General tsos chicken... I'm in love. Just order it!! :)

Best Chinese food I've found since moving here! Affordable. LOTS of food for your money. And TASTEY. I'm a fan. I was at my friends house on Tidewater and searched Chinese food near me.. this one was like a half mile down the road. Reviews looks decent so I wanted to try it out... Some of the reviews stents super great but I don't really see why. The staff is also friendly and quick! My food was ready within twenty or so minutes which is awesome. My husband and I tried the garlic pork, general Tsos chicken, the white rice, and chicken lo mein (the noodles). The general tsos was so amazing. Full of flavor. Different than I've had previously BUT it reminds me of the garlic chicken I was in love with back home in California. I'm not disappointed. My husband loved the pork but there are lots of vegetables snd we both were unaware that it came with any at all. Online ordering didn't specify that. The lo mein is tastey snd a big portion. Noodles are a little softer than I've had before. Maybe that's just a preference for me. My husband loved it and I did definitely still enjoy it. I highly recommend d you stop at Chen's Kitchen in your next Chinese takeout adventure!

I don't know how I missed this place. I was a lifelong Sun Wah customer, so when they closed I was a mess. I haven't had Chinese food in so long until the other day. I was weary about giving this place a chance due to the reviews, but I'm glad I did. The service was good and I loved my shrimp fried rice, shrimp egg fu yung, vegetable egg roll, & lemonade. I was happy with it and so was my family. I am happy I gave them a chance. No one beats Sun Wah (in my opinion), but they are definitely my next choice.

Nice lil corner restaurant with good food best chicken teriyaki ive had in a long time

One of my favorite places to grab a quick tasty lunch when I'm in the area. Pancit, wings and crab rangoon's are great.

I dropped my wallet there once and they stalked me to make sure that I got it back - Much appreciated! Oh, and the food is amazing. I've only been to the Chesapeake location, and I love their food, so this was my first time trying the food at the VB location. I was quickly greeted as soon as I walked in and was seated right away. I loved the clean and modern decor of the restaurant. My server was super friendly and brought over the menu. I knew I wanted the Wonton in Hot Chili Oil but I also wanted to try the Dan-Dan Noodles here, because I wasn't a fan of them at the other location, so I ordered both of those along with Salt & Peppered Prawns. The food was served fairly quickly. I started with the Wontons but there was something in the chili oil that made my mouth extremely tingly and numb. I normally get a slight tingly feeling when I eat them but this was intense. I couldn't even finish it. The Dan-Dan Noodles were incredible though! They had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The Salt & Peppered Prawns were good, but I probably won't order them again. The flavors were great but the seasoning is only on the shells. I found myself rubbing the de-shelled shrimp on the seasoned shells to give them some flavor. I did attempt to eat them with the shells on but I wasn't a fan. You really can't go wrong at Judy's! The staff were incredible and the food is good!!! I still prefer the Chesapeake location but I'm glad I was able to stop in and try the food out at this location as well.

My Husband's Food Review : Beef Mongolian Noodles -- 4/5…read more The noodles are freshly made with every order, and you can literally watch the man through the glass forming them by hand from the dough. The noodles were tender with a nice, bouncy texture. The sauce had a good balance of salty and sweet, and the beef was tender and flavorful. Jalapeño Chicken Noodles -- 5/5 The jalapeño peppers added a great crunch and paired really well with the texture of the noodles. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was light enough to let all the flavors come through. Definitely a favorite! Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings -- 5/5 The wings were cooked to perfection--crispy, crunchy, and well coated with seasoning. The crispiness paired really well with the overall dish, and every bite had great flavor. Beef Pancakes -- 2/5 This was basically like a hand-held burger stuffed inside crispy dough. The onions added a nice flavor to the beef, and the chili oil on the table paired really well with it. However, I think it would have been much better if the beef had been mixed with a sweet soy sauce for a little more flavor and balance.

We wanted to get the egg rolls as I was craving it, but they said they do not have it despite being on the menu. That was a little disappointing. I got the 6 steamed dumpling, and when my husband chewed down there was bone chunks in the dumpling. We got the sesame chicken which mostly tasted like orange chicken with a little more soy sauce and a little less orange. It was tasty, but again the price for what it was did not match. The honey roasted duck was tasty with a savory thick sauce to dip. We got white rice with our dishes. My husband asked for chopsticks, and there were none which was surprising. The fortune cookie at the end was stale, and my fortune was kind of a hilarious demand to be vegetarian/vegan. The service was decent. The ambiance lighting was very red in color, making it feel dark on the inside. It is awkwardly quiet with loud clinking. One of the light fixtures was broken. Overall, food was just okay, and the pricing did not feel appropriate for what was served.
