Last few visits were very disappointing. Appointments felt rushed and the energy was just off. You can definitely feel when they are frustrated as employees when your in the salon. Myself and client next to me were unhappy with our designs. The client next to me was much better at speaking up I kind of gave up after I noticed she wasn't making the changes I asked for. The tips on my acrylic nails were placed at different angles you could definitely tell they were straight and I mentioned I wanted them shorter multiple times and felt ignored. My friends and family have been customers for over fifteen years and it seems we all have noticed a big change in effort and it doesn't feel good not being happy with the service and spending $65+ on it unfortunate I kept trying to like the outcome but I've given up. I've come here pretty often I just haven't had the opportunity to review. Like any nail salon, it has the favorite techs, mine would be Kathy. She does a really good job every time, you can tell she takes her time with her work which is really appreciated. i'd much rather them take an hour to do a manicure instead of 30 minutes if it meant they would come out nicer. overall the establishment is great, very friendly and clean. I got a full set along with a pedicure. oh! only thing I would like would be more care for around the nails. other nail salons will cut hangnails or fix cuticles, so that could be added. read more

This is not a "you get what you pay for salon" because it's relatively still more inexpensive than other salons but with quality work! Went here a couple weeks ago, worst decision ever. I had acrylics and just wanted to get a fill, however the lady (seemed to be an owner) insisted that I needed to completely remove the acrylics in order to get new ones. She began clipping my acrylics off, did not even soak them!! She was having trouble removing one of my acrylics so she asked another worker to come and help her fully remove it. As they proceeded to remove the acrylic, my NAIL RIPPED OFF WITH IT!!! They did not have any concern for my actual nails or properly removing acrylics as they should've been done. I haven't gotten acrylics ever since. Recommend you spend your earned money somewhere else! Better safe than sorry read more

QUESTION for any recent customers...is there still a MAN, nail tech. working there? I used to go there many years ago, and he was the only one I would book with. Hands-down, he was the best there! I tried to call but got no answer. I need a fill and have recently had a full set, and 1 fill done in the E. Valley nail shop next to Albertsons. Not pleased with them. The last fill is trash these are coffin nails with gel paint. But you can't really tell they're anything but square. Mine are wider at the point they're supposed to thin out), rushed, and they're lumpy w/dips in them from the side view. I've been coming to Cherry nails for the past 7-8 years. I've only had a couple times I was unhappy (nothing serious) and all in all, they do a GREAT job. I've had to come back bc I messed my pedicure up and they've always fixed it right away and for free even though it was my fault. I have ingrown toenails and they always dig them out for me. I always get the French tip and the callous remover treatment (I wear sandals a lot and don't want the dead dry skin look). They have newer chairs and flooring and a good aesthetic to the place. They don't have a lot of turnover, actually none really. The same girls are here that I met in 2013 when I first started coming and they know what I want every time. I like the vibe here. Everyone has a good attitude and will talk to you as much or as little as you like. I recommend going when they first open at 9am if you don't want to wait bc they are a busy little salon. I try to go 15 mins before they open and they're always gracious enough to get me in a chair right away. I'm pretty loyal to them as I have gone elsewhere a time a two (only because Cherry Nails was booked up) and not been as happy as I am here. Preface: I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years, in many cities and shops. All I can say is that the place is clean. Had my nails done here as it's close to home. To begin, the margins were not finished correctly (extra acrylic left on the sides), the middle was smooth but uneven in places, several of my nails were curved up. At this point I'm out of time and patience. One week later the acrylic is lifting all around the edges. In regards to pricing it's not cheaper than any place else. Everything seems to be "extra." This place is a diamond in the rough we went to the omelette House across the street that was excellent and we're looking for something to do and we found cherry nails we were greeted promptly we are given special treatment and they have a special for children 10 and under which we took advantage of! This place over books. They don't acknowledge appointments appropriately. I made an appointment for a pedicure I arrived 15 mins early... they made me wait 30 mins, they sat me down after 45 mins of being there, then waited another 10 mins in the chair with my feet soaked in just water. This is a total of an hr of just waiting. It's ridiculous! They need to plan out their bookings accordingly. I ended leaving without an apology for the hour wait. I told the manicurist this before she began. She gave me round nails and said that the point would not look good. I got a spider web on my index fingers for halloween and I wanted it done in black. The lady told me black wouldn't look good, that white would like better and then did the webs in white. There is a reason so few reviews and only one photo. They don't know what they are doing. I asked for ped before set put on fingers so my toes dry. They said no we put on quick dry no problem. I've been getting nails for 20 years I've never had pedi done last. When I sat down to get set the guy only did first quater of nails sanded. I asked about need for whole nail sanded so fill attaches he said oh I do that later. I walked out! Like I said had sets for over 20 uears, either he doesn't sand the whole nail and they pop off fast or he takes 2 hours to do a set. Either way not good. Just got text calling me "crazy woman!" In response to my yelp review. Not sure that is good response or good marketing to your primary customers, women. Might want to think about that one sir. Also, ur nails last 3 weeks? No one says that in your reviews. Doesn't make sense because nails grow out so there would be three week gap? Nails would look bad last week. Like I said getting nails done 20 years. The very first time I got zebra print tips were from here. I thought that they would hand draw it, but no, they airbrushed the stripes. They looked pretty decent when the end results were finished, but I was a little disappointed. I kinda expected more. I got a couple of compliments about my nails, but I've had better. When I walked in, I was welcomed by Mr.Le and he was the guy who did my nails (looks can be deceiving). He was gentle with my hands and he took his time perfecting every nail. His precision is accurate and on point. This place is extremely cheap compared to all the other nail salons, and trust me I've been to a lot! He's shy and a very nice gentle man. I am giving this place 2 stars because I did not get what I asked for . I went in for a fill (I had powder nails before ) I asked if I could see their powder colors but the person that helped me said to pick from their samples that that's where all powders were. I didn't get the powder I ended up getting gel put on (didn't understand what I meant) I asked for a burgundy color & they started putting black. I stopped them and they said they were going to mix black & red to make the color I wanted . Had them take it off and get a different complete color, i got gel because they couldn't put powder anymore it was just not fun . One of the ladies gave me attitude because I didn't want the black! Below is the color I ended up with it's cute ! But now there's black on the side my nails look ugly and they were left super scratchy and no filed . Don't think I'll be going back. read more

I went back and got my nails done. NOT IMPRESSED. I asked for "round" nails and got square, that dug in to the edges of my fingers. I have now clipped and or picked all of my finger nails down to the quick to stop the annoying feeling. Also my polish is far from the edges of my fingers. I under stand not going all the way to the edge to cut down on the excess but really I can see the pink of my nail from arms length away. My pedicure was good despite the fact that my nails are long and square even though I asked for them to be short and round. NOT HAPPY! Only thing keeping this from a one star is that it was clean and they didn't cut me. read more

I also like that they don't chatter a lot with each other in their own language because sometimes it could feel uncomfortable that they're talking about the customers. I've gotten my nails done here a couple times and honestly, it's one of the best places I've ever been to. Lee was my nail artist and he was very consistent all the times I went here. They have lots of designs you can choose from. They do air brush design, glitter powder, and pretty much anything you want. Cherry nails is relatively cheap compared to a lot of places. I wont even give them 1 star they are in such a hurry to play their games that they rush through pedicures and don't even scrub your feet. even if you ask them to its like they rush through it. I then asked for sandals to put on my feet so I didn't have to put my shoes on and she stated no just walk on the floor.
