I love BBQ. We went here after an OSU basketball game. There were 6 of us and they weren't crowded and we knew we were going to want to sit and talk for awhile. It started off kinda bad because they were out of several items and the sides were running really low and looked like they had been sitting there for awhile. I ended up getting a pulled pork sandwich and sour cream potato salad. The potato salad was amazing. The one bright spot of the meal, my pulled pork sandwich was full of fat chunks and didn't have much flavor. My husband had the brisket sandwich and said it was dried out and hard like it was the bottom of the tub and had sat there all day drying out. He also had baked beans and they were also dried and not very good. If we were there late at night I might have been more understanding but it was 5:30 pm on a Saturday night. I don't see us ever going back here.

One star for cleanliness and another for quick service. I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with a hot link as well. I received a sauce sandwich with some chopped meat mixed in. Honestly have no idea if they can cook a brisket because this could have been any kind of meat and I wouldn't have tasted it over the sauce. The sauce was ok but I prefer it in moderation and definitely not as the main course. What kind of BBQ place does that? Defeats the purpose of good bbq. The hot link wasn't much better. Flavor wasn't memorable and my knife had a difficult time getting through the casing. As to the knife...have you ever tried to eat a sauce sandwich with your hands? I did notice that they seem to have a number or regular customers and most ordered the burger. Wish I noticed this before ordering. Also, it was $13 for a sandwich and okra. Better be damn good at that price. Wasn't.

Great bbq spot. We ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of Waffle fries that were delightful, crispy and delicious & with coleslaw tasted sweet and crunchy. Had a great lunch, we ordered pickup, which they had a drive thru was easy and quick.

This is our favorite BBQ! Burnt ends and okra are favorites, and have loved everything we've ordered.

Best BBQ in the area and family owned and operated. Friendly staff and great food. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault.

Love the BBQ buffet during my college days. They have one of the best pecan pies ever! And the ribs are tender and delicious.

Best BBQ I've had in Stillwater! Their sides and hot links are vastly superior to the competition. Try the badwich!

After over a decade living in OK, I finally visited this Stillwater destination restaurant. It…read morelived up to its reputation as a special place. I came to Stillwater on a work trip with 5 other people. It was a Tuesday just before noon. We were quoted an accurate 10 - 15 minute wait time. That gave us time to browse the gift shop before we sat down at our table on the second floor. We had a nice view of the campus and the bar across the street. It was a bit loud in there due to the music and many other guests, but we carried on our lunch table conversation without any trouble. I ordered Joe's Classic with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. It was a solid charbroiled burger -- a step up from Burger King because of the thickness of the patty and because it had a buttered toasted bun. A little ketchup and mustard was all that it needed. For my side order, I got the coleslaw. Overall, not bad. It was served cold and had little bits of carrot and red cabbage for color and extra crunch. The dressing was not overly sweet and had a runny consistency that I liked. However, I prefer a coleslaw dressing with more vinegar than in their recipe. We ordered some of the famous cheese fries to share as a table. They were delicious! I like that they cut their fries in-house, and their custom fry seasoning was delicious. No extra salt or pepper needed!

The day was warm so the AC was up inside. We were seated however, on a second floor, open porch. Thank goodness for the large, iced, cold glasses of water! I ordered Chicken chili and a Black Bean Burger with everything on it (pickle, tomato and lettuce). The rest of the party received their appetizers, and main dishes. I waited, and waited while the server attended to guests being seated at other tables. When my sandwich arrived it was cold and dry. Way disappointing. The chili though, was hot and delicious, especially with the shredded cheddar I received on the side. I guess it was a busy time of day, or that our server was a bit overwhelmed and unorganized, but I won't be returning any time soon for a cold, dry burger.
