Our ground is mostly rock with a little dirt (northwest Autin in the Hill Country). I have spoken to Albert several times over the years because our ground is so hard, and I worry about the installation, which seems to be the problem with all the other nurseries. Albert assured me they would do whatever it took to dig the holes and get them properly installed. We went to pick one tree this past weekend, but they were all so healthy and HUGE that we ended up choosing three trees. The trees are an excellent value for the cost. The experience was very enjoyable. A few days later, I was called to schedule installation, and they came out the next morning. Highlights: They showed up at 9:30, exactly when they said they would. Four men showed up (they were big trees). They had a jackhammer and shovels. They were very polite and worked with me on placement (turning them when I picked a different side to face the house). They spent time making sure the trees were perfectly straight. They hauled away all the old dirt and rocks (taking the rocks they dug up was great) They built a berm around the trees to help with watering. They installed tubing to help with daily watering. They put in metal poles and wiring to keep the trees straight as they grow. They checked to make sure I was happy with each tree installation as they did it. They made sure I was pleased with everything before they left. The area was as clean when they left as when they arrived. (This is a big deal because several contractors have left old water bottles and trash at our house before.) Albert called to ensure I was pleased with the work and is coming later today or tomorrow to install a timer for the water. I could not be more thrilled! The trees look gorgeous, and the surrounding area is tidy and well-manicured. We are already planning where we will put more trees next year. If you are at all considering investing in trees, you should take the drive out to see them. You will not be disappointed.

The gentleman we initially met at their yard gave a tour of all the trees in his golf cart, asked us several questions about what we were replacing, and what we thought we would like to replace it with. He stopped frequently to identify the different trees, provide all the pros and cons of each variety, whether they were particularly suitable for where we live, etc. We didn't feel rushed, he was exceptionally pleasant, and was happy to answer all our questions. When we decided what type of tree we wanted, we were handed a flag, picked out the exact tree we liked best, and they delivered it in a matter of days. Their crew was friendly and efficient, and for a reasonable fee, cut down and removed the dead tree. They were finished in no time, and left the yard looking better than when they arrived. They only asked for payment when the old tree was gone, the new tree was planted, staked, watered, and we were 100% satisfied with their work. I really didn't think this level of customer service existed anymore. Go see them. You won't regret it.

When Jovanne came out to estimate the project, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and confident in his abilities, as well as his team's ability to deliver the best outcome for me. A week later, I was on the schedule and Jovanne came out to begin grading my front yard with a skid. The man is an absolute surgeon with that machine. Although he worked quickly, he was very detail oriented and paid close attention when digging near the house foundation. The next day, Anthony and the rest of the crew came out to do the final laser guided grading and put down seed and erosion blankets. The final product is exactly what I was hoping for and Jovanne understood that right from the beginning. Communication with Janet and Shan was great. Gabriel and his crew completed a job for me over a year ago...but they never actually completed it…read more In fact, I wrote another review about halfway through the project on his old landscaping site, Compass Landscaping and have filed a civil case, despite NUMEROUS requests to resolve the small, but expensive, remaining issues. Gabriel's crew is wonderful and hard working. They did a great job on the hardscaping, though there are still issues with drainage on a patio. Gabriel left my parents and myself hanging. There was an entire corner of the lawn that they never returned to sod, several of the large expensive plants we bought got sick during warrantee and Gabriel did not extend the courtesy of getting back in touch with us to replace them, and the same thing happened with a large red oak, which is now dying. The watering system was not maintainer or properly set up, corners were cut and the lack of communication surrounding something that is EASILY remedied is the most frustrating part. I have written and called no less than ten times, but it appears he is too busy to finalize a $120,000+ project that he said he would over a year ago.
