I do not like to leave such scrutinized reviews, but this one is WELL deserved. Save your money and go somewhere better if you are downtown! This location is a disgrace compared to the Littleton location. All three of our burgers that were ordered medium rare came out very well done, our sides were hardly warm, and our server was not great either. He made sure we knew he was having a bad day. Everyone has bad days, but that is no excuse to treat paying customers like they are a bother. He lacked attentiveness, and seemed to really care less we were there- even when we needed something. This was during trivia on a Wednesday and was even in the slow and quiet section. My burger was one of their fancy winning burgers and it was more like a loser burger. Aside from being overcooked it lacked flavor (not juicy at all probably from overcooking), the pork belly somehow had no flavor either! Supposedly there was some sort of fruit jam on it? Did not taste that either. I had to slather it in ketchup and I don't even usually eat ketchup on my burgers. Came here when we couldn't brave the cold weather at the Rockies game. It's a super short walk, pretty much across the street. We got a table immediately and our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a great spot to watch sports, they have tons of tvs and games playing everywhere. We started with the crispy mac & cheese bites which were good, not amazing. My husband got the Cricket Royale and he said it was one of best burgers he's ever had. I made my own burger, and chose the Little Cricket which is a smaller patty (1/4 lb), and went for a BBQ burger situation and added American cheese, bacon, and the ancho apricot bbq sauce. It was a great burger and I love that you can completely customize your burger. We also split the frings which is a half order of fries and half onion rings and a side of cricket sauce - these were so good! The cricket sauce was 10/10. This is one of the very First restaurants I visited when I moved here. I did not know it was a chain. Well, I guess it's a local chain but the burgers are consistently decent. This isn't my favorite burger place in Denver, but I also am not a beef eater. I like the turkey burgers and unfortunately they have taken turkey off the menu at this location, so you're only left with a black bean patty. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the black bean patties. I think it depends on how it's cooked and if it's seasoned well but I typically would order a specific burger and swap the patio out for a turkey patty, but I am unable to do that anymore. So it definitely looks like I will be looking for another local place that has good burgers bad daddy's is much much better. The service is pretty good here the bars where I typically sit and obviously they're pretty attentive there and the restaurant has multiple levels in terms of stairs and it's extremely open and I'm sure it gets super busy during games. Overall the vibe is always playing sports lots of guys and it's pretty loud during the day. I would say, though that it has declined in the four years that I've lived here. A chain restaurant that has been around Denver for over 50 years. Their legacy is fading fast due to hiring of staff that have absolutely no idea of customer service, or that they work for tips. We went to this particular location to meet a college friend who was going to the Mets v. Rockies game. We called ahead to ask some questions about reservations. I spoke with someone whom English was their second language and was not bilingual. They not only don't take reservations but you can't call in advance to be placed on wait list. I spoke with a young Hispanic woman and when I asked how long the wait was. She immediately asked if our entire party was here. I said no and again asked how long the wait was and she still did not answer my question. I told her that I didn't want to argue with her and she told me that I was arguing with myself. (Note: We were not going to even put our name in if there was a long wait). She finally told me there was no wait but refused to let us put our name on the list even though our last person was parking the car. I told her I was "done with talking to her". She then proceeded to speak in Spanish to her co-worker about the situation. I finally had enough and went to find a manager who assured me that her behavior was not appropriate and would speak with her. By the time we finally were able to put our name down it was a 30 minute wait. She seated several parties and never acknowledged us. I finally went up to her and asked both her and her male counterparts name. His was Humberto and she responded "What for?" I replied "for customer service and she told me it was Maria. When she left the booth to seat parties that came in after us, I told Humberto that I was not upset with him and he actually immediately Sat us at a large table. Like most restaurants, you have a waiter that takes your orders and brings your drinks, a server/runner that brings your food, and others clearing tables. Our waiter Draven was pleasant, prompt, and patient because we all had a lot of questions regarding the menu. Since it is a sports bar, the noise level is very loud so difficult to hear with our larger party. We were fortunate that we were seated closer to restrooms and arcade, and away from the bar. The food was very good but two of our burgers were not prepared as requested. I did track down a manager who did expedite my replacement burger. We were never offered a discount or even a free beverage or dessert by either Manager I spoke with. I doubt I would return to this restaurant again with so many food options in Denver. read more

