I worked with Drew who was super sweet I walked in wanting to just look at there jeeps was able to do some test drives and fell in love with a 2023 jeep wrangler sahara 4xe, Drew worked really hard to get exactly what I wanted as far as apr, down payment n monthly payment amount. You'd think if it went so well why 1 star well 5 days after taking it home the worst thing possible happened check engine light came on and after 3 different shop visits I finally got the worst news ever YOUR CAR NEEDS AWHOLE NEW MOTOR. Thankfully its under warranty n it will be covered but I'm two months in n the car this whole time has been sitting at the shop waiting for the new motor which apparently is on back order. I feel like this dealership let me down this car should of never been on the lot, I get issues come up with used cars but awhole new motor after 5 days of purchasing it yeah no they failed me because how do u inspect a car and say its good n 5 days later needs awhole new motor. I reached out to this dealership about a 2008 tacoma over the last 2 weeks. The contact was Alex but it was through a company line so it could have been anyone to be fair . The first week they contacted me telling me to come in but I had obligations . On Monday June 12th I set up a time to go see it . I'm on my way at 10:30 am and get a text apologizing saying it wasn't back from reconditioning yet, which seemed odd considering how much they texted me the prior week, I waited all day for a response on when it would be ready but never got a response until I texted back, Alex assured me he would keep me up to date in its return, he didn't . He promised I would be the first person he called when it returned, he didn't . This morning I wake up and it says sale pending on the tacoma . I never had a chance to even test drive it . It's a real bummer , I didn't take time to look at any other trucks yet because I really liked this one and wanted to test drive it first and I was assured I would be contacted . I got pre approval from my bank as well. I didn't buy a car from Urban Motors, so I can't speak to the entire buying experience. I can say they're generally friendly, and they're willing to let you test-drive with or without a saleperson riding along. They also post more photos of their cars than most dealerships, including close-up shots of any damage. I only have only real gripe, but it's a big one: They have crazy-high markups for some of their more popular cars. I get that new cars are still relatively hard to come by, but 30 grand above the original MSRP for a USED car is nuts. I'd encourage anyone to do their pricing homework before considering a car from Urban, and don't fall in love with what they have on the lot. read more
