I stopped in last week during lunch with some staff to have lunch before a team meeting. I had never been to this location before but it is prime real estate so close to the ballpark. We had good service, although they had just opened for the day and were still getting set up. We had an assortment of burgers and desserts. I had the impossible burger with smoked cheddar and a side salad. Everything came out in reasonable time. We had a someone with a real sweet tooth in our party who couldn't stop gushing about the brownie and ice cream. I guess I'll have to check that out next time! read more

The manager Cesar was very rude. I asked for my wings to be cooked extra crispy, when they came out they weren't cooked extra crispy, when he came over he asked me what was wrong and when I told him he said he didn't know what extra crispy was because he didn't eat chicken. I responded then he shouldn't have cooked it. he rolled his eyes and said it would take 15 more minutes. I declined the food and will never come here again. MAN. OH. MAN. I really love this place, haha. So sad that I don't live in Denver anymore just because I didn't get to have my 'Last Supper' here. I would come here over Blake Street Tavern anyyy dayyyy. I think the best time to come here is during lunch. Not to say that they aren't busy during this time, but they really all pitch in. Each time I've come here, even for dinner service, I've had multiple people bring me my food. For my non industry folks, that is a GOOD THING. That means they are all pitching in. The day time bartender is pretty cool and the servers I've had have all been great. Once we come back to visit, I will be stopping in for my gold and tangy wing order, extra crispy with ranch AND blue cheese and a side salad.... and maybe some O rings. My order is complicated. I walked in and got in the line next to the sign that said, "Please Wait to Be Seated." About five minutes later, a server walked by and asked if all of us in line were wanting to eat. We said yes and she said we could sit where ever we wanted. Okay. It was lunch time, and I was by myself, so I decided to grab a seat at the bar. I liked the tv screens that were tuned to ESPN News or showing a replay of the previous day's Rockies game. I also liked the game room in the back. This is an expansive place. I can see it being busy on Rockies' game days, especially since it's about four blocks from Coors Field. The menu is full of high calorie and delicious dishes. Burgers are a big deal, but sandwiches, salads and Mexican-influenced dishes are options, too. Sides are separate. Sodas and a fully stocked bar of adult beverages are available. Prices are a bit higher than normal, but around average for a restaurant in a sports-influenced entertainment district. I enjoyed my burger, tots and Dr. Pepper. I especially liked the smash-style burger. Service was a bit of an issue. The bartender / server left for a while. It didn't bother me, but a gentleman walked up while she was gone and asked another server if the bar was open seating. That server told him she didn't work at the bar and didn't know. Another customer who was sitting at the bar waited a while for a refill and his check. The bartender returned, but was running a little behind. Staffing is always fluid in the restaurant world. It may have been a bad day. If not, I hope the restaurant is able to hire a few folks who can lend a helping hand. read more

Three stars because the food was decent, but really should be two based off of the service. For a steady but not busy Sunday night, our waitress was not afraid to show that she was not pleased to have our party of two seated within her section. She was curt and never offered her name. That being said, the menu had an impressive offering of burger toppings and sides. Both of our burgers and sides were average at best. The garlic aioli lacked garlic and was mostly mayonnaise. Meh food and drinks - we ordered pretty much every appetizer and cocktail. The food came out lukewarm; most notably, the artichoke dip (with un-exciting bread) had a thick skin on it and the Mac and cheese bites had no crisp to it. Our drinks varied from too syrupy to too boozy, and even our waitress admitted that she only gets beers from there. The vibe is very much the level of a TGIF's or Chili's with a decent arcade in the back - which can be the right mood for a family before or after a Rockies game. My group just badly needed food - and since we're picky, we should've hit a nearby food truck before the bars. read more

