The had to push it back one day but they reached out to me a few days before to keep me updated, so great communication. Two workers arrived right on time and started the job. I was a bit nervous when I saw one of them with a hedge trimmer going to town In the beds like Edward Scissorhands, but he did an amazing job and stopped to use other tools when needed. He asked me a few questions throughout the visit and was happy to trim a bit more or differently in spots I asked. They also had pulled the large weeds and sprayed everything too small to pull. They offer a monthly bed maintenance program that I'm going to seriously consider starting this spring. Here are some before and after shots. The owners, Kyle and Jenna, were very hands on and really cared about providing great services. Unlike other "mowing services", they provided comprehensive services - helping with lawn care, landscaping and irrigation services. For years my lawn looked great. It appears that the owners have either sold the business or have turned it over to different management. My lawn has suffered. I will likely have to replace the lawn because of the damage that the new management has done. Meanwhile, they have nearly doubled the price they charge. I can say one thing positive about them: they showed up.

Though the deck looked good initially in just 3 years it is rotting away and we just now realized to what extent. It got in such a bad state we decided to have someone redo the whole deck. When they took off the top boards the frame itself had half rotted away (including the whole frame for the steps) and we realized it could have caved under us at any time. In the attached picture you will see the current state of the frame. Half of it has rotted away. We initially used them because they were the best price and they did work fast and were flexible to our requests. However, the tradeoff seems to be they used poor material. It was either not pressure treated or leftover material they got from a building being constructed that isn't meant to be used for a deck. I can't confirm but regardless proper material shouldn't rot like this in just 3 years. I write this to warn you to make sure they are not skimping on the materials as this can become a safety hazard.

Andy did an excellent job managing the project, paying attention to detail, and staying as close to schedule as possible. He gave us sufficient time after the job was complete to test the final product, make fixes, etc., before taking full payment. He went above and beyond to make sure to stay within budget and give us a beautiful final product. Before going with Andy we got quotes from 2 other landscapers. Rockview Landscaping's quote was in the middle. We didn't go with the cheapest option because Andy felt more trustworthy and willing to stay close to our vision. Additionally, the cheapest quote came from a larger national landscaping firm. It felt impersonal. We wanted to help a local business instead. The pictures speak for themselves. We included some before pictures as well so you can see how awful our backyard used to be, and how complete the remodel is. The slope in our backyard was very steep, making the lawn space completely unusable. The deck was rotting and painted over with an ugly green color. We cannot believe how much flat lawn space we have now, and the patio, hot tub, deck layout is beautiful and functional.

Gabriel's crew is wonderful and hard working. They did a great job on the hardscaping, though there are still issues with drainage on a patio. Gabriel left my parents and myself hanging. There was an entire corner of the lawn that they never returned to sod, several of the large expensive plants we bought got sick during warrantee and Gabriel did not extend the courtesy of getting back in touch with us to replace them, and the same thing happened with a large red oak, which is now dying. The watering system was not maintainer or properly set up, corners were cut and the lack of communication surrounding something that is EASILY remedied is the most frustrating part. I have written and called no less than ten times, but it appears he is too busy to finalize a $120,000+ project that he said he would over a year ago.

I checked the temperature and it was in the "hot" range. After emailing both the manager and over their customer inquiry form on the website to enquire if I had perhaps received a batch that wasn't done with the composting process, I have yet to hear back from either. It's extremely frustrating as a customer that relies on quality products for the health/wellbeing of her farm and plants to not even receive an email back. Will look elsewhere for my soil and compost needs
