He is 60 miles away from me, so I called and asked about any issues, and he said there were none. He also said they detail every car. I scheduled a visit on a Saturday because he mentioned he was out all-day Friday going to an auction right by my house. I suggested he could drive the car to the auction, and I could meet him there and test drive it to determine if I wanted to purchase. He agreed but wanted a deposit upfront. I did not agree to buy the car until I was able to check it out and test drive, but since I was not aware of any standard policy regarding this procedure, I went ahead and gave him the deposit. Prior to all of this, he had to get emissions on it as well as an oil change to clear the Maintenance message. This is important because he drove it all around to get this done and therefore knew the condition of the car. When we met, the car was not detailed at all, which wasn't a huge deal. Also, there were cosmetic issues that were difficult to see from the pictures. Which again, wasn't a deal breaker. The ultimate deal breaker was the A/C wasn't blowing cold air. I told him I did not want to purchase, and he said I would lose my deposit. I even offered for him to keep $200 of the deposit and he said that $200 wasn't worth his time. He guaranteed that all it needed was an $18 can of freon. He even offered to go to Advance Auto and prove that would fix it. (He also said I would have to buy the freon). I said if that doesn't fix, would you give me my deposit back. He never answered the question but kept repeating that he guaranteed. Throughout this whole process, I asked him why he didn't disclose that the A/C didn't work. He would not answer the question but instead deflected the question. So, I decided to take him up on going to Advance Auto. We went there and initially couldn't find what we were looking for. So, he asked an associate for help. Another red flag is that he found someone that spoke Spanish and only spoke Spanish to him in front of me. Even though both guys spoke perfect English. The associate would speak English sometimes, but Michael would revert to Spanish. The freon the associate said we needed was around $150. Michael asked me to pay for it. I refused, so he bought it, and we all went outside, with the help of the associate, to add the freon. That did nothing. At this point, I asked for my deposit back and he refused. He did offer to take $500 off, but I lost all trust in him and this car. I would later tell him that I would only feel comfortable if this was fixed by the dealership. He refused that and said he had a guy. The next day or so, he said he got it fixed by his guy. But I still did not trust him or this car. It's been over a month, and still no deposit back and he has listed the car sold on his site. This guy gives a bad name to used car salesmen. He was unfriendly the moment I said I didn't want to buy it. He was dishonest about several things. At times, he wouldn't let me get a sentence in and kept talking over me. What's worse is that this car was for my daughter who just graduated college and she was there with me during this whole interaction. Keep in mind that I did not sign anything, nor did I agree to purchase it. Hopefully someone finds this helpful.

That was the LAST thing I needed: my 10-year old Saab breaking down and the company out of business. Fortunately, I found Sovereign online. They were able to book me first thing the next morning. The parking lot was full of cars - always a good sign that the repair shop is busy! But I was surprised to see not only Saabs, but plenty of other European luxury cars: BMW, Audi, Mercedes. Obviously, they can handle anything. From the second I walked in, I felt at ease. Their waiting room is the nicest I've ever seen at an automotive shop; it reminded me of my aunt's den. They even have free snacks. Bob and Cathy are friendly and personable. He quickly identified my car's problem and got me on my way. I almost wish I lived in Atlanta, so I could always bring my car to Sovereign.

They installed brake hardware incorrectly, and after bringing it to their attention, I gave them several opportunities to fix the issue. Despite that, I've received no response at this point. Another mechanic, who I called for an unrelated issue, noticed the poor brake installation right away and recommended I get the original shop back out to correct it--which still hasn't happened. To make matters worse, the guide pins and other metal-to-metal contact points were not greased properly with fresh grease, which is basic brake service 101. It's incredibly frustrating to pay for work that isn't done right, especially when the company won't stand behind it. I hope they take this seriously and improve how they handle both service and communication.

