These guys are vultures and are so unnecessarily rude to people who are just trying to find out information about where their vehicle is being towed and how to get it back. They were rude in person and then talked down to me when I called to ask about prices. The guy I spoke with also flat out lied to me when I asked if he was the same guy that I saw tow the vehicle because they were both rude... he said no he wasn't then after I said they were both unnecessarily rude, he later said he was the one who towed it. I said that also made him a liar too and as I proceeded to hang up, he told me he would be charging us even more for the tow- which was already at $800 for all of the ridiculous fees that they tack on. When we went to get my car nobody was present and we were told over the phone we needed a reservation and nobody would be there for 40 mins to an Hour. They left my car running the entire time like idiots. They could work on their quality, attitude, and not leaving cars running to fuck up the battery. If I could give zero stars, I would. i was parked in a "gated" community where they had some towing sign in the beginning of the neighborhood, and no signs on the street I was parked on the curb and my car was towed in the hour I was at my appointment. He made me pay cash, a 50$ gate fee, where there is no way to get a receipt of the cash payment because it was after hours. He was rude and heartless. SCAM. horrible. This towing company is running a racketeering business. Our car was parked in a LEGAL spot on the street, no signs saying private parking, no sign saying tow-zone, however when we returned from our brief stroll through the town, our car had been towed. When we went inside the Inn next to where our car had been to ask what happened, they said they had no idea about any towing and that street parking was open. When we arrived at the tow lot to meet Kyle, he said that the two spots in front of the Inn are owned by the Inn and that it's guest parking only. There is absolutely NO SIGNS saying you cannot park in these spots. We took pictures and videos however he still demanded his extortion amount of over $200. Not to mention he had the nerve to show us he had towed 3 cars who were parked in OUR SAME SPOT the SAME NIGHT. How is it legal to tow a car parked in a LEGAL spot, meaning no signs saying private or you cannot park there, and have the Inn tell us the parking was fine and they didn't call to tow us. My Toyota 4Runner driver side ball joint broke leaving the wheel at a 45° angle to the car . This was quite problematic for Towing. Randomly I chose a tow company and the first one said that they could not tow it that it would destroy potentially the automobile. Scott showed up from cheshire's and with much effort straightens the will and then told it about 5 Mi or so without event. Scott's skill and experience along with his demeanor saved the day ! What a sham this company is. Owner has no remorse for customers who require a tow when in dire need of assistance. First he gives you a flat fee, then changes upon arrival and won't drop the car until payment is made. After agreeing to pay to retrieve vehicle he then decides to tell us it's a "cash only" operation which only leads to further discomfort of the service being offered. After finally paying, the driver then mocks us saying "well you did me a favor by backing in instead of pulling in". Complete lack of regard for sympathy and understanding from a business. The good lord punishes us all for our sins, and I hope that he understands he'll have to pay for his one day! Terrible experience, I'd shoot my left foot off before EVER referring this company to anyone. read more

This is a great very professional tow company. Helped me many times in tough situations. Recently had a discrepancy with a tow and the manager and owners looked into the situation and really investigated the problem. Got my work truck back and I'm back in business. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The tow truck operators are helpful and decent people and if the review was based solely off of them, the ranking would be higher. Unfortunately, it isn't. The personnel (Ray) and his boss, Chris, who work the office and phones are both clueless, spineless and heartless. Ray misinformed me about what I needed to have to pick up my vehicle which caused another day's delay and extra $25 in storage fees. When I asked to speak to the boss, Chris, he was extremely rude, crass and is a garbage human being. Also, this is a shady operation as it is entirely cash based. While I'm no fan of the IRS, I hope they take a close look at this worthless company. All my worst to them. I will also supply the feedback to St. Augustine PD and SJCO Sheriff as I believe they should know they're working with unsavory people. I don't know if the feedback to the PD or Sheriff will change anything, but they will be better informed. read more

ZERO STARS!!! After being involved in an accident with my 15-year-old driving in the Waffle House parking lot we ran into the Cheshire's eating there. We knew of the Cheshires as their daughter was a friend of ours in school a year previously. Chris offered to tow my vehicle to his shop. I consented to the tow. Chris chose to stay at the scene which did take the police approximately an hour to complete by choice. After discussing with my insurance and determining his repair shop was not a preferred business my husband called him the same afternoon and asked for an invoice for the tow and advised him that we chose to take our vehicle to a preferred shop due to their recommendation. Chris told my husband that the invoice would be ready Monday morning but that we didn't have to go with a preferred shop, "they just tell you that to scare you". My husband insisted that is what we decided to do and would need an invoice ASAP so our insurance could arrange a tow. When my insurance company called his shop Monday morning they were told the invoice was not ready and to call back in 30 minutes. When they called again they were hung up on. The insurance company tried to obtain the invoice twice on Tuesday and were told as late as 5:30 P.M. that it was not ready. I texted his wife Sarah asking if their tow company could tow my vehicle to the shop I wanted it to go to and I would pay for both of the tows. Chris immediately called me and I was under the impression my insurance company was causing the delay, not knowing the previously mentioned information until later. He stated it was illegal for State Farm to "lead" me to one of their preferred shops and that he could get started on my car right away. After discussing more with my insurance I found out that he could not get started on my car, but would have to wait 7-10 business days for an adjuster to come take a look at it. I then called Chris back and told him that I was going to continue to take the advice of my insurance carrier and wanted my vehicle towed to the Chevrolet dealership. I asked him if he would tow it over there and again I would pay the charges. He refused and wanted to know the exact wording from my insurance so he could file a complaint. He then said since I was taking their advice I could go through their process for their towing services. That is when I made the call to find out how many times they tried to obtain an invoice so it could be paid and removed. My husband went to Chris's shop this morning to get the invoice. The charges were absurd! $580 for a tow, administrative fees to produce one invoice, his time waiting at the scene, and storage fees. My husband did not feel it was appropriate to be charged storage fees when he and my insurance company have been trying to get the invoice for days. He chose to keep my car to continue to tack on fees and hoped we would change our minds and have him do the work. He refused to waive the storage fees but did provide the invoice to my husband. My insurance company paid his ridiculous charges and got my car out of his tow yard the same day. He ultimately took advantage of my situation, one that was already devasting enough. He also took advantage of my insurance company, total insurance fraud! Be aware this is NOT a person I would ever do business with! He is a con, liar, and very deceitful person who apparently is hard up for money! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! read more
