    Smothered Biscuits and Gravy
    Andrew J.

Hearty and affordable. I had the smothered biscuits and gravy. LOTS of food. So of course I had to order the potato pancakes also, just to try them, since I'm here. I can't recommend those potatoes but the biscuits and gravy were tasty.

Sunday am at 11a we were told 15 min wait, it wasn't even 5. Large menu-my husband got the lumberjack omelet, side of toast, and it was really big, delicious. I wanted to try a frittata since I never had one before, it was good! It came with a side of pancakes (or toast, I believe). I would love to go back and try their lunch. Small little diner. I thought the food was fresh & service was good! Lots of food at a decent price

Great prices, huge selection, nice service, giant portions, and tasty food. We had the lingonberry crepes, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, bacon, sausage gravy oh my! Didn't get anywhere near finishing it. It was all good. The dining area had lots of booths and was clean, good a/c.

Nice diner for breakfast. I had the Washington omelette which was very good. Staff were friendly. I would definitely come back

Ligon crepes and make your own scramble. Oh, and bacon on the side of course haha.

Great breakfast diner in Appleton! Their menu is extensive and the price is very reasonable especially considering the portion sizes. I got ligon crepes and my friend did the make your own scramble. We were both stuffed after eating half of our orders. Our server was very friendly and attentive and a few times a man who I'm assuming is the owner came over and chatted with us for a bit. Exactly what you want when you go to a small town diner!

Massive portions and good food. Just switched owners, but the place looks, feels, and tastes the same. Love the skillets and omelets!

Shortly, I was able to order online. I didn't take pictures however I do want to share. The wings were cooked perfectly. I felt there wasn't enough seasoning of either of the flavors. There wasn't a way to order extra of the dry rub flavors. The Dill Pickle was barely detectable-but the wings were still great! I put my own seasoning on at home. What I could taste of the Bloody Mary Wings (also dry rub)was awesome! I wanted more of it. Next time I will try those Bloody Mary wings again! Things were packaged well and they did come with ranch and celery. We just need that flavor on those wings. Pictures next time

My client indicated it had been renovated recently. Our waitress was really good and attentive. Our group of 5 ordered mostly everything but a burger. Only 1 person had the burger. I tried the chicken wings since they were advertising several different flavors and I figured they would be decent. 10 pc bone-in wings - I chose the sweet chili and honey habanero dry rub. I ended up liking the dry rub the best, but the wings were not spicy whatsoever even though they had habanero in them supposedly. We also did a cheese curd sampler platter and I did like each of these which came with 2 different dipping sauces.

They have an upstairs tap room, an arcade, and a bar and restaurant downstairs. The service was all-around incredible. The employees were warm, friendly, and professional, and they seemed to know exactly how often to check in without interrupting our meal. They spaced out our drinks, appetizers, and entrees just the right amount. Our server Andrew was particularly great. We had a soda flight of their craft sodas for a super super reasonable price, and every single soda was spectacular. We're spoiled in the craft soda department by virtue of living in Wisconsin (Sprecher, Potosi, etc), but this was definitely the best craft soda we've had. Even the wacky flavors like blue raspberry were rich and flavorful--they didn't taste overwhelmingly artificial. I cannot recommend their soda enough, although I imagine their craft beer is pretty good too! We also had a delicious mocktail, which always goes a long ways in impressing us. All of our food was reasonably priced and so, so, fresh and delicious. The Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese was heavenly!! We loved our entrees as well. Even something simple like the fries were perfectly done--fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside I don't think we could have asked for a better experience. Everything we had their was top notch, and despite the number of things we ordered, our bill was not very high at all (about $50 for a mocktail, a craft soda flight and a soda pint, an appetizer and two entrees.

My experience this time around was a little bit more of a let down hence why I had to take one star off. When I went few months ago, I had burnt coffee which I chalked it up as a one time error. But it happened again with this visit, so that told me they don't really pay much attention to their coffee yet they have a whole menu dedicated to coffee. I also made a reservation on a Sunday knowing it fills up quick and that it might be hard to get a table, however, it was an hour and half before they close which means they tend to slow down around that time. Also, when making a reservation, it'll ask you if you want bar, dining area or patio. I chose dining area. Yet they called me an half hour before to see if I wanted to sit at the bar, which I told them twice in person I do not want to, and as a result the hostess gave me the annoyed/judgmental look down when I wasn't looking. As someone who has owned a family restaurant business for 30 years, that's a big no-no in terms of customer service. It's just rude and unnecessary. Also, they kind of really try to get customers out by 2, which is when they close. By standard at most restaurants, they need an extra hour after closing for customers to take their time with their meals rather than rushing through it, especially if you will sit them 20 minutes before closing time. I felt rushed, and I don't like that feeling at a place I'm trying to enjoy my meal. Would I come back here? Absolutely yes because their food is really the best for brunch in the area and it's cleaner. It just shouldn't be an excuse with certain things like what I mentioned above. P.S. if chicken and waffles happens to be one of the specials, get it. It's by far the best dish I've ever tried there and also my top 3 chicken & waffles that I've tried anywhere. SO GOOD!
