little Dumpling on Northern Blvd in Queens for lunch and had a great meal. Started with the wine chicken and of course, the pork soup dumplings. The soup dumplings, despite the kind you get, are an absolute must every time you come here. Perfectly soupy and packed with flavor, that will really hit the spot. For my main dish, I had the Snow Cabbage with Pork Noodle Soup, which was super comforting and full of flavor. The noodles had great texture, and the broth was light but satisfying. I paired it all with a kumquat lemon green tea, which was cold, citrusy, and really refreshing. A perfect balance to the warm noodle soup and dumplings. The service was attentive without being overbearing, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The atmosphere was casual, and while there was a moderate level of noise, it was never too loud to hear the person sitting across from me. If you're in the area and craving soup dumplings and a cozy lunch, Little Dumpling is always a solid choice.
Once it gets cold outside, Little Dumpling is always my go to. Every item on their menu makes me feel warm and happy. My favorite is their soup dumplings. Service is super quick and friendly, this place is a MUST!
Again, I recently tried this restaurant and wasn't impressed. Their dumplings fell apart which was very disappointing... the atmosphere is a bit sad, and the food is expensive. The service is ok, not great. I think the dumplings are much better at Pearl East, surprisingly. I have tried Little Dumpling 3 times now and each time have been disappointed.
Nice dumpling place not in the heart of a busy area. They have parking in front of the store and a parking lot below the store. There is a little wait during prime time. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Fast service! Always checking to see if you need anything. We had the soup dumplings to start. Followed by some crispy scallion pancakes. (A must try). We also had some noodle and main course dishes. The waiter was more than kind enough to make some suggestions. We had a delicious fish filet dish, the Crispy noodle and chicken dish was yummy too. The only dish everyone was not crazy about was the short rib in sweet and sour sauce. The Sauce was fine but the meat was tough! Chewy and not tender. It was a disappointment! Hope we get better short ribs next time.
Food is consistently good! If you enjoy soup dumplings, those are their specialty! The ambiance is somewhere between good and very good, the tables are a little tight but sufficient. Service is fine with cordial staff. Favorites are: spicy Beef noodle soup and Salted Prawns. All dumplings are great, just pick your flavor!
I was in the mood for dumplings but really I was in the mood for the dumplings that I had at Yumpling (courtesy of Yelp). The traffic was too much so decided to look for a place close to me. The dumplings were okay, they were what you would normally get. So I have nothing bad to say about them because that's what I'm used to until I tasted the yumpling ones. So I guess it's not fair to compare it to those. The service was good. I did feel it was a bit pricy $9. Something just for that. And it's cash or debit card only.
This place is stellar! Literally one of the staples of Little Neck. Classic Szechuan cuisine that is absolutely delicious can be found here and you can't go wrong with any of it. Took my mom here for her first experience with soup dumplings and now she is a huge fan. I'm addition, to the pork soup dumplings, we also ordered shrimp fried rice and wontons in chili oil and a peanut sauce. We couldn't stop eating it was so good. Everything came out quick and hot which was perfect. We were in a rush so we got the check right away, which made us feel bad because the staff was confused as to why we left so soon. I assure you it was just because we were on a time constraint. Also, not to be overlooked was the passion fruit green tea. Super delish. On a Saturday the place was crowded. We were able to sit luckily and grab food quickly but definitely be aware that this is a hot spot.

Always a hit with my family. Come with a big group or a party of 3. The service is fast with a quick turnaround. The soup dumplings are flavorful with a nice firm bottom so its not sensitive when picking up. We love the corn soup and the flounder filet with ginger. All the other traditional dinner dishes always hits like the walnut shrimp or Peking porkchop. Abundance of parking in the rear. And the staff is friendly. read more

