I have always used ChemDry where ever I have lived and usually they are fantastic. I used this company back in 2021 (cost: $277) and again recently, the cost was $471 for EXACTLY the same surfaces. The job was subpar this time and didn't even look like they cleaned anything. Stains still on my sofa and the carpet still had dirty pathways. Their machine left black track marks on other surfaces that I could not remove. I live alone, have no pets and am extremely clean. I called to complain and they rescheduled to come back. And guess what? NO ONE SHOWED UP FOR MY APPOINTMENT! I didn't even get a phone call. They clearly don't care once they have your money. DO NOT USE THEM. I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. read more

WORST service I have ever used. The guy first said on the phone it was by square foot to clean my couch, then sent someone and when they arrived, told me it would be 108 and then after speaking to his boss, came back and said it was 123 and that was their minimum price. I should have told him to leave but I happened to have the day off and needed the couch cleaned. What a surprise, the couch looks like it was never cleaned. This is without a doubt the worst service I have ever used. When I called to ask for a refund, and refused to have them come back out, the guy was rude to me and made passive aggressive comments about my personality. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible experience! Don't waste your money. Pd almost $250 for basically a vacuum job and my couch smelled worse after. When I called to let the owner know, I was told that it wasn't supposed to smell better after being cleaned... really?? Finally after condescending arguing for 20 minutes, he reluctantly agreed to send someone back out. I was hoping he would come himself to see and smell my couch. The same technician came back and literally brought a spray bottle and sprayed for a few minutes, over dirt that was left from the previous " cleaning". He had been told not to talk to us or answer questions... like we were some horrible people that he was being protected from. I bought a bottle of febreeze and used my shop vac after he left and now it finally looks and smells better. I should have saved my money. Unbelievable, expensive experience. read more

Moving entails many unpleasant tasks that usually have you at the mercy of service providers. Personally I won't move into any place until it has been thoroughly cleaned. The latest acquisition, unfortunately has carpet. I haven't had carpet in 20 years.... but, here we go again. Of course I was quoted 1 price on the phone & when the service technician showed up, various prices came into play. If you want carpet cleaned under furniture it goes up $25.00 per room. Then came the 3 steps of cleaning. Of course the cheapest doesn't do much of anything & as the levels progressed, so did the prices. Personally, my problem wasn't with the various services, but that NONE were guaranteed to actually do what they were being sold to do. After paying 4× what I was expecting, I still have no guarantee that the scotch gard or stain repellent are going to work. I did visually see my carpet cleaned, that is all I am 100%sure of. The technician got upset with me as I had my bathrooms closed off. Something about the machine working easier if put on tile. If I am moving and certain rooms are off limits, that is my personal reasoning & not to be questioned in my home. The reasons are only important to me & not anybody else's business, unless they pay the bills. Unless all these guards I paid for, work exceptionally well, I would not use this company again. Time will tell. After a week, I still have 1 room that is squishy wet in 1 are. After 2 calls, I finally got a human & they said the owner would call me back, thankfully I did NOT hold my breath! Bought a fan to direct on area to dry it out. Poor way to run a business, yet all to familiar, take the money & run! What's a girl to do? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Terrible service and even worse customer service. Tech called to give his assessment of the situation - he said we had a urine stain and smell. Gave the tech the go ahead to treat the urine stain and smell on the sofa. It was not cleaned properly. Two hours later it still smelled. Seat cushions were barely treated and were not flipped over. Couch was actually worse as the urine water seeped down into the lining, springs and wood frame of the couch. We were charged more than the quote. Called the owner - Clyde - he's a condescending, rude, and arrogant man. Kept reading from his script. Would not listen nor admit to the fact that his tech told us it was a urine stain but hadn't treated it. Wanted more money to go back and treat the stain and smell. Had to throw the couch away. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - this location is an amateur cleaning company run by an amateur - total ripoff! Wish I could give zero stars! read more

I called to schedule an appointment and they earliest they had was a week out. No problem, I told them to schedule me and if there was a cancellation to please call me to schedule sooner. I called to check on a cancellation and they did not even have me scheduled!!! WILL NEVER USE THEM!!! The only thing Clyde had to say was "Have a nice day". Excellent service! Derek called before coming, arrived on time, explained what he would do and how long it would take. My carpet was seriously stained with various things from mascara to coffee and dirt. I thought I'd have to buy new carpet. When he was done it looked like new carpeting was installed! If I need carpet cleaned in the future I'll be sure to call them. I had seen a story about this company in a local neighborhood paper in 2013 and kept it in case I needed carpet cleaning. After finding out my son has allergies we chose Chem Dry to come out and do some work. Derek called us ahead of time to give us an ETA. He arrived when he said he would and went through our options.
