    Vegetarian Bowl (Cooked)
    Maggie B.

I had just an okay experience with this place. I ordered takeout. For the prices, the portion sizes are quite small. I ordered the large, 3 protein poke bowl with cooked chicken, crab, and shrimp. I expected the bowl itself to be larger. Also, they were very stingy with the meat and there were only a few small pieces of each protein in the dish. I also got the vegetarian poke bowl. The zoodles were better than I expected. They are very thinly sliced and you truly feel like you are eating a pasta-based noodle instead of a vegetable. The ponzu sauce included was also pretty tasty but they added too much of it so the bottom ingredients in the bowl were overly drenched. This caused the tofu in particular to become too mushy. The veggies tasted pretty fresh but once again, it was a small portion and not completely satisfying. The large bowls had a lot of customization options and toppings included but there was no customization offered for the signature bowls. They also did not offer extra sauce. I would've really enjoyed some spicy mayo with my veggie bowl. Overall this place is not the worst but it's not great value for money.

I was staying at the Residence Inn nearby recently and it was pouring outside. The restaurant attached to the hotel was closed, so I jumped on Yelp and found Chen's Poke. I actually ordered via Yelp and had it delivered. The food arrived so quickly via grub hub that it was almost freaky. But that was great since I was really hungry. The seaweed salad was a very generous portion and the Seafood Harvest bowl was also quite large. The flavors and textures in the poke bowl were very good - a nice mix of spice, savory, sweet, crunchy, and soft. Ingredients were fresh. While it's not the best poke I've ever had, I'd certainly try it again sometime.

I had been eyeing Chen's Poke since I saw signs for its impending opening. While I'm not a poke connoisseur by any means, I've always been meaning to try it out. When I received a mailer the other day at work advertising its opening and it's menu, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try them out for lunch. Chen's sits on Main Street pretty much in the heart of downtown White Plains. The interior looks great - very modern and clean with a lot of light colors which makes the entire aesthetic nice and bright. The menu isn't too large - there's a small section of soup and salads, then the bowls. They have some pre-made varieties plus the option to build your own which was nice to see. I wasn't feeling creative or in the mood for anything raw so I went with their Hawaii Bowl. This contained shrimp, chicken, tofu, onion, cabbage, sesame seeds, edamame, pineapple, ginger sauce, spicy mayo, crispy onions, and wonton chips. I also got to choose what to put underneath, so I chose brown rice. The bowl was pretty good - the portion was large which was nice to see, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The only slight disappointment was with the sauces - I couldn't really see (or taste) the ginger sauce, and the spicy mayo didn't bring any heat to the bowl. I also decided to try their miso soup - it had good flavor which was a nice surprise seeing that miso soup (in my experience at least) is usually kind of bland. Overall, I was impressed with Chen's Poke. While I thought they could have brought the flavors a bit more in the sauces, I was happy with my bowl overall. They're tapping into a previously unexplored cuisine here in White Plains, and I look forward to my next visit to explore more of their menu.

Amazing, new place!!! I got done with a long run (marathon training), and I was craving a salad. I looked up new places in my area and this came up! So glad I came here! It's convenient to get to, clean, cozy and super nice! I ordered the Dragon Bowl - and, it was so, so good!!! So many flavors and it was so fresh. Shrimp, avocado, seaweed chips, beans, pineapple, etc. - so many fresh flavors, crispy and chewy. I loved it! I would definitely order this again! I'm so glad this place is open near me now!! I'll definitely be back soon! They're also giving 10% off for their grand opening!

The restaurant is clean, efficient and has many selections for proteins. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the sauces are homemade and have an original taste.

Tried new Poké place, C En's POKÈ in White Plains. The restaurant has one large communal table with a few chairs as well as two counters and stools for additional seating. One counter lines the window facing Main Street and the other along a side wall. Both counters are.seriously high for the seats provided so eating at the counter is borderline hilarious. Unless you are very tall, you can't reach your food comfortably. I photographed my bowl on the chair and when I went to lift it one chopstick caught underneath the counter so 1/4 of my dish either landed on my lap or on the floor. We ate with the plastic bowls on our laps. I selected an already designed bowl; The Rainbow bowl: ahi tuna, salmon, yellow tail, green onion, red peppers, cabbage, edamame, cucumbers mixed with Wasabi dressing topped with Sweet Chili, Masago, sesame seeds and wonton chips which was good. I don't like to compare, but I will as my other experience eating Poke in Scarsdale at Bango Bowls was better on both occasions. Nothing against C'ens but even with the loss of poke spilled (totally my fault) the bowls at Bango are more substantial. You get more fish, veggies and condiments. Based on logistics, one being closer to my house and the other closer to work I'd probably stick with Bango when I had a craving for poke. If one does ever have a craving for poke? Sushi, yeah -- poke not so sure?? Prices seem similar at both places and happily both served fresh fish. At C En's you have an option of mixed greens or zucchini noodles in addition to white or brown rice as your base where Bango your options are white or brown rice, and quinoa. Both have many options to build your own.

Tasty poke at a good price. I visited for lunch and the location was clean, hand sanitizer was available, and all of the food looked fresh. You're able to make your own bowl for about $13 and they have great variety. The decor was also very inviting but I wasn't able to dine-in due to Covid. Overall, great spot to grab a quick lunch. I'd come back.

