Great little spot!! Was in town visiting family and stumbled upon this place on Uber eats. Instead of ordering I decided to go dine in! So glad we did! Our server seated us immediately after greeting us at the door! We placed our drink orders and took a few mins to look at the menu!! I went with the Mexican omelette, so good! My only feedback would be to chop on the jalapeños better. Eating whole slices was a bit awkward!! My mom got the huevos rancheros, another hit!! Highly suggest you order your hashbrowns extra crisply!! So good!! We did share their stuffed French toast! So yummy!!

Let me start by saying this is a 3.5 star review. I'll keep hammering Yelp to allow reviewers to give half star for more accurate reviews. My friend and I decided to give this restaurant a try as we had never been there. It is a standard, local restaurant with no bells or whistles. We found a menu brimming with plenty of choices, a casual atmosphere and friendly service. I went with the Mexican omelette. It was large, prepared nicely but lacked flavor. I ended up adding salt and salsa, which I always try to avoid. The hash browns and pancakes were good. My dining partner had the thin french toast. He thought it was good. My coffee cup never went empty during our visit. The atmosphere was very casual with several groups of older men having what appeared to be their regular coffee club. The price of breakfast was reasonable and the portion size was generous. We will certainly consider a return trip, to try something else on their menu.

Excellent little local restaurant with great food and super friendly service! Potato pancakes were delicious as was the ground beef steak and eggs with nice crispy American fries. Just a great meal at good prices and prepared with great care and love!

Awesome little breakfast joint in Appleton, WI. Friendly service, delicious food, and great prices. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town for work.

A local favorite! The food is great and priced appropriately .. my new favorite is the Kimberly Sandwich! We've only ever been here for breakfast, will look to expand into lunch soon. The building decor is a bit outdated with wood paneling all over, but it does give the place its character. The service staff is always friendly, however they seem to be understaffed during busy times.

Everyone at our table was satisfied w our meals! It's a classic American diner type of place. Huge portions and reasonable/cheap prices. The server was pretty freaking awesome. She was serving the whole diner all by herself and she was absolutely killing it. Friendly, patient, and attentive. Definitely give them a try if you need a warm and relaxing meal. Unfortunately I didn't get the servers name.

This is my go-to spot for a morning feast. My little man is all about the lumberjack meal, while I can't resist the gyro omelet, raspberry crepes, and the fab #5 Waffle Combo. In my two-year stint in Kimberly, not once has this place served up a breakfast that didn't tickle my taste buds. The staff? Always grinning. The fellow patrons? Just as chirpy. It's like a slice of small-town charm with a side of syrup.

The rarity time off we snuck over here and could not have been more impressed! Very much a unique place in Appleton but takes you to a big city like NYC or Portland. The vibes, decor, overall environment was welcoming. Food was delicious! We got BYO omelette and Cheese risotto cake with braised beef short ribs. Both were cooked to perfection and flavors aplenty. Not overly salted which many places can be. The perfect portion size that we didn't even need to take anything to go. Honestly impressed. Even more cool is they try to source ingredients locally when they can so it's helping our community. Very excited to have found this place and will be back for more! We did try some of their specialty drinks and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu whenever we get the chance. We came back for a second visit fairly quickly because we kept thinking about the food! We got some breakfast bowls and added protein to it. Again, this place did not disappoint in the slightest! They're located in an old building along the main street in downtown. For lunch, they seemed to have a short list of items...and not really catering to a red meat eater like me. I picked the chicken pesto sandwich since I normally eat chicken sandwiches for lunch and opted for the house potatoes. Our waitress was very loopy and loud add seemed overly happy about her job. My colleague thinks she was yelling at us whem she spoke, but I believe that is just how some people talk. My chicken sandwich was good...but the chicken breast seemed like a machine formed patty and it was small. I was expecting something a little fresher, like a whole grilled chicken breast for the price. Instead, this seemed like a pre-made patty from a vendor they just heated up in an oven. The house potatoes were simple and pretty good though. They add cheese and herbs and spices to these to amp them up. I can't really speak for the breakfast or cocktail program, but their music was pretty good.

ACOCA immediately gives off that independent coffeehouse/artsy/creative energy you don't necessarily expect when you're remembering the Appleton of your younger days. We all ordered the Bagels & Lox with salad, and I'm not gonna lie ~ that plate looked damn good. Fresh lox, colorful veggies, pickled onions, greens and an everything bagel. Add some quality coffee and you've got yourself a pretty solid morning. The space was spotless, the service was friendly, the drinks were good and the atmosphere was genuinely cool. But let's talk $$$. This was the priciest morning meal we had in Appleton, and one person in our group felt the price was a little high considering you have to put the sandwich together yourself, and only one of us was given a small ramekin of salad dressing accompanying our meal. Also we wish the bagel was slightly toasted instead of just a sliced everthing bagel. Still, I'd rather pay a little more occasionally for a place with personality than eat somewhere completely forgettable. ACOCA definitely has personality. Would I return? Absolutely!!! It was really soggy and chewy so I couldn't eat it (texture issue). Do not order the eggs benedict, three of us at the table ordered different variations of this dish and were all disappointed (zero texture, extra soggy, no flavor, too much hollandaise sauce). Do not order the eggs benedict on the potato pancakes if you are hungry, the potato pancakes were as thin as a dime and the size of my hand. I left hungry and went home to eat. The one person who didn't order the eggs benedict loved their food. The rest of the food that was coming out looked great, I think we just ordered the wrong dishes.
