I am surprised this place is even allowed to operate due to the many health hazards I witnessed when getting my nails done. I should have got up and left. But I stayed and got the worst manicure of my life and spent a lot more getting it corrected at another nail shop. I'm just really fortunate that's all I left with because I imagine people are getting fungus there and other health problems. Cherry Nails is so good that they've ruined my expectations for all nail salons. Although it's a unexpected hole in the wall, without the makings of a fancy spa, Cherry Nails will wow you. They take pride in their work, spending an almost unnecessary amount of time on pedicures for what they charge. I have a gel manicure done regularly, and it looks better and lasts longer than any other nail salon's work I've experienced. The staff is very friendly and nice, and they're very sociable. (They always ask me how my roommate is if she doesn't come with me!) Nothing fancy at first glance, but they are the only place to go if you want nice results. Without a doubt, the personable staff at Cherry Nails takes pride in their work including spending an inordinate amount of time on pedicures especially when the price of said pedi is taken into consideration. However, do not mistake this as a complaint as I absolutely LOVE getting pedis here! Lots of attention is paid to detail all the way from shaping my toe nails and trimming my cuticles to making sure the polish is just perfect. Place is not as fancy or kept up as I had hoped (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), but the pedicure tubs are very clean. My friend and I both got Spa Pedicures, and it was well worth the $35. They spent an hour scrubbing and massaging my legs and feet with hot rocks, clay, and towels. The nail polish selection is huge, and they did a good job on my toes. I love this spot I went here on a Sunday afternoon because our usual place was closed. I get stiletto nails which not everyone can do. They do them and they are even better than my usual place. Koko did my nails he was so friendly and really does a great job my nails have never looked better and they last much longer than they usually do which is amazing. Not the fanciest of places but when you see the quality you will always return I have been here 4x since my first visit still the same great service and quality! So i had to write a review! So far is say this place is great. It's all business, but if you're not looking to make a best friend while still getting respectable service, than this is the place. It was my first time going to this nail salon but I decided to go since it was close to where I live. I wanted to go get a fill acrylic set. So I asked the mushroom head lady how much it was and she said it was 35 when I was expecting 25 because that's how much they normally are where I get my nails done at. There was only 2 ladies working there, it was empty. I sat down and she started working on my nails , filed my whole nail down that had regular nail polish when she was just supposed to take it off with normal nail polish remover, didn't push my cuticles in, and kept filing. It was burning so much so I told her that's enough. Now she came to the part where she had to put the actual tips on , I told her I wanted coffin but she didn't know what that was so I showed her a picture . I kindly asked her to hurry the process up because I had already been there for so long and she's not even half way done . She messed up the coffin shape so she had to give me an extension which was more expensive. She cut my cuticle and it was about to bleed from all the extra filing. She left some spots while painting the tips and I won't be going in there again . There are a bunch of other nail shops that charge u way less and do a better job. Then I finally asked her for how long she's been working there for and she said 25 surprisingly. Idk hoes she's been working there for 25 years and she doesn't know what ombré glitter and coffin shape is. Anyways she was nice after all. I got a basic manicure done last Tuesday it was my first time getting a manicure. Maybe its my ignorance but does everyone have a bad first experience with manicures ? The skin right at the edge of where the finger meets the nail, of ALL my finger nails is peeling and my right thumb is the worst it is still healing ! About the guy who did my manicure hats off to the speed I'm very happy about that because i dont think im patient enough to sit through an hour long of nail stuff. But i have to admit he liked to pause and stare at the TV screen. Didnt think the service was over friendly but I loved the clientale. I was looking at the gel manicure colors (while i was there for a basic manicure) and one of the girls who was with her group of friends i suppose showed me to the other section where i should go look for my color. I opted a clear coat in the end. And then at the dryer, there was this other lady who i had a quick chat with. But in the end, im not going back. This was my first time getting acrylic nails, ever. I went to Cherry Nails Salon because of the reviews I read here on Yelp, and the service was nice. I was quickly taken in, within twenty, thirty minutes of entering the salon. They had a nice selection of polish, I was pleased with the colors. However, the place was very, very small, and the workers spoke very little English. There were a ton of people in there, after I called and made an appointment. Also, there were many little children in there - early school age, preschoolers. They were playing hide and seek in the salon, their mothers didn't even care! There was little seating for waiting customer, and it was uncomfortably crowded. I ordered a regular full set of acrylic nails. After the man who was doing my nails finished, he noticed one was crooked. He removed almost dried acrylic nail, with new polish on it, WITH HIS OWN FINGERNAILS! He ripped off part of my nail while he was at it. As I was bleeding, he took his brush and just wiped my blood off of my nail, and put the brush back. I took the brush, and threw it out, because it had my blood on it and he refused to wash it. He then reapplied another acrylic nail, making the entire process longer by an extra twenty minutes! He charged me EXTRA, because he messed up a nail and had to redo it. THEN, he had the audacity to complain about me giving him a "small" five dollar tip. Never again, will I go to Cherry Nails, ever. read more

