I was expecting something a little fresher, like a whole grilled chicken breast for the price. Instead, this seemed like a pre-made patty from a vendor they just heated up in an oven. The house potatoes were simple and pretty good though. They add cheese and herbs and spices to these to amp them up. The coffee was hot and the waitress kept it coming even after we had finished. I love that and it is one thing I look for in regard to great service. We sat for about half an hour just chatting and the whole experience was very nice and cozy. The price was appropriate and I was happy with everything. As I looked around the dining room, I noticed they go out of the way to show their pride in ownership and excellence. There are signs and displays of awards from the community. I applaud that and I think that is another hallmark of a great restaurant. They hosted a Full Irish Breakfast Saturday morning which was scrambled eggs, bacon, bangers, black pudding, stewed tomatoes, pork and beans, and scones. It was also good I forgot to take a picture of the food but I got one of the great Irish Whiskey! If you have ever had bacon in Ireland you know it's the best! Food: They can't accommodate any custom requests. I asked for extra crispy bacon on my eggs benedict and they said they would see what they could do. It was really soggy and chewy so I couldn't eat it (texture issue). Do not order the eggs benedict, three of us at the table ordered different variations of this dish and were all disappointed (zero texture, extra soggy, no flavor, too much hollandaise sauce). Do not order the eggs benedict on the potato pancakes if you are hungry, the potato pancakes were as thin as a dime and the size of my hand. I left hungry and went home to eat. The one person who didn't order the eggs benedict loved their food. The rest of the food that was coming out looked great, I think we just ordered the wrong dishes. We'll give this place a try again in the future to try something else off the menu.