New to the neighborhood and this place did not disappoint! Great amount of seating with indoor and outdoor options. I noticed there were some arcade games towards the back which was super fun. The food was pretty good..I have to point out how good the ranch is (weird, I know) call me a Ranch connoisseur. The burgers can get a little pricey as each individual additional topping item is extra. The beer battered fish tacos had a great taste and were a good size. Some of the best ever. People I know who say they are not into Rings say they love them! Service is always good. Prices have gone up a lot recently but still great. First time at Cherry Cricket! Which is crazy because this seems to be a Denver staple! This spot had such a cool vibe - laid-back, cozy and just cool. Service was great - fast and just attentive enough. And they were playing the Nuggets game so it was fun to watch while sitting there. My boyfriend and I just came here for drinks & food and were pleasantly surprised by the beer selection. We both got dark beers and both were cold and refreshing. Although we weren't that hungry, we knew we had to try a burger because it's the Cherry Cricket! For this review, I am rating their To-Go experience. We stopped by last weekend to grab some to-go burgers and the process was super easy, the staff was great, and the food was delicious. We got DIY burgers, on mine I got peanut butter, raspberry jam, and bacon on an impossible burger. It was unique and delicious! We also got some Mac n cheese bites which were yummy. The to-go set-up was very nice and kept our burger intact until we got home. I really liked that the containers were compostable, huge win for me. It was a little pricey if a burger for not having any sides included but overall a great experience. They have a great outdoor order and pick-up window system. Needless to say when I stepped into what is essentially an enormous sports bar, as it should be down in that neighborhood, I was hoping they were able to still have excellent burgers. The burgers did not disappoint! Solid as I recall. The onion rings were good BUT the fries were just awful...big bummer. I'd go back if I wanted a burger but they really should look at the fries. Cool dining location! Located right across the Street from Coors Field, the Cherry Crickets offers a unique dinning experience. I unfortunately did not get any photos because I was so intrigued with the atmosphere and dining layout. When you walk in there's a little gift shop with seats available, a lounge area with a fire place, a huge fish tank, and an upper dinning area. We were seated in the lounge area. I ordered their chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders where breaded in what smelled and looked like the breading you would use for mozzarella sticks! It was so delicious! Hot and fresh. The smell at first tricked me thinking that I might have accidentally ordered mozzarella sticks, but the taste was fantastic! Their fries were hot and fresh! I added a little Morris salt but its better to have them delivered under salted, everyone is different :) Over all I had a great dining experience and I can't wait to return! read more

Went here with my brothers, dad and daughter for a lunch to watch a football game recently and it was my first time to the Ballpark location. I thought the fish tank was unexpected and really cool! As you can probably guess, my 2 year old loved it and kept her entertained for quite some time. They were actually quite busy for an early afternoon lunch and we were totally okay with it, especially since we were watching a football game! I really do love the menu here but the reason I give it 4 stars is because it's a "build your own" burger. They were not ready, slow service, confused at times with guests orders, and all while we calmly complained, we received a sorry, our server is new? Why give a big task to new employees? We reserved 2 weeks in advance. After complaining and paying a bill for crappy service of $975, we didn't get a follow up call to explain what went wrong, or say hey we apologize for the service and inconvenience. Nothing!! The third stop on our food tour, this place was a home run. It's got an aquarium, an arcade room, and amazing food and drinks. We were told the burgers were excellent but our dish for this stop of the tour was the pork chili with poblano chiles, because apparently green Chile is the famous food of Denver. It was served with a warm flour tortilla and had just the right amount of spicy heat. They also serve the original recipe of Blue Moon so it was a fun experience all around. Wow I actually want to thank Cherry Cricket for helping my wife and I to sticking to our diet by providing the worst burger we've ever had. Now I realize that we ordered online about an hour and fifteen minutes before they closed the kitchen but that does not excuse the mess we were served. The patty itself had no seasoning like none and it was supposed to be med rare and came out like a hockey puck. Completely dry and inedible. The "frings" (fries and onion rings) were cold, old and greasy. The bun was stale and the cheese was like plastic. And to top it all off when the cashier asked what condiments I wanted and I said ketchup and mayo, she gave me ONE packet of ketchup and MUSTARD no mayo. Now I realize everyone has a bad night but there really is no excuse for this bad of service for a place that's supposed to have the best burgers in town read more
