My nephew was looking at a Mercury Mariner on Friday, August 21, and called me because he needed a cosigner. The interaction started poorly; before even having my information or running a credit check, Shad began making critical, judgmental assumptions about my credit score and openly talking down about my nephew's credit. When I stopped him to question his tone, he immediately got defensive and claimed he "didn't mean to offend me." It wasn't about being offended--it was about a basic lack of customer respect. Things grew worse when I noted the vehicle was priced significantly higher than its actual market value. When I asked why it was priced so high, Shad completely ignored the question. Instead, he used aggressive, cliché car salesman tactics, claiming he had "another appointment later for the same car" and telling me the vehicle had been "getting a lot of attention" to force a high-pressure situation. Later, when I directly asked him if his behavior was standard for him, his reaction was completely unhinged. He threw a pen onto the counter and defensively snapped that none of his coworkers thought he was disrespectful and that he has plenty of positive reviews. When I asked if he thought throwing a pen and reacting emotionally was professional, he literally said "yes," and that he "wasn't just going to take it." An experienced professional accepts critical feedback with grace. Shad reacted with a volatile, emotional outburst. If I were buying a car for myself, I would have walked out immediately. I will never return to this dealership and strongly advise others to shop elsewhere. I would never buy a vehicle from Shad or recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

They lied to me about the condition of the vehicle I bought off them. The car couldn't run after 4 days from buying it. I called them they did nothing. I was told the vehicle was cheap because of some sensor issues but the fuel injectors were messed up amongst other things. I've spent 9,000 fixing it and it still isn't running. They told me to only take it to mechanics that specialize on foreign vehicles but the shop that does inspections for the vehicles they sell does not. They suggested I take the car to said shop and they themselves told me they don't specialize on foreign vehicles and had no idea what was wrong with my car. Yet they're the ones who inspected it for Cherry Creek to sell it. read more

