Not only does this florist make some stunning arrangements, they also provide top notch customer service. After my order fell short of expectations, I wrote to their customer service department. I received a response almost immediately from their VP. He quickly reviewed the situation and called us with an apology and a promise to please us. Chelsea Floral Design went out of their way to correct their mistake. They also took the extra step of corresponding with us through each step of the process and sending pictures of the completed arrangement. There aren't many floral shops in Atlanta that aren't just affiliates of 1-800-Flowers or FTD. Chelsea Floral Designs is an independently owned flower shop with a florist who is an artist. They don't just replicate arrangements submitted by those corporate floral companies. I will say that they are a little more expensive however, I think you can expect a certain level of quality from here. I ordered an arrangement from here this week and picked it up myself. For $100, I got a beautiful arrangement with roses, peonies, hydrangeas, and other flowers I don't know the name of. The owner, David, even emailed me after I picked up the flowers to ensure I was satisfied with my arrangement. That small act shows how much a business owner actually cares about his customers. I was quite disappointed as I bought flowers for my friend's birthday and she got them 2 days late. There's nothing that can be done to change that. The surprise was ruined. david at chelsea floral designs did a wonderful job with my wedding this past may. centerpieces were very pretty, and boutineres were gorgeous, esp the groom's. he worked on a pretty tight budget, and relatively tight timeline. in addition, i was getting married in atlanta, but living in the northeast, so i wasn't able to see much other than pictures he sent of different types of flowers he had in mind. the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because i asked for hot pink roses as part of the centerpiece, and they turned out to be too dark, where it looked red in every picture. not a big deal because they still turned out very nice, but someone very picky might have had an issue with it. overall, a great job, i would definitely recommend chelsea floral designs. read more
