I ate unknowingly until I discovered BLACK SLUDGE on the container and inside the rice as well as a long piece of string or hair! They refused to refund me because I ate my chicken before I realized my food was contaminated and accused me of planting the hair and didn't acknowledge the sludge. (I am African American with locs) They argued and were so insanely rude, raising his voice and being defensive. This "hole in the wall" place has excellent food. Fresh and tasty every time. Best fried wontons ever.

We needed something quick for dinner. So i went online and ordered delivery from Fu Hing. Everything was pretty easy and i like that you can pay in cash when they deliver. It took about 30 minutes and our food was hot when we got it. We ordered Hot and Juicy Shrimp and i paid extra for vegetable fried rice, mooshu pork, egg rolls, shrimp lo mein, crispy noodles, and fried chicken wings. The mooshu pork was mainly cabbage and whatever other veggies were in it with tiny pieces of pork strips. The pancakes that were supposed to go with it was uncooked lumpia wrappers... Lol. They did absolutely nothing to them..Thats just weird.. The plum sauce was thick and didn't taste good at all. Its sincerely not what i expected. The hot and juicy shrimp was good with a tasty sauce and vegetables. The fried rice was dry but had a good amount of veggies, i added sauce from my shrimp to help it out.. The lo mein is normally a decent portion but it was just a small amount this time. The egg rolls could use more meat. Its like a scavenger hunt because i only saw cabbage. Its pretty average i guess. The wings were also ok. I will say theres alot of sodium in the food, when i woke up i felt dry inside... So drink alot of water if your gonna eat this. It wasn't the worst or the best. This is generic Virginia Beach Chinese food. I got the orange tofu, and it's mediocre, at best. It has a weird flavor to it that I've never had before, but it'll do for my night time Chinese craving. I saw another reviewer post about the inside smelling like moth balls, and that is correct. It's overwhelming. But it's clean, or so it appears. I probably will continue to come here for as long as I live in this area, but I'm so sad it's not that great. read more

Went here on 1/11/2019, while waiting to pick up some meds at Rite-Aid down the road. Ordered a lunch special of General Tso's chicken, with pork fried rice and some egg drop soup. I get the same thing every time because I'm boring as hell and have no imagination. The chicken was breaded well, and was very crispy (it's so hard to find non-sog city Tso's chicken), and the sauce on it was mildly sweet and tangy, with some small chilis in it. The pork fried rice was cooked well, but I think there were peas in it? I don't remember too well since it was almost a month ago, but I hate peas. Kill peas 2020 for president The egg drop soup was salty and delicious and very egg. It's hard finding a place that cooks the chicken right, has good rice, and has egg drop soup that isn't some watered down mess or is barely salty. Give me the SALT This place was great. Go here, and don't even bother taking your wallet out of your pants. Just rip your pants off and give them the pants. It's Chinese food that is good. Really good. The food is good, it's not too salty or too overpoweringly spicy. The restaurant itself smells like Moth balls which is a huge turn off when you're picking up food. The parking lot is dark and it doesn't give a vibe that is welcoming. read more

I'm not from around here but I'm trying the takeout places one at a time while I'm on vacation. I ordered the twice cooked pork combination and fried wontons from Fu Hing. The food is about average for Chinese takeout. Nothing remarkable. The store itself seems clean. The moth ball odor was most evident in the restroom. 2.5 - Very average food. The General Tso's came with 2 pieces of broccoli. Heavily breaded but crispy and could also use more sauce. Mediocre customer service. Had the SPARE RIB TIPS w|pork fried rice and eggroll.While the pork f. rice and the eggroll were decent, the spare ribs tips were like LEATHER!, the plastic fork supplied wouldn't even begin to penetrate them, had to use my fingers, then chew, chew,chew chew... you get the idea. The sauce was okay, but take my advice, don't order these, and half of it is bones. Maybe their other items are okay, but I'd never order these again.I have to wonder if the owners ever tried these rib tips? If you can't make them more tender...I know it isn't filet mignon,but my gosh so tough!!.... you shouldn't sell them, left a very bad first impression of this establishment. P. S. Hot, tasty, reasonably priced, sizeable portions, and fresh! First time trying it for me. I would eat it more often if I lived here. The family combos are a great deal. I just ordered 40 worth of food and woman that take the order is rude and rush you off the phone I ask her to give me a hand full of soy sauce and she game me 3 packages I always order alot of food from this place and they have the nerve to be stingy w soy sauce you just lost a loyal customer here. My take out order of General Tsos chicken was delicious and well packaged. A decent portion as would be expected. The exterior looks a bit shady, so I initially passed it up. But after reading a few other reviews decided to try it. The inside looks decently clean. No complaints there. There was an employee sitting down slurping on some noodles when I walked in. A lady come from the back and took my order. She was fairly nice but obviously very busy. The phones where blowing up with orders and finally slurpy guy got up to help. Supposedly they only charge $1 for delivery. But she made sure to check that every customer was within the 5 mile radius with Google maps. She is also fairly difficult to understand so be patient. Not terrible Chinese food fast at a great price. I ordered the Special Combination beef w/ Szechuan style (C20) which came with "fried rice" and an "egg roll". First, make no mistake , when they say Szechuan style they mean all style and zero Szechuan. Szechuan food is hot, oily and fragrant. This had a sauce more reminiscent of ketchup than Szechuan, tomatoey and sweet. The beef tasted like they boiled it with shrimp shells. But I like shrimp and the veggies were crisp and perfectly cooked so I guess it was eatable and not gross. But the "fried rice"...ugh. At least Panda Express uses real rice. This place tries passing off instant rice (yes there IS a difference) that they toss with some bullion and raw onion chunks as fried rice. Yeah, gross. The egg roll that comes with the meal is a fried spring roll that is full of vermicelli. You can always spot a cheap Chinese restaurant by looking at their egg rolls. If your egg rolls are filled with cheap bean thread noodles instead of real vegetables and meat, guess what - you are at cheap Chinese restaurant. The best part of the meal was the fortune cookie. Really good with a hint of orange - totally worth the disappointment of the rest of the meal. read more

They get 2 star cause their food was better than a lot of places I've tried and their prices are good but.... I am extremely not happy with being lied to! We placed an order last night for delivery. Keep in mind that we have gotten delivery here MANY times. And they called like 20-30 minutes later to let me know that we are to far and did not make our food (which we would have picked up). They said they only deliver 5 miles away and we are 7. Well I checked this morning and we are exactly 5 miles away!!! It was close to closing time (which we would have tipped more) but I know that was the real excuse and they could have just said that instead of lying. Definitely not happy about last night. Terrible food anyone who says there food is good needs to try other places. Teriyaki chicken and Teriyaki Beef were so thin and dry it was like jerky on a stick. We did not eat it. I don't even know what they did to the shrimp fried rice very lacking in flavor. Shrimp toast was an over done greasy glob and the egg roll was a greasy mess.
