The owners both greeted us and invited us to "explore and enjoy" the grounds and to let them know if we had any questions or needed any help. He worked hard to come up with an irrigation system remodel that saved lots of time and money on an old inadequate system. He also was good at solving problems that were uncovered as the project was underway. He worked tirelessly to match stonework on a wall that needed to be built to solve an irrigation issue. His workers are craftsmen and care a lot about their work. You can not even tell it was built at a different time than my other walls and pool rock work. I was very particular because the wall has lots of detail with multiple types of stone with a limestone cap. I am very pleased with the results. He has very good design skills as well as knowledge of plants that will thrive in specific areas. He spends lots of time finding the right plants to work in your yard. We're…read moreout on some property and unfortunately here in Central Tx runoff even on high ground is inevitable. I though his crew was just going to install crushed road paver with reinforced timber. My wife and I were amazed after they completed the project. The "road paver" looked like a professionally engineered home foundation! He constructed a full retaining wall. And to further divert the water's flow they graded away from our building installing a massive drainage pipe below ground! Landcraft design also routinely prunes our undergrowth and oaks. Richard is very knowledgeable cleaning his tools and sealing the wounds. In all the years we've been here there has never been a sign of wilt. We're blessed to be on such beautiful land... and get to see it without all those juniper and cedar saplings stealing all the water and ravaging our allergies.

A complete remodel with 2 retaining walls, new irrigation, sod, zero-scaping, a flagstone patio, hot tub, rebuilt deck, pergola, kitchenette, bar top, and electrical. Andy did an excellent job managing the project, paying attention to detail, and staying as close to schedule as possible. He gave us sufficient time after the job was complete to test the final product, make fixes, etc., before taking full payment. He went above and beyond to make sure to stay within budget and give us a beautiful final product. Before going with Andy we got quotes from 2 other landscapers. Rockview Landscaping's quote was in the middle. We didn't go with the cheapest option because Andy felt more trustworthy and willing to stay close to our vision. Additionally, the cheapest quote came from a larger national landscaping firm. It felt impersonal. We wanted to help a local business instead. The pictures speak for themselves. We included some before pictures as well so you can see how awful our backyard used to be, and how complete the remodel is. The slope in our backyard was very steep, making the lawn space completely unusable. The deck was rotting and painted over with an ugly green color. We cannot believe how much flat lawn space we have now, and the patio, hot tub, deck layout is beautiful and functional.

After a meeting with Juan we decided to give him a trial run. Vicente (of the Galindo family) mows and edges our lawn and does excellent work. On my view, Juan is either overworked or not disciplined as his communications are typically slow or very late. For example, I got a text from him at 10:30pm letting me know a project would be started in the morning. I have numerous examples of his late responses. Tomas (of the Galindo family) arrived on the property at 7:30am to re-stain a pergola and fence. His work was outstanding and very conscientious. He took down hanging baskets and artwork from all over the pergola and put them back in place. His staining work was excellent. The pricing was fair. Juan provided a written invoice prior to the work. We will continue to work with them as the workmen are top notch. As a new business owner, Juan has a lot to learn in effective communication. We support him fully.
