    Fried shrimp and Cole slaw

This was one of the best seafood spots we've ever taken a leap of faith with! Given the great reviews in the area, this one was off the typical beaten path and did not disappoint. We were their first lunch customers and the service couldn't have been nicer. The vibes were great - a typical seafood joint. Later we found out from a local that they actually have a fish market inside. Not sure how we missed this but we would go back here if we ever went back to the area!

    Fresh seafood for carryout

My first time at this restaurant but will not be my last. Our party of six arrived for lunch, took a few minutes to get seated but once seated we were well served by our waitress with no name given. We had vegetable crab soup, chicken salad and shrimp salad wrap, oyster stew. All agreed that the vegetable crab soup was four stars plus with nice fresh vegetables and just enough crab to let you know it was there. My friend said the Reuben tasted fine but I thought it looked a little weak. The chicken salad and shrimp salad were both good to excellent and would gladly get them again. Restaurant also has a nice selection of fresh seafood and they appear to do a good carry out business. It seems to be more of a place for locals as opposed to tourist.

A little late but I visited here for Valentine's Day and considering how busy it was, the service was pretty good. Granted we had a reservation so we got seated right away but our server was prompt and we did not have to wait too long in between orders. We opted for the buffet and given how delicious everything sounded, I felt like it under delivered for the cost. However, the fried shrimp, oysters on the half shell and the smith island cake were the best things! The Cole slaw was also good too! Reminded me of the old CFA style Cole slaw! The Mac and cheese was a bit dry, the crab cakes were underwhelming and the broccoli casserole was very bland. The restaurant definitely stayed busy all night. Definitely seems like a good local spot.

Each time we come here I want to like this place. Our friends always order the Lobster Night Special - lobster with two sides of seafood and a garden salad. And maybe even more sides? The meal starts with bread rolls and delicious corn bread. Our server brought our drinks quickly. Salads came for those who got it with their meal. I had ordered a fried seafood platter with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. I was disappointed that my scallops were over cooked. The other items were good. I was so full that I didn't have dessert. Service was very good with free refills on sodas without our asking.

We came for a weekend getaway in St Michaels and were so happy that we stopped here for lunch! We got the half and half soup (cream of crab and Maryland crab). It tasted better than it looked! Def had some crab shell pieces, so careful when eating. At least it was fresh. We also got a 1/2 lb of steamed shrimp and half dozen large crabs. I also got an iced tea. The prices were pretty solid and reasonable, especially compared to the same quality of seafood in St Michaels and Baltimore. Our entire bill was $60. The service was also great. Everyone was very nice and cheerful. We were still new to eating crabs, so a staff member came over to walk us through how to eat them. It was really helpful and informative, and we really appreciated it! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in fresh, quality seafood with affordable prices in a local/family setting. You could see why all the locals come here. It's not "fancy" per se, but also doesn't need to be. :)

Crab Imperial, Onion Rings, and Coleslaw

Went here Sunday afternoon after church. Atmosphere was nice the restaurant was not crowded at all. we where greeted by a nice young lady who seated us , we sat in a booth. the menu was very busy there was so much to choose from it was hard to decide. We ended up choosing the crab pretzel for starters ( it took awhile for it to come out but it was very good ) we ordered the Seafood plater with two sides Onion Rings and Coleslaw I had the Crab Imperial which was amazing it came with two sides as well I had the Coleslaw and Onion Rings. everything was delicious. I had a Root beer Float ( this was not on the menu however the waitress made it for me and just charged extra for the Ice-cream). There where a few minor things . Quite a few things on the menu stated market price, so you had to make sure that you kept up with the price that the waitress gave for the market prices. If not there could be a chance that you may be over charged. There where a few flies that we had to keep swatting as we ate that was annoying at times. ( Hence the 4 stars) Other than that the customer service was great. and everyone was very friendly. I would return again.

We tried a little bit of everything on the menu - the bread, oysters, cucumber salad, scallops, fries, rigatoni, and two desserts. Everything was incredible - creative yet comprehensible and decent portions for a more expensive restaurant. If you go during the 4-6pm window you'll have access to happy hour with discounted house wines and a few dishes. Jordan was our server and was great at convincing us to try certain things that later became an obsession (cucumber salad). Great lighting, lots of bench seating, and quick service. I'd go out of my way to eat here again and would recommend everything on the menu!

The seafood was excellent. We loved the oysters and the tuna sushi that you roll yourself--it was fun and delicious. The potato chips with Iberian ham and manchego were incredible and one of the most memorable bites of the night. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The desserts were also fantastic. The labneh ice cream was completely out of this world, and the olive oil cake was excellent as well. A couple of small notes: the endive salad wasn't our favorite because it was covered in onions, which wasn't mentioned and unfortunately I really dislike onions. Also, the pork chop tasted amazing but we did notice toward the end that part of it was a bit undercooked. That said, overall the meal was excellent and we had a really great time. Definitely a memorable dining experience in St. Michaels.

We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately, which set the tone for a relaxed and welcoming evening. We started with the baked oysters, foie gras and bone marrow appetizers--both were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. For dinner, my wife had the sword fish, I had the veal chop, and my son had the seafood gumbo. Each dish was incredible, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. We finished the night with the crème brûlée, which was prepared to perfection and was the perfect ending to a memorable meal. The entire staff was A+ across the board, including owner/exec chef Doug and his lovely wife Jenn, who clearly care deeply about both the food and the guest experience. Don't let the quaint town of St. Michaels fool you--this gem is absolutely worth the visit.

It was very busy when we dined in Friday night. We sat at the chef's counter. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We also did the bubbles board. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. We left with boxes and after each meal. We will definitely be back on our next trip to St. Michael's. I'm not sure about parking because we stay on our boat at the marina which is a short talk away.