Been waiting a long time to come here. Never see anyone inside so I was reluctant. I got the tuna liver and it was decent could of used more sauce. The experience was ruined by the employee who seamed annoyed we were bothering him from his phone. We would ask a question about a flavor sauce and he would just add it to the bowl, ruining it. Sad a disgruntled employee ruined it for us and now they missed out on the company Christmas party we were going to do! Don't expect it to be around much longer looks like there hemorrhaging for being so desolate .

I've been trying to find a good poke spot in Westchester for a while now. Hands down, Chen's Poke is the best option! From the variety of options to the quantity to the freshness, this spot knows what's up. However, I wish that the inside area was more welcoming for dine in customers. The vast majority of their business is from take out orders so the sitting area isn't too inviting. In terms of the food, Chen's gets five stars!!! The only reason I have deducted one star is because despite the indoor seating, it's basically designed to be take out only. Go here!!!! It will not disappoint!!!!

I ate everything because I was satisfied.

I came here at 2pm during the week and it was quiet. I Just started Keto (again). So this place has what is necessary. Sushi and sashimi, salad stuff and zucchini noodles. The zucchini noodles worked for the bowl I ordered - they had a soft texture that was pleasing. I ordered the Miso soup. It was satisfying. It's a simple idea - some protein and healthy carbs or veggies with flavors. This will be a regular place for my lunches, and occasionally when I want a light dinner as well. It is not Nobu, but a great addition. Happy it's here.

I've been watching it be built ever since I saw the sign. It is a small chain place, but the options are pretty good. They have one signature vegan bowl called The Vegetarian, but you can easily make your own bowl. There are many vegan options for topping your tofu. All the base options are vegan as well. They have a few mayo sauces but it clearly says it's mayo so there is no confusion there to know what is vegan or not. For my bowl, I got organic brown rice as the base with their cooked organic tofu with jalapeños, cilantro, green onion, ginger sauce, furikake, and onion crisps. All of the add-ins are very flavorful up to you, so it's about how you like your tofu flavored in a bowl. I went here right after the gym, so it was very nice post-workout lunch. I would definitely come here again if I'm in the mood for something more healthy and Asian/Hawaiian while in White Plains. Give them a try!

So happy we stumbled upon this place. Everything is so cleannnnnn !!! The signature seafood bowl is amazing and there's so many options to choose from . I would say it's a bit expensive, two bowls, two drinks $40 but you get your money's worth. Can't wait to stop by again to try something néw .

Really enjoyed this place. Use to work in white plains, and never stopped here. If you're ever in the mall and want a healthy pick up, with some great flavors. This is the place. Everything tasted really well, and blended together nicely on the palates.

What an unexpected bright spot in my day!…read more I stopped by Pokemoto and ordered the Signature Hawaiian bowl along with mac salad, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. As someone who spent two months in Hawaii, I have a soft spot for Hawaiian-inspired food, and this meal definitely brought back some great memories. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. I brought my laptop and spent some time working while I ate, and the vibe was perfect--comfortable, clean, and inviting. The owner was especially kind and made everyone feel welcome. You can tell there's genuine care behind both the food and the customer experience. One of my favorite surprises was the complimentary Dole Whip-style frozen pineapple dessert. I wasn't expecting it, and it instantly transported me back to the Dole Plantation in Hawaii. It was the perfect sweet finish to a delicious meal. The decor was cheerful, the staff was friendly, and the food was fresh, light, and full of flavor. I also appreciate that there are plenty of options for those looking for gluten-friendly choices. I'm not from the area, but this is absolutely a place I'd return to. Great food, great people, and a genuinely positive experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This place felt a bit gloomy and down but either way I came in for a smoothie as I was in between work and needed a quick pick me upper that wouldn't take too much time and would feel me up. I ordered a Bango Boss with banana, flax seed, peanut butter, chocolate protein and almond milk. Loved that I was able to customize the chocolate protein and milk for a plant based one. I do wish it was slightly more chocolatey and you could also taste the peanut butter. Other than that great spot to get a smoothie or açaí bowl if you're in Scarsdale. Oh Yelp, how lucky I am. How lucky I always am. How lucky I was to stumble upon Hawaii Japanese Cuisine on the ever industrious Warburton Ave. Saturday Farmers Market. Meredith's Bakery. Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bread. If you know you know. Anyways. Out in Waikiki I learned to appreciate Poke. I once appreciated Pokemon. What's Politoed up to these days. Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly depending on your grasp of history, Poke is actually a Hawaiian dish. Japanese inspired, of course, but that's why the name of this spot is quite unique (although not catchy). Catch of the day. Rack of the day. So how'd I get here? You ask? ASK ME. Fine! I'll answer. Calm down, needy much? I'm an active guy. I participate in activities. Typically solo, I'm riding solo I'm riding solo solooooo. Man, just imagine walking down the city streets with a Walkman in blasting Les Miz. The dream. Anyways. I just got back from the island life and I was craving some fresh fish, at a sizable size with some balance of fruit, veggies, sauce and quantity for a beautiful price. The bulldogs. Grrrrrr. I just ran myself into the ground. Sprints for about an hour. Bad hammy. Few months later tore the calf while calfmaxxing. Probably related. First muscle injury in a spinning dixie, gotta have muscles to injure them? Not really but that's what I'll tell myself. So I rip the farmers market. Then I rip the soosh spot, ordered online. Walked in, handsomely. Very friendly and respectful and nice staff and have been everytime I've gone since. The weight of the food in hand was ridonk so I was optimistic. I also got a few desserts down the road. Some hardbody that was completely eyeing down my grass-fed grass-finished hog at the track was somehow now across the street drinking a protein smoothie.