The food was good, but the service was pretty bad. We came for my girlfriend's birthday dinner and were excited to come here for the first time because we've heard good things. She tried to order a drink (her ID expires that next day because of her birthday) and our server was really weird about it. He refused service and didn't even wish her a happy birthday. It felt like the service and customer connection was lost because of the fear of a sting? Totally understandable, but a simple "I'm sorry I can't serve you because your ID expires tomorrow, but happy birthday!!" Would have been totally acceptable, instead he was rude. This restaurant/bar is huge. It is located in the shadow of Coors Field. They have a huge patio area that is out in the street in front of the place and a huge dining area. They also have a lounge area by a fireplace, a couple of private sections, a full bar with seating, and an arcade. There are a bunch of televisions around the bar and dining area for patrons to watch and music playing throughout. You will find a to-go area in the front on the bar as well. I loved their huge aquarium that they have in the middle of the floor and the arcade has skee-ball, pop-a-shoot, air hockey, pin ball, a huge Space Invaders wall, video games, a cut and win booth and a photo booth. There is also seating in the arcade area too. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They place is very hip and trendy. They have a menu full of pub favorites and parking garages/lots nearby. Even though it is a big place, I can see it getting packed before and after a ball game on a nice day. They also have a full bar with signature cocktails and a huge beer list. They run daily specials so, be sure to keep an eye out for those. I sat at the bar and ordered the 303 Green Chile Relleno Burger with a side of steak fries. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food. It was warm, fresh and tasty. My burger was full and unique. I got my fries with the black pepper seasoning, which I highly recommend. I was on a tight schedule and managed to make it in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. This is definitely the place to be, especially on game day. Located on Blake St & 22nd St near Coors Field. We were introduced to this spot while on a 'Food Tour', and we had to return to try other food items. It's a pretty big & spacious restaurant with a bar & arcade section, such an awesome place to hang out and have a good time. The restaurant is clean and organized with a good ambiance. Restrooms are clean. I liked their opinion to 'Build your own Burger' even it's size. I tired their 'Little Cricket Burger' which consists of 1/4 lb meat, Pickles, Lettuce & tomato...I added grilled onions & BBQ sauce with half order of 'Onion Rings' accompanied with a 'Coco Mango cooler' cocktail, all tasted delicious and very satisfying. Shout out to our server, Maggie who was very attentive and helpful with the menu. She made sure we were good the entire time. Perfect spot to grab some food and/or drinks before a game. I had only been to the Cherry Cricket location before and have enjoyed pretty much everything I've tried there. I ordered some wings and mixed two of their sauces as was recommended by their waiter. It was delicious and had a great kick to it. I would say that these are hands-down, the best burgers in Denver. We had several of their award-winning specials plus a couple of build your own and of course they're famous frings ( fries/onion rings), and everyone walked away happy. Their ranch is homemade and terrific and I found out this visit that you can put pork belly on your hamburger which I'm super sad I didn't know before I ate my meal, but will definitely be back and I will definitely be trying it. The wheelchair accessibility at this location is actually really well done. There is wide path of travel. The doors are generally light and there's plenty of seating options throughout the entire restaurant. They have stair lifts to get to the higher levels and grab bars in the bathroom. The bathroom sink is a little weird and the front door is a little heavy. They also have some arcade games which were a fun way to end the night. All in all 100% worth a stop if you're in Denver. read more

Finally, I was able to try this place after hearing about the burgers for years and was not disappointed until the end of the meal, which I talked about at the end of the review. Beyond that, it's a beautiful location across the street from Coors Field. It's a classic contemporary bar/restaurant. The beautiful 360° cylindrical fish tank when you walk in is an instant eye-catching display! A raised bar area with tables and street view seating was very nice. An addition seating area next to a nice arcade area is a fun addition. The menu has build your own burgers and some other classic bar food choices. The servers and manager were extremely nice and helpful! We started with drinks and chips and queso($9). The Witches Brew($11) is a tequila and grapefruit drink that was very tequila heavy and also very good! The Samoa($15) is a coconut rum based vanilla shake with chocolate and Carmel swirls. It's also very good!! Very rich! The queso is meh. Nothing really special, kind of taste like it's just jarred pre-made queso. Chips were fresh and crispy, though, with a good amount of salt. Next, we had the 983 Big Cheesy burger($16.50), which was loaded with mac-n-cheese, jalapeno cheddar cheetos, a fried poblano pepper, bacon jam and American cheese! One of their most popular burgers for a reason!!! It's delicious! The right amount of spicy, not too hot, and the jam is a sweet little backer for all the flavor! I ordered it cooked medium and it was perfect! A rare feat for restaurants these days, it seems! We also had the Vera Cruz burger($16.50). A 1/2lb patty topped with bacon jam, crispy onions, pepper jack cheese, and a garlic aioli. It was a lot more savory than the 983 burger. It was also cooked perfectly! It was a very good burger as well but was taken over the edge when adding some BBQ sauce to it!! We also had the Frings - a combo of onion rings and fries($8.50) and a half order of fries($4). Both the onion rings and fries were awesome! The onion rings were perfectly battered and cooked! Crispy and delicious! The seasoned fries are cooked beautifully, too! Crispy and flavorful, and neither the fries or rings come out overly greasy!! We also had The build your own burger with fried onions, gluten free bun, cheese, and bacon, came out to $20, and a half order of steak fries was $4.50 as well. The burger was very good, the GF bun was meh... kind of dry and fell apart, but what can you do. A couple of negatives that I came across is that they charge $1 for a small little side of BBQ sauce, $.75 for a little side of Honey Mustard, and they also charge a 3.5% service charge, which they say is to provide increased wages for non tipped employees. I hate this! When they bring you the check, they just come and tell you the total and don't give you a breakdown or tell you about the surcharge until after you pay and request a receipt! To me, this is kind of deceitful and sneaky. I'm not a fan of surcharges and especially ones that are hidden from you! It was a disappointing ending to an otherwise great meal. 2-cocktails, an appetizer, 3 burgers and fries came out to $110. An expensive lunch for sure, but the food was very good! read more

Came in for the first time on a Monday evening for drink and apps and I had a great time. This bar is huge with lots of great food and drink selection. I had great service as well. I had the blackberry smash which was sweet a delicious and the passion fruit drink which was not my favorite. To eat we had the chicken tenders which were crispy and made in house! There were delicious and didn't taste like they came from a bag. We also tried the pretzels bites with queso which I loved because it didn't have those huge pieces of salt.
