Here are a couple of things I've learned in getting the good result: 1. Be patient. I had to wait two and a half months to see Dr. Elbert for my initial consultation. He is overbooked. However, patience is not trivial when it comes to procedures, no matter how small. A top-notch surgeon is worth waiting for. 2. Be forthright. Tell the doctor exactly what you expect and do not withhold any medical history which is critical to your doctor's decision making; a plastic surgeon is not a mind reader. 3. Attitude. Strictly follow the doctor's pre- and post-op instructions, and relax. Let Dr. Elbert do his magic and trust him; you will most likely be amazed by the transformation. I start to know Dr J and her stuff since 2020 when I did thermage. I remember at our first meet I was impressed by her passion about her job. Then I continue come to this place for lots of other things, like PRP, aqua gold, botox, filler, rhinoplasty and thread lifting. Rhinoplasty and thread lifting are the two biggest things I have ever done to my face and I'm very very happy with the result. My nose only bled tiny bit after surgery and the cut outside was so well done that it healed so well. The nose took at least a year to settle down on the final look which Dr J was clear about the long healing process since the beginning. The thread lifting was expected to have some bruise/swelling as communicated by Dr J so there was no surprise. And it brought amazing result on me, the big lift and shiny smooth texture of the skin. I feel so grateful that I found Nurse Teresa! I had some nanobladed brows that were turning an unsightly shade of gray blue and even after several sessions of saline removal (which did help and my person was amazing), they weren't getting any lighter. I was afraid to go the laser route since you hear all these horror stories about how painful and traumatizing it is, but Teresa was such a pro! She's super knowledgeable and was answered all my questions during our consultation. I had concerns about the laser taking off my hair, its effect on Asian skin, etc. and she was so lovely to take the time to explain it all and address my fears. I opted for the 3 session package, and it was exactly what I needed. The process itself was quick. No numbing, just a few zaps to the brows and you're good to go. It's not too painful, felt like having a rubber band snap against you. I was actually surprised that the healing process was so easy, so much easier the saline removal recovery process. I wish I had done this sooner! In about 24-48 hours, you could barely tell I had been zapped, just a bit of tenderness and redness. Aftercare was really easy. I didn't have any scabbing or peeling. I waited about 6-8 weeks in between sessions. For me, this took from April to September. The first session gave the most dramatic results. It came out a bit peachy, but easy to cover up with a bit of concealer. The second session took care of some of the peachy color and yielded to a light pinkish color, this was hardly noticeable. The third session took care of the pinkish color, and now I can barely see a it at all. Teresa said they will continue to fade. I could have done one more session, but, honestly, it's not noticeable at all. I am super happy with the results and huge thanks to Teresa and the lovely staff! I can't recommend Teresa highly enough if you're looking to get rid of your microbladed brows! read more
