I am never going back!! I went in for a routine check up and it was recommended that I get all of my silver filling removed and replaced with white fillings. I had half of my mouth done 1 day and the other half the following day. There was one tooth that was extra sensitive and I explained that to the doctor while he was working on me. He just kept giving me numbing shots and never fixed it. We finally got one side done but that sensitive tooth just didn't feel right. I went back the next day and it fell out right there in the office. Incredible pain trying to fix it. The assistant showed compassion for me but the doctor did not seem to care. He just kept giving me more shots. At this point I was crying until it was finished and all the way home. My teeth still feel resistive and all my back teeth feel jagged like they didn't smooth out the fillings. I can already tell this work isn't going to last due to the sensitivity of my teeth now. Well of course times have changed and prices are High!! but the modern digs and xray technology brought me to looking deep inside my toof issues. Then when the day comes they will call and cancel your appointment because they didn't do their due diligence with your insurance. Dr.Cardinale is a fabulous endodontic specialist who took care of my chipped upper left back molar by performing a root canal. Dr. Cressman is an excellent dentist who saw me due to the pain I was having. After X-rays and an exam, he diagnosed me with an infection and prescribed amoxicillin before my seeding appointment, where a temporary crown was placed. These procedures and initial exam occurred over three appointments, plus a walk in to check on the inflammation I was having in between appointments. The next appointment I have is for the placement of the porcelain crown. The ladies that work behind the front counter are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The dental assistants and technicians are kind, understanding. Prices are reasonable and affordable. The dental practice is clean, modern, organized, and brightly lit. It has an aesthetic appeal. This is the best dental practice I've been to since relocating from Phoenix to Henderson nearly three years ago. Thank you, Gentle Dental; you live up to your name. read more

I called on a Friday, and they were able to schedule me for Monday, which i thought was very fast! I would avoid. They did a good cleaning but a little rough, recommended 4 crowns, hahaha. My uncle is a dentist, told me to run away as fast as I could. Went to another dentist, 3 fillings and bunch of money left in my pocket. Dr. Cressman spoke in a pleasant manner but the course of treatment is money/profit oriented. They did an impression and the weirdo guy doing it, a staffer, kept playing with my lips. It was super super creepy. I've had impressions 3-4 times and this was weird. For this alone I would never ever ever return. This was the actual worst part of the visit. Found out about the ripoff later. 1800 saved think I saved my insurance company 3.5k. The xrays, cleaning and impression took 6 hours, that seemed long, ate up an entire day. They said sorry, did the impressions for a whiting kit for free, the kit was 1/2 used but free. *creepy guy plays with yours lips*. Not for me read more

Scheduled an appointment. X-rays done, all good. Then they tried to do the deep clean scam. Said needed 2 deep visits at $250.00 each. Said no thank you, just do the regular cleaning. I had to walk out and leave, the orthodontist is never, and I mean never on time. I have been going here for 4 years because I had a contract with this location. 20 minutes after I left I get a call "are you coming back? It would have been nice if you told us you were leaving" and hung up .no apology, no explanation, nothing. Yeah well I didn't feel like waiting 5 minutes for the staff to finish talking to make my exit known. You guys expect the utmost patience yet can't even provide efficient service. 12pm and 11am are very different appointment times, time is precious and valuable, and some of us have clients of our own we have to be there for. How you treat people's time, matters. Some of us have to work and be places on time, if my appt is at 11am and it's 11:55am and I'm still in the chair waiting for you, and all you have to do is look at my retainer, what is the excuse? Why are you asking me "do you have somewhere to be?" Is that going to dictate if the orthodontist has her visit with me on time? If I'm busy or not? I've worked with this location since the beginning, even using my own PTO to make sure I can fit their orthodontists schedule, but she can't see me on time or even advise me of how much of a delay I can expect. It's arrogant behavior. I'm not coming back here, there are plenty of highly rated dentists who have weekend appts. I have had several negative appt experiences with this location but don't care to even go into detail anymore. It is what it is. read more

They charged us for improper treatments. The staff had charged a MINOR for ADULT treatments. The dental "specialist"/doctor didn't introduce himself or speak to us yet proceeded to diagnose 5 cavities without thorough inspection. Later on, there were no cavities to be found. I visit, gentle dental, I advised in writing, as well as a verbal communication how I felt about procedures and the noises. I had to have an extraction done and also a cleaning. The hygienist was amazing. She let me listen to my headphones, so I didn't have to hear the scraping noise and the suction noise but when it came time for the extraction, the dentist would not allow me to plug my ears so I had to listen to the sound of my tooth being broke off, my jawbone. I'm supposed to go back for a root canal, but I have to check for a different dentist. Either this Dentist is going to allow me to wear my headphones for my comfort during the procedure or I'm gonna need another dentist. read more

