This has been a longstanding lunch place for me, and it's consistently great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They recently did some dining room updates and it looks just lovely! Very chic, very stylish![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is mostly wonderful, with an exception or two, who should be weeded out simply based on poor interpersonal skills. The young female servers are excellent and are friendly, welcoming and efficient! The food is very good- both fresh and tasty. The prices are fair and the portions are mostly generous. The lunch specials menu (as well as their happy hour at the bar) is a great value and overall, this is a wonderful place everyone should try!

This place never disappoints. My family and I were in the mood for Ramen. As usual, the food and service were stellar. What a great pleasure having this restaurant close to home

It was delightful I left full and happy, yellowtail sushi was fresh and tasty also had the chicken dumplings fried, i think its a crave though right now .

Lunch Two Rolls Special - it had 5 sweet potato pieces but I was too hungry :) All delicious!

I ordered the lunch special with tuna avocado sushi and sweet potato sushi. Something told me that the sweet potato roll was going to be good and it was! Crunchy sweet potato tempura sushi with a soy glaze on top. It was just what I needed to balance the tuna avocado sushi. I love simple sushi and the tuna was really good! The lunch special is also available on Saturdays and includes a soup or salad. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and in the mood for sushi.

Crazy Tuna Roll (without wasabi mayo), Manhattan Roll, passion roll, and lobster king roll. Loved them all!

My friends and I arrived on a weekday evening around 7, and the restaurant was pretty full. We luckily were seated pretty quickly at a booth. The menu is pretty large! Overall, we liked our food. Solid sushi for Westchester. Quick, nice wait staff. The space feels a bit trendy, and there were a variety of patrons. We really liked the orange cauliflower. We were surprisingly blown away. We also liked the four rolls we got. The passion roll was probably our favorite, but we also liked crazy tuna and Manhattan. I had two great cocktails, one was more tropical, and one had Toki whisky. I forget their names, but I liked the one with Toki more.

Fish was fresh and tasty, they had a good selection of rolls. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was clean and the waiters were attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They added eel sauce to a sweet potato roll which was not asked for but they happily remade it when we explained we did not eat eel sauce ( and they let us keep the original roll which others at the table ate)

Kumo is our go-to spot, where it doesn't break the bank like other sushi restaurants. This is a good quality sushi that will satisfy your craving or if you simply enjoy sushi. We loved this establishment from the first time but the down side was the service as he was non existent. This time around I had low expectations cause it was V-day and pretty busy. But the server (he could be the same one from previous) exceed my expectation in which he was attentive and elevated our experience there. Okay, onto the food and that we had a full course meal; Miso soup for the crisp weather, and shrimp shumai. Our personal favorite sushi rolls: Salmon Skin and Spider roll, Philadelphia roll, and Salmon&Avocado Roll. I highly recommend the Spider Roll cause the soft shell crab was fried to perfection Side note: they do offer gluten free soy sauce and what's not pictured is fried rice made with that soy sauce on request.

The ambiance is chic and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxing brunch with friends or family. The service was excellent throughout our meal--attentive, friendly, and quick to keep the mimosas flowing. The food selection was impressive, with multiple buffet tables offering a huge variety of breakfast and lunch options. There was a made-to-order omelet station, and at the same station chef was slicing prime rib to order. My favorites were definitely the omelet station, the perfectly cooked prime rib, and the jumbo shrimp cocktail. In addition to the made-to-order omlelet station, there were plenty of salads, cold cuts, cheese, smoked salmon (delicious) and hot breakfast favorites. Bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict. There was a hot lunch selections with chicken parm, a beef dish, grilled salmon. A large variety of sweets were also displayed. The pastries were especially impressive. The tiramisu was rich and delicious, and the Napoleon was absolutely outstanding--both are must-tries if you save room for dessert. If you're looking for a brunch with a wide variety of quality food, great service, unlimited mimosas, and a beautiful atmosphere. NOTE: Gigante's at $50 pp is definitely worth a visit. Venue Lounge is located in the Royal Regency Hotel in Yonkers, and to get to Venue, you use the hotel's main entrance. Once you get to Venue- you pretty much can sit anywhere you like. It's a nice looking and spacious lounge. Salsa lessons from 8-9 on Thursdays and Ladies drink for free during that time. Venue has a full bar and no cocktail menu. Pop music, pops of black on the walls, TV screens behind and above the bar- so that almost every seat has a good view, a noticeable bar and those wood-slab walls. You know the look. The last time hubs and I were in this space was about 10 yrs ago, when it was Sammy's, so walking into Urban H. and getting hit with their urban-industrial-sports bar feel caught me a little off guard. No offense. Since hubs and I are getting settled into our other home in Westchester, dining out has been our friend. The young ladies here did well. From the moment we walked in until we headed out, everyone was pleasant, welcoming and attentive. We started with the calamari which was tender. Like really tender. Not a rubber band in sight. But where were the tentacles?! Those crispy little tangled things are half the reason hubs and I order calamari and sadly, there wasn't even one. Hubs went with a canned hard lemonade. It was refreshing but it was missing at least a little oomph especially if it's called "hard lemonade". My salmon dinner was beautifully prepared on parsnip puree with sautéed broccoli rabe and a pomegranate sauce. I totally get my dish was going for that savory/sweet mix- but that pomegranate sauce kind of sent my dinner slightly off keel for me. Hubs, loved his pork chop though with sautéed spinach and...white rice.¯\(ツ)/¯. We ordered the "mango" sorbet but it tasted more like lemon and it you had blindfolded me and asked me to tell you the flavor, mango would not have made my first guess. Honestly- Urban H. has more swagger than quiet, screens and a pop playlist that wants you to know it's there. But the service was super pleasant.