I am a professional mechanic with 40+ years of experience. I run a very busy company and recently…read moreallowed Automotive Dynamics in Woodstock GA to work on my truck because I am simply too busy to work on my own vehicles any more. The sensor in my fuel tank that runs my fuel level gauge was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. I made an appointment which required me to wait two weeks into the future. I took my truck in on a Monday and it was promised back by Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon, the owner Matt Braden called me and said he had not worked on my truck because "other work had come in". This was the first insult... why did I make an appointment only to be pushed aside for other work? Matt said he had to remove the fuel tank from my truck to change the pump/sensor assembly. He went on about how hard it was going to be because it was half full of fuel. We calculated the weight of the fuel while on the phone and it was only about 150lbs. With a lift and a transmission jack, this is nothing and very simple to do. There are only 4 bolts and a few hose clamps holding the fuel tank up into the truck. I told him I could wait one more day and he said he would work on it. When I went to pick up the truck, the bill was $755!!! I was SHOCKED. He charged me 4 hours of labor to change the pump/sensor and 1 hour to adjust my parking brake. The parking brake adjustment takes less time than it takes to put air in a tire. I had no idea he was going to charge me more than a few dollars for this. I went to drive off, very upset, and then put the parking brake on to test it. I was able to drive right off with the brake on! It was delivered to me in a completely UNSAFE condition! We had to diagnose this and repair it at my shop. The problem was easy to find. An axle seal had failed and allowed oil to pour into the brakes. The brakes were ruined with no pad material left and simply slipping providing no safety. This should have been alerted to me as it was easy to see without taking anything apart on the truck... the backing plate of the parking brake had oil all over it! This terrible sloppy careless mechanic isn't qualified to even touch a brake system. (see photos) I was driving the truck from GA to TN the same day. While fueling the truck I decided I should inspect the work to make sure my truck was safe. I noticed no one had removed the filler neck to the fuel tank, as all of the clamps had never been touched and had 15 years of dirt and grit on them. How did he remove the fuel tank? I checked the other end of the filler hoses at the tank... same thing... no one touched them. How did he remove the tank? Then I checked the four bolts that hold the tank in. No one had touched them!!! It was 100% clear that no one removed my fuel tank. They LIED IN MY FACE. This truck is a farm truck with a big hole in the bed for a gooseneck hitch. I looked in the hole and you could clearly and easily see the pump. (See photo) It is held in by just 6 small screws. One hose clamp on the fuel line, and one quick couple electrical connector. This pump can be removed and reinstalled in less than 10 minutes!!! How do I know that? There is a Safety Warning Tag on my new pump. The careless sloppy mechanic pinched the tag between the gas tank and the pump leaving an open airgap into my fuel tank and leaving my truck in a DANGEROUS condition!!! I hoped the tag would simply slide out as it was made of plastic, but it had been cut by the pump when it was tightened down. (See photo) In the end, I had to remove the carelessly installed pump myself, find the chopped off piece of tag, remove it from the sealing surface, and reinstall the pump myself. (See photo) Every single thing this terrible shop did had to be undone, and redone correctly by real professional mechanics, at a loss to me. Even worse, this terrible unscrupulous thief charged me 4 hours of labor for the 6 minutes of work it took to change the pump!!! I know because I had to repeat the job. To add insult to injury, they charged me $29 for "Supplies" when NONE where used, no even one penny's worth of chemicals or material were used to DEFECTIVELY assemble my truck and leave it in an UNSAFE and DAMAGED condition! I called the owner Matt the next day, and he admitted he had not removed the fuel tank, as he knew I had caught him red-handed STEALING FROM ME. He said he would refund 100% of my money the same day. I waited for almost 3 weeks, and have never received any refund, so I have file a dispute with American Express to get my money back. I have since had to have the parking brakes completely overhauled in order to make my truck safe. This matter will appear in a lengthy Youtube Video on my Channel, and will be reported to the Better Business Bureau, and other social media outlets in an effort to ensure no other motorists are victims of this horrible operation.
