Found this gem while in Homestead, FL. Located on a corner near Krome. This is a Puerto Rican restaurant with all the best Puerto Rican fare! It's decorated in typical hibaro fashion (iykyk). There is both indoor and outdoor seating. There is street parking and I think you might be able to park behind the restaurant. We couldn't figure out how to get there...lol. The service was friendly and the waitress gave great suggestions. For our appetizer we had the Alcapurria's. They were sooooo good! For my main, I had the El Yunque Burger. It was delicious! Had everything but the kitchen sink in it but the combo worked! There was even mofongo in the burger. My fiance had the El Pork Belly tapa with Truffle fries. The El Pork Belly was scrumptious! Fell off the bone with tostones or fried green plantains ( for my English speaking folks). The Truffle fries were also very good. I can't recommend this place enough! Go there when in Homestead. You won't regret it!

Love this place so much ! We are doing TAKE Out for now because I am currently recovering from ACL and meniscus surgery but the best treat for me is food from this restaurant. I feel it's one of the best restaurants in homestead. The service is amazing and the owners and chef are so friendly and nice. Their burgers are the best I've had, and you need to try their key lime empanada. It comes with the Best side ice cream I've ever had. Love this place and I want to try everything in their menu ! The ambiance is cozy and they have outdoor seating.

Bolitas De Queso (Smoked Gouda, Edam Cheese, & Guava Yaba Glaze) & Mac & cheese with brisket

The restaurant has indoor & outdoor seating options. It has cute artwork all around the indoor dining area that is available for purchase. They have all kinds of Spanish music playing. Although it is labeled as a Caribbean restaurant, the food is primarily Puerto Rican & burgers. The wait staff was very nice & the food came out fairly quickly. The bolitas de queso were not your typical cheese balls, they were a little less dense than most & the guava sauce was a bit different & less sweet than most with less guava flavor. As a lover of all things cheese, the Mac & cheese was way too cheesy but the brisket was quite good & it was a nice balance. El Bori Philly was a nice size & flavorful. The ño burger had a good juicy meat & nice bread, but you have to like bbq sauce. The truffle fries were just perfect.

Absolutely incredible! The service was great, the two waitresses were so helpful and fun. We got a Chino Tainio chicken sandwich and a smash burger as our main courses. The chicken sandwich was SO good. The smash burger was also great, a classic delicious burger. For dessert we had the key like empanadas and wow. They were so perfectly crispy - I don't even know how they achieved that. 10/10 would recommend.

Great food in a unique style. Not much parking. Street side parking is available. Inside the restaurant were local art pieces for sale. And we love how local business's support each other. We were seated immediately and jumped on the Hummus appetizer. For entrees, I had the Show Me Your Green Burger. I love that they had the Patty made with savory plantains. It was crispy on the outside of the patty and a great texture on the inside. My wife had the I Just Want A Burger, she loved it. Both burgers were tall and the buns were still soft. Our little one had the Arroz con gandules. She finished her plate! We will be back! Major bonus: 20% military discount year round

Amazing food here. Got food to bring to work for lunch here. Ordered the Chicken Caribowl. Probably the best arroz con guandules I ever had. The rice very delicious, well seasoned and lots of flavor to go along with the chicken the pickled onions and that scoop of potato salad. I also had the surulitos. Really good flavor of the cornmeal sticks. Really authentic Puerto Rican food. Good timely service and very good atmosphere if you decide to eat here. Very recommend.

This is a very small restaurant with very little seating but with a nice vibe to it. Very friendly staff and a chef that takes pride in his cooking. Food always comes out fresh and with a great presentation. The food always has a great blends of flavors. This visit I tried there "I just want a burger." I asked for it medium rare and it was prepared exactly that way and they included everything that I had asked for. Our waitress was friendly and always available. Prices are good and they offer specials and a good variety of choices. When we leave if the cook sees us he always thanks us personally for coming in. Very warm and friendly staff. Free parking outside with a busy street.

The burger was one of the best I've had in a while. The dessert empanadas were worth the trip alone.

Went for lunch the other day as a quick stop before the keys. What a great place! The place is small but very lively decorated. Our server was super sweet as well. Food took a minute because was made to order and trust me, worth the wait. We had the bolitas the queso with guava and it was delicious. As a puertorican myself, this dish took me back to when I had this in Old San Juan. For starters I tried the award winning Ño burger and is award winning for good reason. 10/10 would recommend!

Loved the food and service. Ordered chicken mofongo, and a burger without bun. It was one of the most delicious burgers I've had in a long time. The spicy butter was my favorite, I even took some home. For desert we had the key lime pie empanada, delicious and warm inside. Loved the art from local artists. Will be back.

    El Bori Philly

Attentive service, and the best small, local restaurant vibe. The El Bori Philly was delicious. Really recommend checking out this cute spot if you're in the Homestead area!