The staff was awesome. I got a pedicure and the people were so sweet! I did not feel rushed at all. Although there were some noisy children with another customer waiting for massage, I still had a great time, I got a basic pedicure for $25 and they massaged my legs and used hot rocks. I'm mostly impressed by the lovely staff and lovely treatment. it smells like any other nail salon so expect that. But I highly recommend although they were definitely busy, I had to wait 15 minutes but it was worth it read more

I decided to go to Cherry Nails because my normal nail salon is closed on Sundays. I love the fact that they're open on Sundays, but I will most likely not be returning to the salon. Overall the staff was nice and I was able to get my nails done immediately, but my nail tech was very rough with my nails and he Even made me bleed at one point! Today at Cherry Nails, I decided to get false lashes. It only costed $35 (me being a broke highschool student thought it was the perfect price but I should have known that the price was too good to be true). They usher my friend and I into the room and ask how I want my eyelashes. I tell them "very natural" in which he responds by saying okay. My first warning sign should have been when he did not sanitize or wash his hands before touching my eyes but I let it slip because I didn't want to start problems. When he starts applying the lashes he tells me to keep my eyes open which I thought was odd because I always had my eyes closed when getting eyelash extensions. He then starts applying the lashes and I can feel the glue burning my eyes so I tell him, which he responds by telling me to stop complaining. I should have gotten up and left but I didn't, I just sat there in so much pain. By the time he finishes my lashes my eyes are burning. When I look in the mirror, im horrified by what I see. The lashes that he put on me were the most unrealistic lashes I have ever seen in my life. I was so upset that I just paid and left. I sit in my car and just look at them. I decided to go back into the store after a couple minutes and ask if they can take them off because they were so bad. Which they agreed to do, they then put TOLIET PAPER AND DUCT TAPE on my face ( which I have pictures of) and begin the process of removing my lashes, which burned like crazy once again. I then ask if I can get some of my money back because I was not satisfied with my lashes to which he responded by saying that once I stepped out of the store the first time I was no longer eligible for a refund. Really good for the price! This nail salon is not spa-like by any means, but that was of little concern to me; I simply wanted a good manicure on the cheap and to not be rushed through the process. The nail techs take their time, for sure (at least 50 minutes for a simple manicure), but I think it's nice that they trim your cuticles, give you a hand massage with lotion, and apply hydrating oil in addition to the usual filing, buffing, and polish for just $12. I've been to Cherry Nails twice, and the first time I got a mani-pedi with gel for a reasonable price. Also included in that package was a hand and leg massages in addition to the massage pedi chair and foot bath with hot stones. Cherry Nails probably will not impress you with its aesthetics, but the prices are great and the employees are very generous and friendly. read more

I don't normally get my nails done, but have a special event coming up. So, I decided to get a mani/pedi. Everybody was so friendly and warm, chatting you up the whole time you are there. I got there around 11am on a weekday, so people started flowing in on their lunch break as we got closer to noon. I was taken care of my three different employees during my time, which I thought was odd and inconsistent. My overall experience took two and a half hours; way too long. I left with bubbles in my nails and a parking ticket for an expired meter. The people were great! But the quality did not meet the time I spent there. read more

I HAVE to rate this place to bring down its average rating. I live in the Boston area, but work in Worcester. I had a couple hours to kill, and thought I would Yelp nail salons. Cherry Nails had the best rating and it was relatively close so I went. I walked in and asked if they had time for a mani/pedi, they said yes and started the water in a pedi chair for me. I sat in the chair for about 15 minutes until anyone started my pedi. The woman was very kind and did a good job on my pedicure, but she took about an hour. When the time came for the mani, I asked if I really had time, since I had to be back at work in about 50 minutes (which is normally plenty of time, but I thought I'd put it out there since she was so slow). She assured me that there was enough time, but she rushed through & did a terrible job on my manicure: didn't file my nails evenly, didn't cut cuticles well (I had hangnails the next day), and the polish was already chipping off 2 days later (and I hadn't even done dishes or anything that would speed up that process). I just took the polish off my mani 3 days later. Lesson learned: Go here if you have 2-2 1/2 hours for a mani/pedi. Or go to Boston where they know how to do nails period. I won't be back. read more
