Wow! I love a good steakhouse, and had been delinquent in trying this great new addition to Denver (RiNo), especially as it emphasizes fun and casual rather than upscale and stuffy. Carne delivers on fun. My husband and I met our friends there on a Friday night in January, and were greeted by our server quickly. I immediately considered that this might be the most happy server I've ever seen. She was very excited about the drink offerings, and knew everything about the menu (including her favorites). She explained everything to us in great detail, which was really fun, since she was excited about every offering. Who wouldn't be, with drinks like "Rebel Rebel", "You're so Vain", and their own twist on an Old Fashioned--"Carne Fashioned"? There is something for everyone here--whiskey, vodka, mezcal, non-alcoholic, as well as the appropriate and creative use of unique bitters, flower waters, and spices. I am not a cocktail person, but the others in my party were sharing and loving all of their choices. "LeFreak" and "Ain't no Sunshine" were refreshing and colorful mezcal offerings, and if you're a manhattan lover, you shouldn't miss "Rebel Rebel". On to the food. As you might expect, the menu is steak-heavy. I ordered the 1/2 chicken, and it was tender and juicy and delicious. No regrets on going the healthy route tonight. But, take a look at the steak offerings. Very unusual, and relatively well-priced for the Denver scene. Brazilian Picanha and Bison Tres Major are worth the caloric splurge. These unusual cuts are often considered the most tender and flavorful of the animal; the ones the butchers bring home for their families. The 7X Wagyu and the Tomahawk (to share, I hope), worth the monetary splurge. The server recommended the lamb, so I'm sure it is fantastic, but my party dug into the more unusual dishes. My husband ordered the Can Can Pork. This is a MUST! It has a smoky grilled flavor, a spicy salsa, and the pineapple--oh, my goodness! Filling the provided tortillas, the bite is a taste explosion of upscale carnitas, and not to be missed! We all tasted the chorizo on the Argentinian Befe di Chorizo dish. And the sauces all were to die for. You will be in awe of the serving platters, carefully chosen to accommodate the varying items that come with each dish. It made sharing everything around the table easier, as the "plates" were really more like serving platters from which you could carve a bite and share with your neighbor. I want to try everything on the menu and definitely will be back. Another fun tid-bit is that the wine is self-serve. There are bottles on the shelf. Go peruse and choose one, or not. If you do, they will stealthily take note and bring glasses for you. We enjoyed experiencing the wine list that way--browsing (or scrutinizing) the bottles themselves. It was a very fun concept that I took to immediately. If I have a critique of this restaurant, it is that the wine choice was minimal. Perhaps they needed to replenish their shelf after an evening of patrons imbibing. Hard to say, but we chose to stick with the creative cocktails that night. Don't miss the bread service or dessert! I am sorry that I don't have any pictures to share, as I'm trying to be better about taking them while I'm enjoying my night out. The reservation and seating process was very simple. We did have quite an early reservation (5:15) which made it mean we'd have less of a wait time, as you know reservations can still mean waiting for a table during prime time. We were sat in a unique spot in the restaurant with city and Mountain View's. While it was a bit warm due to direct sunlight it was beautiful and quite intimate. As a party of four we had a grand total around $300 which included a few cocktails (4 total and included 20% off during happy hour), the bread service with an extra baguette, 2 filet mignon, 2 New York strip, and 2 sides. Carne RiNo hit it out of the park for the 2026 Denver Restaurant Week! Carne offered a four course menu of what I would consider their best bites. Within each course, there are a couple of choices to make. Our server lead us in the right direction for every course. He was amazing, super knowledgeable, and helped us pick the exact right dish every time. Carne has several signature cocktails. It was a difficult choice, but I opted for the Aspenglow - perfect choice to pair with my selections of foods in every course. For my first course, I selected the burrata. The burrata was delicious as it was atop a poached acorn squash. This was so good, I had to take some home to eat as my lunch the next day. Get it with the toasted crostinis. While the crostinis do not come with the burrata, you won't be sorry for adding them on! Second course, I had to go with the green chili potatoes. In almost every review, these potatoes are talked about. I can see why as they are delicious, flavorful, and perfectly accompany your main course. Third course, I had to try the 6oz Bison Teres Major. Our server stated this is one of his favorite dishes in terms of it being one of the best tasting, prepared, and served meats at Carne. I couldn't agree with him more. I ordered this medium rare and it was perfection. I also had a couple of bites of the Brazilian Pichana - amazingly good as well. They do well with their dipping sauces, as each sauce is specifically selected for the meat. While all the sauces are heavenly, Carne does know what they are doing with the pairings - it's like a fine art almost! For the final course, we each tried tastes of the chocolate brownie and seasonal panna cotta. Both were absolutely to die for. The chocolate ice cream on top of the chocolate brownie though, masterfully delicious. This was my first experience at Carne and it will definitely not be the last. Carne was one of the best dining experiences I have had! I booked a big table for my bachelorette party and they were so accommodating. We easily got seated and their menu had something for everyone. The cocktails were so good and they had good wine and beer options. Our waitress was super sweet and helped us through the menu. Their happy hour is solid with 20% off beer, wine, and cocktails! I had their lamb chops and it was the best cut of meat we had that night. I would definitely have those again. We took my parents out on a double date and booked a 5:15pm reservation the day of so it would be a little more quiet for them to hear us. