I can not thank Dr. Pinto and The Breathe Institute team enough for the care they provided my 5 month old granddaughter Skyler. Since getting her tongue-tie release and working on stretches, massages, and tummy time I notice a difference in her bottle feeding/overall feeding and how she takes in a full gulp of milk. She is gaining more weight and her hair is growing so much faster. She enjoys eating so much that anytime she comes over to visit us, she gets super excited because she is already growing into quite the foodie Can't thank you enough Dr. Chelsea Pinto! Sincerely, Skylers Grandma

Dr. Zin is naturally respectful and kind , and very thorough when explaining everything. Any questions I had, he took the time to answer fully. It feels very disappointing to go through such a long process without a proper final review or conversation about whether the outcome actually met my expectations. That lack of a final check-in or conversation makes me feel like my experience and outcome weren't really considered, especially after such a long and expensive process. On top of that, I spent an additional $900 on retainers that may not even be useful if I move forward with further treatment elsewhere to achieve the results I was originally hoping for. I'm not confident there will be any reimbursement or acknowledgment of these concerns. From my perspective, it feels like once payment is made and treatment is completed, there isn't much recourse available, even when a patient is still unhappy with the outcome. I'm left feeling disappointed and frustrated with the overall experience and financial impact. I also feel that Invisalign may not have been the most suitable option for me. I had initially suggested braces, but was guided toward Invisalign with the reassurance that it would be effective, though I believe braces might have delivered a more cost-effective and better outcome. I needed 2 sets of refinement trays because my aligners were not fitting properly, and my brackets repeatedly fell off during treatment. In hindsight, these issues should have prompted a reassessment of whether Invisalign was the right option for me. Instead, treatment continued despite ongoing signs that it was not progressing as expected. As a result, I now feel I may need to invest additional time and money to correct the original concerns I sought treatment for. Overall, I feel disappointed, frustrated, and honestly really sad about the experience. For the amount of time and money invested, I expected better communication, more care, and a clearer focus on making sure I was actually happy with the final result..

The very first appointment, I remember clearly his telling me there is no reason in this day and age for dentistry to be painful. To this day, he's kept his word. I've never had a problem, despite a massive number of dental caries in the past five years or so. I've confidently referred dozens of friends and their families who have also been with him for years. (Who knows how many folks they've recommended by now?) His work is thorough and I never feel rushed. He is a perfectionist and will make sure he's found the right solution for each situation. You will be treated as an important individual and have no doubt that he cares. He's extremely personable, loves kids and has always done the cleaning himself. The office is managed perfectly by Carole; you'll find everything will run smoothly, including a reminder call the day before. His assistant, Mariela, is wonderful as well. When she takes Xrays, I love how she smiles every time she demonstrates how to hold the film with your teeth. :) Everyone has a great sense of humor and regardless of what may be going on in their personal lives, they're also gracious, accommodating and personable. Let's face it, no one relishes going to the dentist (sorry Allan, you picked the career), but when you have to go, this is where you want to be. You will not be disappointed with your choice, I guarantee it.

He is really nice, so pleasant, explains everything and is very thorough. I've been to places where the hygenists (?) clean your teeth, then the dentists check your grill over. Whatever. Dr. Forrest does all of that himself. I've had to get some bonding on some of the 'ole teeth and it looked great. So besides all the basic stuff I'm pretty sure he does cosmetic stuff too. Everything was gentle and pain free. The kinda funny thing is how he makes conversation with you as he's working on you. "Have you been to the Hollywood Bowl?" he asks. "muphhhhhhhgurgle" I say and nod. Haha!

