Throughout the process of straightening out my sons teeth, all of the staff have been informative, helpful, supportive, and patient. When we lost a retainer, they were quick to get a replacement made and delivered. We've not waited long at all after checking in for appointments and they have been efficient in getting us in and out. Dr. Bordador has been friendly, helpful and while he works quickly no one is ever rushed. However I wish to highlight the efforts made by Ruben during our last visit. Due to a family need we had missed a duel appointment in November to remove my sons braces and get him set up with a retainer. This caused us to have to reschedule an appointment to come in, have him checked and prepared for another set of appointments to remove the braces and get a retainer. On the phone, I was advised that we would need to set up three different appointments. However, when we got into our first of the 3 appointments. Ruben advised me that he can go ahead and remove the braces today. He then advised me that it would take a few hours to make a retainer and we could come back in the afternoon to pick it up. Because I wanted my sons braces remember this appealed to me, but this has been a surprise and I was not prepared for the timing of it. I had to be to work that night and had just gotten off work earlier that morning so spending a day removing braces and killing time 18 miles from my home and my bed was not something I was looking forward to. After expressing this to Ruben, he Took a look at his schedule and his capabilities and advised that if I could give him about an hour he could adjust his workload to get the retainer made for my son. This was a welcomed relief to my schedule and fuel tank, and my son was so happy to get his braces removed. Ruben did a great job with the work and was so helpful. Dr. Bordador was also great in working with this because I'm sure he probably needed Ruben in 5 different places throughout this hour. About 8 months ago I decided to try out a dentist in Oregon for the 3rd or 4th time because a friend recommended a "high-end" dentist, and I finally had dental insurance. I was genuinely hopeful because as much as I love Dr. I and his team, I would love to have a dentist that I don't have to take a flight to get to, lol. Anyway, I have finally accepted that I will always come to Vegas/Henderson to see Dr. I & team for all my dental needs. After getting one crown and two HUGE fillings (that looked horrible because they also should have been crowns) on my bottom right, back three molars, at the Oregon dentist, I noticed a small, dark spot on the inside of one of the molars he had done a filling on. I asked him if it was a cavity, and he essentially said "no, it's not decay" it's just discoloration. Within a few months, the fillings he did on the molars began to wear down significantly leaving a sharp, jagged edge on the inside of the two molars. Fortunately, I was back in southern Nevada for a few months so decided to make an appointment with Dr. I. After an exam and new x-rays, Dr. I confirmed what I thought, that the small dark spot was in-fact a cavity, and that the two molars did need crowns. I was frustrated that the Oregon dentist had done such a terrible job, even though Dr. I was so professional and wouldn't say anything negative about the other dentist, I could tell he was as shocked as I was about the dental work that had been done, which was very validating. Dr. I's team was able to schedule me in very quickly for both the crown prep and crown placement. ALL of his staff are wonderful as well! Maria, one of his amazing office staff, gave me information about a dental discount program that saved me even more money on top of Dr. I's incredibly reasonable prices. I genuinely don't know how Dr. I is able to offer such reasonable prices with such a high level of expertise and patient care without having to schedule years in advance. I'm sorry this review is so long, but I can't recommend him and his team enough, especially if you suffer from dental anxiety and/or need extensive dental work as I did when I started coming to him almost 10 years ago. I've had weak, decay-prone teeth since I was a little girl so having a dentist who has been able to help me overcome all of that past dental-related trauma has been such a blessing. I needed a new bottom retainer and my dentist told me it would be $150. I remembered I had gotten new retainers at Roseman so I called and made an appointment. Scheduling was easy and quick. I had my appointment yesterday where they did the scan and I found out they make the retainers there in the lab now and I'll have my new retainer next week! I only need the bottom retainer and it's $50! So I bought 2! There's a $50 office visit/scanning fee. So for $150 I had my visit plus 2 retainers! The office and exam area are clean and bright. Everyone is great! If you are thinking about straightening your chompers definitely consider Roseman! Save some money and have a great smile!