    Outside patio dining!

We ate outside in the lovely eating area. This food was so amazing. You must order the fries with your burger, because they come out hot & fresh and you can't stop eating them. The burgers were so incredible! Perfect flavors with a super perfect balance of toppings. These were the best burgers we've had in our life, and the service was impeccable. Very fast & super friendly, patient, and helpful. We are really wish we lived near this restaurant to eat there all the time.

Stopped here on the way through based on yelp reviews and boy am I glad we did. Street parking. The food was fantastic. Made to order so definitely not fast food. We ate at a table in the small dining area which had four tables and 14 seats total (a bit cramped). We ordered the habanero chicken bites, the regular hamburger and fries, and the No burger (which won an award) It was pretty amazing and ranks as one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Server was friendly & attentive. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to eat on the way down to the Keys or just for lunch!

The food and drinks are consistently amazing. I've been coming here since they first opened (I believe back in 2014), and I'll keep coming back. Their menu is packed with bold, flavorful dishes, an impressive cocktail selection, and honestly, they were one of the places that got me through COVID! From the pizzas to the entrées, everything is outstanding. I celebrated my birthday here just last week, and as always, it was excellent. The churrasco is consistently tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The mushroom risotto is rich, creamy, and bursting with earthy mushroom goodness. For dessert, we shared the warm banana bread with salted caramel ice cream, and wow... I still can't stop thinking about it. Whether it's happy hour, lunch, dinner, or a special occasion, Finka never ever ever disappoints. After all these years, it's still one of my favorite spots in Miami, and I recommend it to everyone looking for a memorable lunch, dinner or happy hour, do it right and come to Finka.

He was always available but not hovering. Water was plentiful and didn't have to ask for it. We were there around 6:30 on. Wednesday. We wanted a quieter spot and the hostess was great about finding us one. And it was a bit noisy. There was a large group of "fratboy" types making way too much noise at the bar. So we appreciated the hostess getting us a table far from them. I do have one small critique about the lighting. We were in a row of tables that had NOT ONE OVERHEAD LIGHT. AND the lights that were overhead about 10 feet on either side of the table were on very dim. We had to use our phone lights to read the menu. But I will return and refer others.

We went to watch the NY Knicks beat the SA Spurs 94-90 to win the 2026 NBA Finals! The place was packed with lots of energy. We managed to find seats luckily. We ordered the Batch Burger with fries to share as it is a big burger. We added the aged cheddar cheese. They sell the fries, sauce and cheese separately. So it came to $28.62 for the burger n fries! Slightly overcharged. The burger did not taste good at all and there were 8-10 little fries without any flavor. We asked our server to please have the manager stop by. She reluctantly agreed. The manager adjusted the bill after seeing the fries and brought out a new plate of fries. We appreciated that he made it right. I try to be as honest as I can when leaving a review, and as I said in my original review, Batch had always been great our prior visits (food and service). I completely understand with the World Cup going on, that not everything will go smoothly. Thank you Batch for getting in touch, we'll be back. ********** Original Review: Previous experiences had been awesome at Batch. But last night (because of the World Cup?) it was NOT pleasant. 1-Our reservation, which was confirmed via texts (with an s), email, phone calls (also with an s), couldn't be found and when it finally was, we still had to wait another 20 minutes for a table. People who were in line WITHOUT a reservation (I know because I had asked them before I went inside) were seated while we were still waiting for our table!!! (Because there were 3 of them and "we were just 2"). 2-The music even with the SuperBowl is always on a decent level, where you can have a conversation. Last night it was horribly loud. It's a bar, not a nightclub. 3- After (finally getting seated), no one came to take our order. After waiting another 10 minutes we left. I gave 3 stars for the food (although we didn't get the chance to order any), because usually it's quite good. We left Batch, went to a restaurant, where we had a great time, excellent service, and exquisite food. All the while able to watch the game and have a conversation. I am leaving this review as a constructive feedback, because Batch in recent months was an otherwise nice place to go to. My advice: Don't chew more than you can swallow. Last night was chaotic and unpleasant.

Eventually, we were taken care of. We all got one of their sodas and thought h they tasted good. We tried to order their award-winning fish dip, listed on the specials board, but the waitress said they were out of chips. Ok, fine -- we said "forget it" and moved onto the main course. We all ordered some variation of the Fancy Nancy, their namesake burger. It was a good burger but not the best in Florida. Not even close. The fries were frozen and nothing to write home about. Others in our party ordered the "award-winning" potato salad, which tasted pretty good. As an aside, I ordered my burger medium well, and it was cooked as desired. Everyone else ordered their burger medium and two were very pink, more like medium rare or rare. It seems like most of their awards and accolades were earned pre-COVID.