I have had to call from blocked numbers or other phones in order to have them answer their phone. The doctor states he will give you a call back and you wait a month and you still don't hear back. I'm out of Invisalign trays and I don't even have my retainers as I paid for my entire Invisalign treatment upfront. I was re-scanned over a month ago because my bottom teeth are not where they need to be. At one point in my treatment I was supposed to be given more trays but instead, the provider gave me my Invisalign retainers. When I mentioned to him that these were Invisalign retainers, he told me no, that they were a new and improved version of Invisalign to move your teeth faster. I reminded him that I used to work in orthodontics and Vivera retainers are Invisalign brand retainers. He then proceeded to call Invisalign and get me the correct trays. I received a text message stating that I am responsible for $2500. When I declined to pay that and explained my situation, I was told everything was fine and we were just waiting on the trays. I was last contacted on December 8 by the doctor and I've called the office numerous times as well as sent numerous text messages. No response from anyone in the office. I've been left with no choice but to file a complaint with the dental board for patient neglect and withholding product that I have paid for. Tried calling the office again but the number is disconnected. I did received a text message stating that they are moving and had to cancel all appointments. I tried calling the number on yelp, but that just rings forever and no one picks up.

I envisioned visiting the dentist after my first appt a few more times to correct 4 years of not visiting the dentist. My previous dentist sold his practice, and so I was a bit nervous about going to a new one, but I'm so glad I found Warner Center Dental Group on Yelp. From the moment I walked in, Dr. Cabrera's dental technician's (Xóchitl) welcoming demeanor put me at ease, making me feel comfortable and calm throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Cabrera's gentle approach, combined with his great manners and professionalism, left a lasting impression. He kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring I felt confident and well-informed about my dental care. What truly stood out was Dr. Cabrera's commitment to his patients; he personally performed my cleaning--a gesture that truly showcases his dedication to getting to know his clients and providing top-notch care. None of my previous dentist ever cleaned my teeth on my first visit so that they could get to know me better. Overall, my experience with Dr. Cabrera and Xóchitl surpassed all expectations. I left the office feeling not only well-cared for but also confident in that I had found a great dentist, and I felt super happy that I didn't have any cavities and didn't have to visit again until 6 months later for my next exam and dental cleaning! I highly recommend their practice to anyone seeking exceptional dental care.

Do not go here if you have any sort of medical trauma or phobias! My experience getting a cavity…read morefilled by Dr. Cabrera was traumatizing at best. The first time I met Dr. Cabrera he seemed nice, but when I went to my appointment a year later he was standoffish at best. At that appointment they found my first ever cavity, and I made an appointment to have it filled. At my filling appointment, I shared that I have a severe needle phobia and was primarily afraid of the numbing injections. I also shared that this was my first ever cavity and I was nervous for this procedure that I had never experienced before. Dr. Cabrera seemed annoyed by this, but said my cavity was small and the type that any of the office staff would have done without numbing anyway. Because of this, we decided to proceed without numbing and check in during the process to reassess. We also established a signal for Dr. Cabrera to stop his work if it was ever too much and I needed a break. This is where the problems really started. 1. Every time Dr. Cabrera stopped to ask me if I needed to be numbed he would make comments like "but we're almost done" and "it won't be much longer" in an annoyed tone that made me feel afraid to actually ask to be numbed at that point. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. We must also have different definitions of almost done, or the cavity was bigger than anticipated and he didn't communicate that to me. My partner, who has had lots of experience getting cavities filled, was in the room with me and later expressed that my cavity took much longer to drill than Dr. Cabrera seemed to be indicating. 2. This is the most egregious and the part that actually traumatized me. At the end of the drilling process, after I had used the signal for Dr. Cabrera to stop successfully multiple times, I tried to use the signal again. This time Dr. Cabrera refused to stop. He completely ignored me and just kept drilling until he was done. This is the moment I lost all remaining trust in him, and the moment I became afraid of dentists which has changed my relationship to dental care for the worse. 3. After the drilling came the actual filling. Dr. Cabrera told me this process wouldn't hurt, I would just feel sensitivity. I don't know if this was a conscious lie or if he genuinely thinks that, but that sensitivity was the exact same type of pain I had been feeling when he was drilling. I will never go back to this office again. Dr. Cabrera broke my trust, traumatized me, and forever changed my relationship to dentistry in a way that is already negatively impacting my dental health around four months later. The practice's website states "Dr. Cabrera is a compassionate and warm general dentist that prioritizes everyone's needs while providing excellent comprehensive patient care." What a joke. Dr. Cabrera, if you see this, and I hope you do, DO BETTER.