Came here for lunch on a Sunday (no reservations) and spent $160 for six people which wasn't bad especially since we ordered a lot! However, please note that this is CASH ONLY! The restaurant is decently spacious and has two restrooms in the back. The servers were all super nice and attentive with refilling our tea. The tea came in mugs which I thought was different (in a good way) from other Chinese restaurants. I really liked the sour fish and mustard greens dish. The stir fried green beans and beef noodle soup (which wasn't spicy at all) were also good. We ordered the pork soup dumplings to share which were great! read more

We have been on the hunt for soup dumplings since our favorite place shut down. The birthday girl requested this so we decided to try it out and it didn't disappoint! We ordered the pork and crab soup dumplings as well as the black truffle pork soup dumplings. They were delicious! The dumplings were meaty and soupy. The skin is good, not thick. The black truffle was so flavorful! We ordered scallion pancakes and they were nice and crispy. Service is friendly and efficient. It has a warm feel in a modern setting. The restaurant is cash only so come prepared. There is a small lot in the front, street parking and parking in a lot on a side street. Now we know where to go to get our soup dumpling fix! read more
A very adequate dumpling and Chinese restaurant. Fast. , friendly and efficient service. Vegetables cooked to perfection. Delicious lobster with ginger scallion sauce. Udon noodles were outstanding !! Very reasonable prices (cash only). They have a garage on the side street. Certainly an experience I could repeat many times. Run don't walk over and enjoy !! I've reviewed this place before and it continues to offer outstanding, authentic, family style cuisine with friendly efficient service. It's busy and popular and for good reason. I don't believe they take reservations and I believe it's all cash so check ahead. The sign in the photo are the name of the restaurant in Chinese characters. The characters are the same sounding characters as Bruce Lee's name in Chinese (Li Xiao Long) which means "little dragon". As a pun, they changed the last character to the same sounding character as Bruce Lees name but now the three characters together state most of the characters for "soup dumpling". Very clever! read more

We came here on NYE, and we had a coupon that expired on December 31, 2024, but they said they wouldn't accept it because it was NYE, but why have it expire on December 31, 2024? If you aren't able to use it, put it on the coupon that, it can't be used on certain dates. Service and food were good. read more

Queens! A real Chinatown food wise but without any tourists. I loved this fast paced dumpling emporium. You can park in an underground lot underneath the building if you figure out the way in. That's the way that you know this restaurant is frequented by locals. Such delicious food. read more
Jellyfish (4.5/5) - $11 The jelly fish was very refreshing and a bit sour. I really enjoyed the radish and carrots but the portion were defiantly smaller. Sliced Flounder Fish in Chili Sauce (3/5) - 19.25 The sliced flounder fish in chili sauce were mediocre. I thought the sauce were to starchy and the spice was mainly from the chili flakes instead of chili oil. Black Truffle Pork Soup Dumpling (5/5) - $13 The black truffle pork soup dumplings were very good. The pork meat and the soup went very well with the truffle bits on top. I highly recommend if you like truffle. Sauteed Baby Bok Choy (4.5/5) - 14.25 The sautéed baby bok Choy was salted just right. The pieces were huge tho. Other than that it was good overall. Cumin Lamb with Leek (4.5/5) - 20.25 The cumin lamb with leek had a very bold cumin chili spice. The lambs were juicy and nicely coated. It was hoping it to be slightly spicer but it was still very flavorful. Extras The staff are very attentive and nice Food came out so fast It is cash only Affordable read more

Always have a great meal here. We started off with some crispy salted chicken- AMAZING. A scallion pancake- super crispy and not too oily, the Westlake pork, awesome- but be warned, super fatty and rich so it's best shared by many, and the pork soup dumplings. Which I unfortunately did not get a pic of because they were eaten so fast. Great prices, great service, clean place. We can't wait to come back! read more

Do you guys serve vegan options?
Their vegan options are limited. Vegetable with tofu, gluten meals for mock meat; and of course Chinese broccoli and side vegetable items
Do they have dairy & nut free options? Are they considerate about food allergies?
We were worried about the peanut sauce, and they were accommodating enough to put it on the side for us. So I would assume they would be more than convenient in accommodating food allergies.
