fast service .. can't do designs nails lasted 6 days before they started bending and popping off. felt like my cuticles were under attack while getting them done. I won't be back

I was a walk in and got serviced right away with a friend and we both got full sets. They did awesome work! I showed them a photo of what I wanted and they did the color and design to the tee. My nails also lasted 3 weeks to almost a month without breaking. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Post removal of lashes. Swollen, red and painful eyes. Never again.

Here is an outstanding example of how you get what you pay for. I wanted eyelash extensions for my wedding and wanted to test them out first. Cherry is one of the only places in the area who listed their prices for eyelash extentions online and seemed reasonable. Most salons are charging in excess of $100. Cherry was $30. The room where they do the lashes, waxing, etc was really gross. Dirty, small, with two places for people to lay down to get treatments. The process of putting on the lashes was relatively painless and the final result was not really what I was going for. The amount of glue used to affix them make them all clumpy and I decided this was probably not the way to go for my wedding. But I figured I would live with it for a couple of weeks until they started to fall out. The lashes started falling out a couple of days ago (about 10 days after the application). Today I decided they all needed to be removed because they were starting to look pretty silly. That's when the fun started. It took me over an hour of agony to pry the lashes off my face and in the process managed to remove more than 1/2 of my existing lashes. There was SO MUCH GLUE that you couldn't even remove one lash at a time. They were all stuck to each other so you had to loosen them up all together and then try to scrape them off gently without pulling out the natural lashes. This does not work at all. So my opinion is this. If you are looking for lash extensions bite the bullet and go to the fancy salon and pay the money for the good ones. Save yourself the agony of cheap, poorly applied lashes.

I just have to say for the 3rd time how amazing this nail salon is. I've never had a bad manicure here ever. I'm moving away and am very sad that I won't be able to come here anymore. My last manicure was the best one yet: ombré dip with tips. They take their time and treat you like friends/family, and deserve every penny you pay them.

I went in at nearly 5pm on a weekday and there was no wait. They did my pedi and mani at the same time and it was well done, especially the pedicure! Took their time, no rushing. My nails look great and it only cost $33.00 for both.

    Left toenail

Had acrylic nails put on followed by gel polish 3 weeks ago. I also received a pedicure with polish the same day. I took the polish off my toes as it was starting to fade, and also noticed that my left big toenail was starting to lift. After removing the polish I found that the entire nail had lifted and was moldy. I then went to another establishment to have the acrylic fingernails taken off and found there to be mold under all of my fingernails as well! I went to the dr about my toenail, where the majority of the nail that had rotted was removed and was given an antibiotic cream, and was told the nail may not ever grow back properly. I simply went to the salon to explain what had happened, showed proof that that services were done there and all I asked for was a refund. I tried to talk privately so that the current customers in the store did not hear and resolve the issue peacefully. The 3 staff members that came to speak to me immediately became defensive. Saying "well we don't t know what happened" as I was showing them my mold ridden nails and offered to pay me 1/2 of a refund of 34$! Mind you I may have permanently lost a toenail! I was also told that I "should have come back right away when the mold started not 3 weeks later when I had to point out that I had no way of knowing until the nail started to life as there was polish over them all! He said that if I came back in 2 months and the nail still did not grow back he would issue the rest of the refund!!!????? At the end they did not even give me the half they offered but said they would have the owner call me back in a WEEK to discuss?! As a business owner I would have done anything and everything to make the situation right then and there, not give the customer an attitude and go back on resolution. Horrific business practices.

Pink & White fills with Lee

This was my first time at Cherry (or any Worcester nail salon). I was really close by since I go to Becker, but I called first to see if they took AMEX (which they do, yay) and asked about availability for a pink & white fill which they had. Lee was my nail tech, and she did a very nice job. Not chatty with me at all, but I don't care about that. She was nice, and thorough while working. Pretty gentle with her drills which is the kind of tech I need. I usually like the whites to be a bit thinner with more nail bed, and I like the smile lines to be a bit more curved, BUT she did ask me after the first white she sculpted on my pinky, and I said ok. It's just hard to tell with the tiniest finger, but I know for next time. It's nothing fancy here, just your typical small but cozy Vietnamese nail spot. The atmosphere is super casual where the techs chat with each other in Vietnamese & answer their phones, so if you're looking for a Day Spa feel, you probably won't be happy here. My fills cost $35 (not sure what regular price is, but I had 6 weeks of growth with 2 half-lifted nails), and I was able to leave tip on the card. I'll come back again. :) Can't speak for any other services..yet.

Staff is nice, but facility is small and crowded. Didn't seem very sanitary.

I had an amazing mani/pedi with Ti (pronounced Tee) and was very impressed with his attention to detail.

Tia's awesome! I've searched high and low all over…read moreWorcester to find someone that can cut hair, specifically Asian hair. After looking at the other reviews, I took my chance with Tia and ever since, she's been amazing. She's honest when it comes to color option and what would look good on you and I trust her opinion than my own.

It was my first time going to Tia's as it will certainly be my last…read more I came into Tias with hopes that she will help me dye my hair from blonde to silver. During the process, it seemed promising as she had contacted me via text to book and confirm an appointment. I was excited to get my hair done by her. Unfortunately, the outcome was terrible. I left the salon first with wet hair, because she charges to style your hair. So if you choose to not let her style your hair and pay for it, expect to leave the salon with hair as wet as a puppy. Since I left with my hair wet, I couldn't see much of the color, and it was not until I returned home that I saw how poorly she did. From the outside, my hair looked good. The color was nice. But when I looked closely, I saw beneath, how uneven she dyed my hair and even better, how blotchy some spots were. My hair was three different colors, gray, blonde and black (as my roots are black and the blonde was my previous color) I messaged her back and told her I liked the color but I was confused as to why it was so uneven. She tried to blame it on her assistant (who only washed my hair) and told me I would have to come back. I understood that I would have to come back to get the true silver that I had desired, but I did not know I would have to come back to have even color in my hair. She tried to brush it off as if it was okay. I gave it a day before I thought about it, kept starring at my hair and became frustrated. I then contacted her again as she told me I can come in to fix that spot or I can come in for highlights. First, I did not want to come in to fix "that spot" that was uneven because it was more than one spot, it was the majority of my hair beneath. I did not trust her to touch my hair at all. Second, even though she offered me highlights, why would I pay her to give me highlights when I don't want highlights? On top of that, eventually she had someone else reply to me on her behalf via text message as she copied and pasted the same response to me twice. She tried to tell me it was the color, but the color was not the problem, as I had told her repetitively. On top of that, she tried to send me a before and after picture of how good my hair looked from the outside, completely disregarding how it looked beneath. So I asked her for a refund and after going back and forth she told me she doesn't give refunds after I paid her $130 plus $20 for tip. It was not until realized how poor her service was that a few locals told me I am not the first client to complain, I may just be the first client to speak up about it. So after I paid her a total of $150 to ruin my hair, I had to go get it done elsewhere and even go to Sally's to try to fix it myself. Even though she told me I can come back for "highlights" or to "re-tone" my hair after she had unevenly toned it, why would I trust her to touch my hair again?