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. We love the decor, lighting and the wall of wine that you can choose from. There were many tables already seated so the energy was upbeat. The upstairs seating is perfect for private parties and even has its own small bar. Happy hour was a nice treat. I love that they offer a house red wine chilled. It was a barolo that was so delicious that we had a couple glasses. Our server was perfect. He kept our waters filled and checked in with us regularly without interrupting our conversation. Food and wine came quickly. Steak tartare / beef tiradito. This one is addictive! Fresh, citrus and perfect with a little salty chip crunch. This is one of my new favorites. Pork wings with Korean BBQ sauce. My dad's favorite appy. So tender and light sauce flavor. Octopussy. Beautiful presentation and yummy. Beef bourguignon braised short rib. OMG. This is a must order. The meat just melts with the perfectly seasoned sauce. No bones, so it's easy to just scoop up tender succulent savory spoonfuls. Magical! Green chili cheesy potatoes. The perfect side for the beef short rib. So good and satisfying. NY Strip. Mom's go-to steak cooked well done. I prefer my steaks medium rare so she doesn't worry about sharing! She enjoyed it. Whole Colorado striped bass. A server offered to debone it for us so we took him up on it, but recognized it still has lots of bones. I really liked the fish seasoning and it was tender and moist. The horseradish sauce was a nice surprise and complemented well. Yummy successful meal overall and my 80yo parents are excited to return! I missed the burrata, Caesar salad, and tomahawk steak that I've really enjoyed on previous visits, but I was very happy to try more of the menu. I wish I could eat here every day! Loved the vibe as soon as we walked in. The restaurant is beautiful, dim lighting and unique decor. The food was good but I personally wouldn't say it's out of this world. Our server was great, super attentive and eager to make recommendations. The only thing I didn't like was the cutting boards that they serve the meat on - they all were cracked (as many wooden cutting boards tend to do after much use and washing) and caused a big mess on the table. All amazing, but the lamb and brownie I would HIGHLY recommend. It wasn't overly sweet and the ice cream pairing - best ice cream ever! They have ample seating downstairs (usually reservation only), with limited upstairs and bar seating. Let me start this review with the bartenders being very friendly. Tiffany was very helpful in making selections and a great conversationalist which was greatly appreciated. I gave the rating of a two (2) due to the steaks being grossly overcooked. The mushroom dip was delicious and the veal was okay. And I have no clue what the hostess had against us but we came in and did not have a reservation but the restaurant was empty. She made it seem to be a big issue and offered us a table that we would have to finish our meal within an hour because everything was booked. We asked to sit at the bar and she seemed hesitant but she eventually agreed. The problem here is that two (2) hours later the restaurant was not even half full and everyone she sent to the bar to sit, let's say looked nothing like her. 4 -- Solid Restaurant Week experience with a few small misses Visited Carne Rino for Denver Restaurant Week. Overall it was a strong meal with great pasta and a quality steak, though a few execution details kept it just short of a 5-star experience. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and the service started out attentive and polished. As the dining room filled up, the pacing slowed a bit and the flow of the meal became slightly uneven. Beef Tartare The beef itself seemed fresh, but the dish lacked seasoning and brightness. The menu listed it as being served with a "tostada," though it came with tortilla chips that felt closer to a store-bought variety. There was also a green sauce underneath that tasted very similar to deli-style guacamole, which made the dish feel less refined than expected. Vodka Pasta One of the highlights of the meal. The pasta was cooked properly al dente, and the vodka sauce was flavorful with a light, pleasant spice. The Parmesan on top added a nice balance of saltiness and creaminess. Picanha Steak The steak itself was a beautiful medium rare and clearly a good quality cut. It was finished with salt after cooking, which added a nice pop of flavor. The only downside was that it arrived slightly cold. The chimichurri had good flavor but leaned very heavily on cumin. Brownie Dessert Chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce over a brownie. The ice cream was good, but the brownie underneath was quite dry and the amount of chocolate sauce overwhelmed the dessert. Service & Drinks Service was attentive early on, but once the restaurant got busy the pacing slowed and the courses took longer to arrive. One thing to note: the bar charges extra for a dirty martini and an additional charge for olives, which wasn't mentioned when ordering. Overall: Great pasta, a quality steak, and a fun atmosphere. We recently celebrated our anniversary dinner there and had a great time. Right of the bat, the vibe in there is really cool and mid mod retro without feeling dated. The space was pretty small but it did look like there was a second level of seating. The cook on the steaks was nice, but the cuts themselves seemed kinda off? Like my NY strip seemed suspiciously like a tri tip. Went for my meat loving son's 18th birthday celebration. What a meal! The room is lively and fun, without being too noisy. Our server was excellent, professional and helpful. We have been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally made reservations on Resy and got it done. Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday evening and was greeted kindly . Place is vibe . Check out the pictures. The food is meant to be shared and that's exactly what we did . The expresso martini was delicious it's on tap and full of nitro . We also had table side martinis and the presentation is amazing. A cart full of items to make your martini as clean or dirty as you want topped with a variety of olives . We came for the meat after all it's called Carne. The filet was cooked to perfection and the rosemary pepper rub was delicious but not overwhelming. The Brazilian Picanha was served with green chimichurri and was full of flavor and served with love. The short Rib was another plate we ordered that was so tender and went well with the green chili potatoes we ordered as a side that can hold their ground on their own with heartiness and taste. One of my new favorite restaurants in Denver! I dream about steak ALL the time, as it's something I love to eat but don't create enough opportunities for. I've been wanting to try Carne since it opened, so my friend and I came here for early happy hour. It was empty at 4pm obviously, but I recommend making reservations regardless. We both shared Oysters, Beef Tiradito, and Fondue. The Tiradito, as recommended by our waiter, was incredible. Disappointed by the Fondue, but let's pretend I didn't eat any. The rosemary-black pepper rubbed 8oz Bavette with chimichurri was the highlight. Perfectly cooked medium rare and definitely my go-to food when I need a pick-me-up. The inside of the restaurant is spacious. The high ceilings feel luxurious. Lots of staff seem newer, but everyone is nice. I enjoyed the cocktails, ordering one of each from the happy hour menu. I'd be curious to try more items on the menu, but I think the Beef Tiradito and Bavette were an unbeatable combination. I look forward to coming back! read more

Woah! This place happy hour is amazing!!! I wish I took pictures! I got the spicy margarita-style cocktail and it was sooo delicious! we just got happy hour bites. The dry rub wings (only 2) were cooked to perfection! So crispy yet the meat was juicy and tender. Even though there were only two I was super satisfied and if I were hungrier I would've ordered another round! The smashburger was excellent. Not the best in Denver, but really really really solid. I would get it again if i came back! The onions and pickles are so tasty and the quality of the beef is outstanding! Not gonna lie, the fries that came with it were super mid. What are ya gonna do. We had a reservation, which was good, because even mid-week it was popular. There were so many interesting things on the menu, we went a little crazy in ordering. First up -- a charcuterie plate AND a bread plate. Cheese was yummy, olives were salty, and the three of us happily shared. The South American Roasted Fish is whole and wholly impressive! It's served with a horseradish sauce that didn't seem to work with the delicate fish, but we sure enjoyed it with ... The steak entree we had. I apologize, I think it was the tri-tip, but I didn't write it down, I was too busy chowing down. Somewhere in this evening, either with the appetizers or the steak, we had a chorizo pate that was TO DIE FOR! And I don't like chorizo! It looked a little like a smooth tomato paste, and the flavor was hard to describe and hard to stop eating. I could have eaten just that all evening. We love Work and Class so wanted to try their sister restaurant! We started with the burrata, which was yummy. I got the hangar steak and my boyfriend got the NY strip. Hangar was 10/10, melt in your mouth. Strip was good but we think they got our temps mixed up- little more cooked than wanted and slightly chewy. The creamed spinach was amazing. We got the chimichurri sauce and steak sauce. If you like martinis, get the tableside martini- the idea and setup is so fun and cute. Tables are super close together which some people don't love but I didn't mind. I like the dark retro vibe they have going. Carne, the New RiNo Steakhouse From Chef Dana Rodriguez, opened July 3, 2024 in the RiNo neighborhood of the Denver, Colorado at 26th St and Larimer St.  It was a delightful dining experience.  The hearty heaping portion of the Ceasar Salad was fresh, crisp, flavorful and had great capers. Those capers! Bread service was warm, buttery with green chimmichurry good.  The sirloin wagyu cooked to medium rare was the highlight. Melt-in-your-mouth delicious.  Spiced to perfection. I praise it highly.  The staff were helpful with answering questions and passed our compliments to the chefs.  The decor and atmosphere was hip and inviting.  Give Carne a try. Awesome new restaurant alert! My roommate & I were walking Larimer 2 weeks ago and they were handing out fire samples promoting their grand opening so we had to come back - it did not disappoint! We tried the Caesar salad, burrata with tomatoes, French fries, and Peruvian pollo asado. Everything we got was great and came out quickly. Additionally, this place has awesome cocktails garnished to perfection. Our waiter was very tentative, and we even had a manager come out and check on us. We sat outside and they had a nice patio. Inside was 40 minute wait, so ensure you have a reservation if it's a weekend! read more

Amazing vibes, great service, and the food is some of the best in denver. I'm GF (preference) and can eat 90% of the menu, including the desserts. Our server Cara was awesome and also told us how the owner is gluten free and made all the deserts as such to make sure those who are GF can have a good desert experience. The table side martinis are 1000/10. A must try! read more
