Came for Saturday brunch and had a lovely experience. It was emptier that expected so very easy to get a table without a wait. Our waitress was fantastic, I wish I remembered her name. She provided the best service I've experienced at a restaurant in a while. She gave realistic opinions on the food selections and knew the menu very well. Her food recommendations were great. We came at a time during brunch and happy hour so did a little of both. The bison gumbo was flavorful. The garlic and herb oysters were also good. We got both the shrimp and grits and the catfish and grits. The crawfish cream sauce over the grits was delicious, the shrimp was seasoned well, and the catfish was crispy. Overall we enjoyed everything we ordered and had a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Returned to Revival for brunch. I was a bit disappointed in this return visit. Food and service weren't up to par compared to previous visits. The crab dip had a fishier taste than usual, so my friend couldn't eat it. The wings are listed as an entree, so I ordered them to meet the bottomless mimosa requirement. The wings had good flavor and were filling, but it was just a sad-looking plate--too much negative space. Much of what we were served no longer matched what we used to get or what is on the website. And my mimosa did, in fact, reach the bottom, and I had to request a refill from my server each time, despite the restaurant not being very busy.

Revival Denver Public House is a great neighborhood spot in Uptown for just about any occasion. They focus on approachable American comfort food and the menu reflects that with dishes like shrimp and grits, crab cakes, oysters, and gumbo. It's the kind of place you can go for brunch, lunch, or dinner and find something that hits the spot. Brunch is especially popular, with bottomless mimosas on the weekends and a lively but still relaxed atmosphere. They also host crawfish boil Sundays every other week, which brings a fun, social energy with live music and a more interactive dining experience. Overall, it's a reliable spot whether you're meeting friends for drinks, grabbing a casual meal, or looking for something a little more lively on the weekends.

Honestly this was the start to an amazing birthday!! I was greeted immediately upon entry and seated quickly. I can't recommend them enough omggggggggggg! I love crab cakes and I actually saw a item (Crab cake Benedict) on their menu from tiktok but it was on their weekend menu but i was then ushered to try the Maryland crab cakes and of course I also ordered the fried catfish and grits. The grits were creamy and well done, the cat fish was the perfect crunch, the catfish looked beautiful once I cracked the exterior. Honestly between both meals I couldn't choose between which one taste better. You'll have to take my word for it!

I stopped by Revival Denver Public House after a bourbon run to nearby Argonaut and was really glad I did. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, which came with a generous portion of grilled chicken breast, cheddar, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and their Colorado White BBQ sauce. The flavors worked perfectly together -- hearty, fresh, and satisfying. The space itself is beautiful, with warm, stylish touches and a standout sunflower wallpaper that gives the bar a welcoming, cheerful vibe. Between the great food, inviting decor, and friendly atmosphere, Revival is definitely a spot I'd come back to next time I'm in the neighborhood.

They had a 75 cent wing special so I got a dozen. They aren't even worth 75 cents. The sauce is fine but it was a bad experience over all. I'm not kidding when I say these were the smallest wings I've ever seen. After getting through what was mostly breading, I managed to get twelve microscopic bites of chicken and decided to get a second dinner.

Happy Hour - wings and oysters

Docking one star because the online dinner menu labels the chicken wings as gluten free but found out (luckily before eating them) that they are cross contaminated in the same fryer. Sad face. BUT, my gluten eating husband spoke very highly of them and appreciated variety in sauce. I can speak to the oysters which were fresh and delicious. The roasted garlic butter ones were offered GF. Staff was very kind, especially our waiter who was super knowledgeable on celiac disease. Fun atmosphere, hopping for happy hour!

Fabulous first time visit! I split the crab dip with a friend and had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were bursting with flavor. Our server was so sweet, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening! I enjoy the interior aesthetic and am excited to return for a live music event. Definitely give it a try!

We loved this place for what it was before way back when. We love it more now (and glad they didn't change the setup too much). We make the little bit extra drive still, even though we aren't a half block away like before. The layout is fantastic. Tables with a view of fun 17th street, a great bar area, and if the bar is full, there is cool community bar top thing in the middle. A little bit of elegance, history, and great vibes. This is a place where you can catch happy hour, eat a good meal, have a delightful date night, listen to live music, attend special events (like with CRAB), meet up with friends, etc. Alex was our bartender, and he was that perfect mix of cool and efficient. Perfect service. The only time he disappeared momentarily was when I realized that him and one server were handling the bar people and a good amount of tables. He was all over the place, giving great service to bar and tables. Good drink and food are a good experience. Great service elevates all of that. They don't have a craft beer hh special (hint hint please), but I will never argue with $4 Coors Lights either. For my wife, wine was $2 off. We will get their $3 fries next time, but for this time, we rolled with $8 wings, $2 oysters, and a unique $12 crab...pretzel. Genius whoever thought of putting those two things together. Wife loved her oysters, and I got the Colorado white sauce for my wings, and the sauce was magical. Lots of other good deals, but stomachs only have so much room, and people only have so much time. Whether you catch live music or not, the energy is always good here. This time, we caught the reggae station, and it was perfect. Thanks, Alex, for the awesome service, and thanks, Revival for keeping it real. Oh, and this is a fun street to explore once done with food and drink here. We always look forward to coming here, and so should you, folks. I highly recommend this place, and see you there...

Stopped by for brunch and it was a fun and relaxed vibe. Our server was super nice, and the food was good and unique than other places in Denver. The oxtail arancini was something I've never seen on a menu in Colorado before!

Bowl of Crab and Crawfish Bisque

The food here is really not that good, maybe the burgers. There were two cornbread muffins ordered and the were both undercooked in the center. It's a shame because the edges were good and the flavor was nice. The crawfish in the bisque was very overdone and there was no crab in it. the Brussels had far too much balsamic vinegar and were over fried and burnt. The mac n cheese was hearty. The place had a fantastic vibe and great music. I would go back for that alone. They were out of several mocktails so we didn't try any. We were told a waiter would be with us soon and they didn't show so the gal that sat us took care of us. She was nice and attentive and did well serving our group of 5

Are kids allowed to eat here?

I don't see why not! I don't think they have a designated kids menu though

    Is there a kids menu?

No, but several of the items on the main menu would be good for kids as well.

When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience.
