We were intrigued by the name and reviews describing it as a "punk rock" dive bar. It was about 4pm when we got there, and there were a few patrons taking a break from the heat. We were looking for a dive and we found it: small and dark, festooned with graffiti and stickers, and there was indeed punk rock playing--perfect. We bellied up to the bar and my eyes went right to the frozen margarita machine--yes, please. It was heaven on a 95+ degree day. The hubby got a beer and bourbon. The drinks were cheap and the bartender was nice, even gamely posing for a drawing I did of him on a Post-It that went up with all the other little drawings behind the bar. Definitely a worthy stop.
