The Salon is clean, bright and has a positive energy. Tinna has amazing skills in color, highlights and styling. She uses a dry cutting technique that I have never had a stylist use in the past and it turns out so much nicer! It allows your hair to fall naturally and be cut and trimmed to your own personal shape and style. As a new resident to Oceanside, and someone who requires monthly hair maintenance, you can imagine how difficult it is to find a hair stylist who can maintain your hair without damaging it. As you can see from the photos, I do like to change up my color. It was important to find a stylist who understands color and who won't destroy your hair by poor use of bleaching techniques. I found Chemistry Hair Lab through my local community FB Board. I began seeing the owner, the fabulous Miss. Tina a little over a year ago. She's not only a master colorist but an amazing person! I find that the time I spend in her chair (minimum 2 hours for this gal), flies by with laughs and great conversation. She also has other master stylists! I've had the pleasure to have Priscilla work on my hair - - a true master in her trade! The vibe at the salon is also amazing! Recently remodeled salon with all update stations, right off the Pacific Coast Highway, blocks from the beach, you really get a great feeling of being part of the downtown O-Side community.
