This place is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. A perfect place to unwind and get away for a relaxing, quiet vacation. The barn has a loft bedroom, a private indoor hot tub and fully equipped kitchen. The bed, in particular, was a dreamy experience with the biggest mattress topper we have ever encountered. There is a separate billiard room with a big screen TV. When we arrived, there was super relaxing music playing and a mister with essential oils creating the perfect, soothing scent. The Barn is the last cabin after two gorgeous, spring-fed ponds which made for a quiet, secluded experience. We will absolutely be back again and again to try all of their cabins in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.

Belladonna is a great place to stay if you're wanting to be near downtown Eureka but don't want the noise of downtown Eureka.

We are happy to sacrifice space in exchange for specific amenities like a large jacuzzi and were very pleased with the Queen Suite that we ended up getting (with a nice view of the mountains/the Jesus statue). The room was comfortable and clean. If I had any complaints, the in-suite coffee was underwhelming and the TV was kind of oddly situated, but that's very much a minor issue. The rest of the hotel was interesting and fun to explore as well. If we'd had more time, we would have checked out the bar in the lobby. The hotel staff were outstanding. Andrew(?) and Co. made a point to learn our names and were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and on-point with the valet parking service. Just a really good experience and good vibes.

Last night, there was a party with a live band (particularly terrible drummer BTW) right under our room until after midnight. It was so loud in our room that we couldn't watch a movie, talk to each other, or sleep. We could only put in earplugs and wait for it to be over. I could still hear all the lyrics through the earplugs, that's how loud it was. We are leaving a day early, even though we have already paid for tonight's room, because last night was so miserable. The hotel has effectively made this first floor room unusable on nights when the club right under it is open (W-Sa), and we were certainly not informed when we booked at their full price rate that this VERY LOUD party would be happening basically IN OUR ROOM UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT. Just ridiculous. I would not book the New Orleans Hotel first-floor suite again and would not recommend it to anyone else. As far as what the hotel should do to improve this problem: do not rent this suite out on nights when you are having loud parties right under it, and refund my money for this unusable hotel room.

The rooms are color coordinated, clean, and thoughtfully friendly to both the guest and environment (and high quality without attacking the pocketbook!). And, while I checked in late, the owner brought us to the room, explained everything, pointed everything out, and was simply the nicest owner I have met outside of small towns in Europe! What was planned to be a roadtrip with eldest kiddo has turned out to be a magnet, and I hope to return to this beautiful part of the US and FIVE STAR accommodations as soon as possible.