The staff here is very pleasant. However, I came in for a routine cleaning and the dental hygienist who worked on me was extremely rough the entire time. I had to ask her to rinse out my mouth multiple times because I could taste blood from her scraping at my gum lines. Mind you I have never had a cavity and routinely go in for cleanings, so there was no need to be so forceful. When I left, I had dried blood splatter on my face that she missed when we were done. Cancelling appointments for a follow up for an unfinished procedure so many times that they have to do it again, messing up a root canal so badly other dentists don't want to touch it. So much more. If I could give zero stars I would. There are so many problems I don't know where to start. From appointments cancelled last minute to waiting 3 hours for my appointment... messed up charges for insurance, overcharges to my insurance and to me. Then, my significant other goes in for a checkup, gets told she needs a root canal, they get halfway through and are not paying attention making jokes with each other and half choke her when they drop and instrument down her throat. They gave her anesthesia then make her wait to long so it wears off half way through the procedure, they give her more and make her wait too long again and it wears off again, they give her more and it's been going on for so long at this point, her jaw gets stuck open and everyone starts panicking and the assistant literally jumps on top of her and tries to force her mouth closed. Finally they fix the jaw issue. At this time they said that they were closing and would have to finish it another day. They give leave her with a half done root canal and said "you'll be in a lot of pain and should take pain medication but unfortunately the doctor that can prescribe it already went home for the weekend but she could come in Monday and they would write a prescription for morpheme. She argued with them a bit and the lady recommended that she by some drugs from a friend or something to hold her over and she is sorry she forgot to ask the doctor for the prescription before she left for the weekend. They said they would schedule her to get it done the next week. Next week arrives, they say sorry the doctor got in a car accident and wont be available for a month. She asked to see another and they said no one else was available at that location but referred her to another location that could finish it. So she takes the appointment. The day of she takes another day off of work, drives 20 miles to the other location and they say, sorry the doctor refuses to finish that since he didn't start it and no doctor will, you have to see the original doctor but sorry she fell and hurt her finger so she's out for a month. So someone is lying as they said she was in a car accident. Also, they still refused to write her a prescription for pain meds because they aren't her doctor. When asked why they didn't call and tell her that, they said the other office gave them the wrong phone number and they couldn't get a hold of me. Absolutely a lie, they have my correct number, I checked. Now she has a temporary crown, she is in pain and no doctor will touch her tooth as it is in the middle of a procedure. We don't know what to do and no one will help us. It's terrible and THEY DON'T CARE AT ALL. They just look at you like you are the one inconveniencing them. The sad thing is a few years ago Gentle Dental was the best in town and I told everyone about them. They have steadily declined. read more

The service was terrible. Waited in a room for almost 2 hours for an appt. After all that they just referred me out to get my tooth extracted. Makes sense understandable. I let the front desk person know my availability and it didn't match up with the surgeons schedule so she got an attitude and told me to call them myself. Understandable again minus the attitude. Next, I work something out with the referred surgeon to get an appointment the next day. Cool, all they ask is I bring a x-ray from Gentle dental, Simple enough right? So imagine you call a professional business to request a copy of your x-rays needed and the first that said to you is "Please hold" and you agree to hold, perfectly okay. Waited a minute or two listening to the waiting music on the phone, then the front desk person comes back on the phone with an attitude and goes "Can you please hold... again", okay this time i'm a little confused on the attitude but everyone gets busy at their jobs, understandable. Waited another minute or two listening to the phone music on hold, then the front desk person comes back onto the phone screaming and this is verbatim "You know if you keep hanging up and calling back imma just keep putting you on hold and if you keep doing that I'm going to just hang up on you cause i'm working up here by myself, so again please hold!". So then I get placed on hold. Unfortunately for me I'm forced to wait a few more minutes cause I need to request these x-rays to pick up cause it's within the next hour of them closing and I needed those x-rays to go to the appt for tomorrow morning. So eventually she picks up again and goes "what". I say want I need and she listens then goes just come by and pick them up then hangs up the phone abruptly. I get to the place that is so busy to her just talking with the other coworkers in the back about stuff definitely unrelated to office stuff or dental stuff. Just the worst all around. Terrible at communicating with Patients especially regarding billing. They say they will call you back but they never do. You will always get a bill in the mail no matter what they tell you your balance is. Expect to pay at least $200 more than what they quote you. 1 star rating because of the ridiculously long wait time. My husbands appointment was at 830. He arrived early at 815. He was shown to the exam room at 840 and has been waiting since the time I'm writing this review. 1015 am. Staff has not been communicating well enough and only keep saying the doctor be right with you. I understand offices get busy but the appointments should be better scheduled to Avoid inconveniences to the customer and at least TRY to provide somewhat good service. I really don't like going to the dentist but this time I had no choice. I was having tooth aches. My cap came off. I'm so glad found Gentle Dental, they were all nice and didn't treat me like a number they were gentle and took their time. From the exray tech to my hygienist to the doctor and his assistant, even the billing clerk was nice. I love that I didn't even feel the initial shot. I definitely recommend this dentist. read more