BUYER BEWARE, I purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler from Cherry Creek Automotive in March 2026, and within the first 60 days of ownership I was forced to spend approximately $9,000 in repairs due to serious mechanical and safety-related issues that should never have been present on a vehicle being sold by a dealership. The problems included a leaking radiator, severely worn brake pads and rotors, a bent rear axle differential, leaking wheel bearings and seals, a rusted frame that was never disclosed, disconnected emergency brake lines, an oil cooler housing failure, transmission-related service, and additional engine performance repairs. These were not minor maintenance items--they were major defects that significantly impacted the vehicle's safety, reliability, and value. What is most concerning is that many of these issues appear to have existed before the sale and either were not disclosed or were not properly identified during any inspection process. As a customer, I relied on the dealership's representations that the vehicle was safe and roadworthy. Instead, I was left with thousands of dollars in unexpected repair bills almost immediately after taking ownership. I have maintained documentation for all repairs, diagnostics, and related expenses. I attempted to address this matter professionally and give the dealership an opportunity to resolve the situation in good faith. Unfortunately, the experience has left me extremely disappointed and questioning the standards by which vehicles are inspected and sold. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to have an independent mechanic perform a thorough inspection before signing any paperwork. Just sold my car by consignment thru Cherry Creek Auto. It went exactly as Justin (the owner) explained it. I left the car with him and he advised of the price i would receive - if the mechanic found no major flaws and if the car sold in a reasonable time. Neither issue was a problem, and that was a relief since i was moving out of state. Couple weeks later i get a call from Justin saying the check is on the way. It drove beautifully and was immaculate - except for the whole under body. It was a RUST BUCKET! I'm so glad I had my own inspection done. I'm out $120 and half of my day, but that's better than $29,000. Calvin said they had an inspection done and if that was true, then he knew this was a rust bucket and still tried to sell it that way. I bought a 2007 Mini Cooper that had a bad engine and they knew about the problem. They disconnected the oil sensor so the light would not come on :( I took it to a mechanic when I noticed the power was inconsistent and they found the disconnected sensor and reconnected it, and BOOM a blaring oil light came on. They told me that every car they sold had a 3,000 mile warranty, but alas... MINE DIDN'T! Despite being told I did and despite their website saying "our cars come with a limited warranty..." it did not. So I am currently in the complaint process with DORA (state regulatory agencies) concerning false advertising. The bill to replace the motor? Between $6,000 and $7,000. Do not trust Justin. UPDATE: So Yelp decided I am not active enough and took down my review. Because of this, Justin thought I deleted it! I did not. After he saw my review, he called me and basically offered to give me $600 as "goodwill" for the car. I find out that oil is mixed in with the gas, so I call him and ask him for the money. So he is writing me the check and I tell him I didn't delete it- that Yelp took it down for extortion or whatever the hell they do. The look on his face was priceless! He reluctantly gave me the check. I then get a voicemail in which he mentions the money and asks me to delete my Google review. I'm not saying all the cars he sells are junk- but if you buy one, you are SCREWED! And those odds are good since he buys from auctions. I payed too much money for a car that is very nearly worthless. Updated again: 5/14/2015 my car officially died :( I will now have car payments for a while on something that is just parked. Upon arrival the car was out front and ready for me at my appointment time (I was even a little early). They addressed me by my name and offered me water, hand sanitizer, ext. There were two staff members available to help me with the car and questions. After the test drive the owner of the company sat in the vehicle with me showing me how to change the dashboard lights, and they switched them to the color of my choice. Bought a diesel 335d bmw 3 series and they gave me a voucher for the emission test, and was told if it did not pass to bring back the car within 3 business days and they would get whatever repairs were needed done. We brought it back within 3 days after finally finding a emission place to even test the vehicle. After the car being at the dealership for 2 weeks we called them and they said it was "completed". When arriving at Cherry Creek auto dealership they said that the car was at the mechanic shop and they where not able to pick the car up. They asked if we could and we said sure, so now traveling 10 miles further away. We then talked to the mechanic and he stated that he replaced one part but the other item that needed replaced was under factory warranty and Schomp would have to repair. They asked if we could bring to this dealership (Schomp BMW) so we agreed. After Schomp replaced everything that was needed the cost was 2600.00$ , so we talked to dealership about paying for the repairs and they said they would not cover the cost because they never had a chance to take somewhere else. There mechanic stated they where the only ones that could repair. I believe the mechanic never even did anything and we also talked with Justin at Schomp and stated he never even talked to a mechanic. These guys at this dealership are CON ARTIST. I went in about three weeks back and a guy looked at my VERY NICE LEXUS to sell on comission. So, I called last week, to re-confirm and bring it in. He quoted me over the phone they thought they would give me about 23,400 for it. Normally, I feel that only an idiot would think a phone quote was good (especially from a low-rent car dealer on Colfax lol), but since they had already SEEN the CAR and pulled the carfax and knew it had a fender bender, I thought he knew what he was DOING. So, I busted my butt to get the car there to sell, and the jerk totally low-balled me!! When I said I had already talked to someone else and they told me 23400 he said that was me there is no Jason (all snotty). (I was confused about the guy's name I talked to before. He tried to play it off like I had misrepresented the car! He then basically completely dissed the car to convince me it was not worth anything and he would be lucky to get 22,500, so he quoted me 20K!!!! He claimed I had not told them it had had an accident--total BS as they took the VIN the first time I was there!! They knew and we discussed it. They are sneaky, lowballing liars. Ugh. read more

I purchased a car in November 2021 from Shad . I didn't want to drive back to Denver to pick up the vehicle, shad offered to deliver it, he failed to mention there was a delivery fee. My temp tag expiration date was January 11 somewhere around there, my appt to get plates was January 28. I called Shad told him my appt at the Court House was past the temp tag date, he said call a couple of days before it expires and he would send me another temp tag. My time came and went ordered my plates received them sometime in February, about a week later I get the temp tag in the mail..Becareful or wolves in sheep skin is all I'm saying read more

We bought our son a car here about 10 months ago. Our son got his license at the end of June so we have not put many miles on the car. Took it in to get an oil change and asked them to look the car over. They are telling us it needs about $5,000 worth or repairs. They are saying the steering rack is shot, the struts need replacing and the list goes on. What I find interesting is CC Automotive showed us where they had the car inspected and told us everything was in great shape. So, any one reading this beware when they show you the car has been inspected as it is a scam. We should of had the car inspected ourselves but trusted these con artists. read more
