So we bought a used Toyota RAV4 from this dealership, the sales person was very honest but the manager i was not impress, he would not negotiate with us, which in the back of my mind, SHOULD HAVE walked away but my husband really loved it, I didn't want to disappoint him, one month into it, my husband took it to get an oil and filter change, so far was told, cabin filter was black, oil filter was severely damaged and leaking, they said it was a good thing we brought it in. Stay away from this place. I bought a CPO 2021 VW Atlas Cross Sport R-Line SE in August 2023, and it's been a nightmare from the start. The vehicle has been in the shop more times than I can count, all due to alignment and suspension issues that the dealership kept brushing off as "normal." They couldn't even acknowledge the obvious problems I was complaining about from day one. It took a second dealership to finally confirm what I had been saying all along--there's something wrong with the suspension. The first dealership eventually replaced all four tires after a botched alignment. But surprise, surprise, the suspension issues didn't stop there. Another Volkswagen dealership recently confirmed that the shocks are bad and the rack and pinion has excessive play, making the vehicle unsafe to drive. Yet the original dealership kept insisting everything was fine. Clearly, they're incapable of diagnosing anything without their precious computer telling them what's wrong. If that's how they're training their techs, they should reconsider their employment standards, because this is a joke. Now let's talk about the sales department--total crooks. When we purchased the car, we had financing already lined up through USAA, but they flat-out lied to us in the finance office, claiming they couldn't use USAA because of "registration issues." Total BS. We called USAA later, and guess what? That was never true. Instead, they ran my credit five or six times, just to push us into using a finance company that clearly gives them kickbacks. They'll tell you whatever they need to just to make an extra buck. Don't believe a word these guys say--they're hustling you. And no, I don't need to talk to the service manager about it. This review is my final word. Your dealership is full of crooks from top to bottom. The service is incompetent, the sales team are liars, and if you want to avoid getting screwed over, do not buy from this place. That being said, I'm also gonna leave this other piece of info for anyone looking at a true review of this dealership. My 2008 VW New Beatle was tolled to VW St Augustine in Oct 2024, would not start. Diagnostic revealed it needed a new cluster. The car is still sitting on their lot, its Feb 2025 now. They have been waiting on the part and parts dept has no clue when and if ever the part will arrive. Will not start without it. They have not told me if there is any alternative, like repairing the current one or getting a refurbished one. This is unbelievable. If I could give a "Zero" star review, I would. Unfortunately the lowest I can go is one. We own a 2018 VW Atlas and have been servicing our vehicle here for the past several years. After countless issues and compounded by inexcusable incompetence from the service department, we are DONE. The latest, and there is a long list, stems from a problem we had last October...less than 1 year ago. The vehicle was stuttering and maintenance recommended we replace the fuel injectors. (this was done prior to discussing or changing spark plugs btw - another much less expensive possibility that they did not consider.) Fuel injectors were changed to the tune of $3,500 and the problem persisted! Maintenance offered a sincere head scratch in return. Fast forward 11 months and our check engine light comes on. Guess what the diagnosis is now? They are recommending that we CHANGE THE FUEL INJECTORS - AGAIN!!! Not only that, even though it's been only 11 months, the parts are no longer under warranty. They can't even tell me the issue - just that I need to "replace my fuel injectors". Well sir, I already DID THAT and it DIDN'T WORK THE FIRST TIME!!! WHY WOULD I TRUST YOU NOW?!!! If you want incompetent people, poor systems and "oh - well" customer service, this is your place! But you won't ever see me there again. read more

I've been going car shopping and this is one of the worst experiences I've had. Saleswoman did not engage with me, only spoke with my friends and joked with them. I have been using the service dept for 10 yrs. This is the first time I felt violated, used, demeaned, and overcharged as a woman. The white hair older man treated me like crap and others. I witness him saying hold and slamming the phone down on another customer. I went in for a fuel filter change, transmission flush, oil change, and standard filters. They tried to charge me $1300 Then $1000 Then it ended up at $811 for the above service. I was charged another 150 for a diagnostic fee I did not know about until the bill!!! We told the guy we spoke to someone here regarding their inventory before we even finish "oh I need to find the person that you spoked to we get paid commission". I went in their location today to buy a BMW X5 2018. The salesman handled himself significantly better than the management staff. We shook on the deal and when it was time to write it up they added $500 to the deal and then said I had to put less monies down so they could make extra monies. I had the best buying experience at this VW dealership than any other dealerships and they gave me some nice goodies into the buying process and I am truly mind blown. They kept their word by taking care of my car's needs when I addressed the issues of the car during the buying process and they actually mailed the 2nd key which wasn't included when the car was returned to VW during buy back process in NJ. Wipers didn't work, they took care of it. They let us drive our old vehicle home which was 2017 Ford Explorer that I traded it in for the 2014 JSW TDI. Brought the car to my home in Mount Dora with almost empty fuel tank, they apologized as their driver forgot. So they mailed me the gift card. Where do I start.. my daughter bought a car from here on June 19th 2020. When they delivered the car, the tire pressure light was on. It was not on when she test drove it. I'm sure it was something simple but still.. The interior of the car definitely was not detailed. There were crumbs, junk and even a whole cookie in between the seats. The car smelled like smoke and come to find out, they didn't even change the cabin air filter! There's all kinds of nasty stuff near the interior light. The hood does not line up. They must have taken it off but did not properly install it back. Engine was making a knocking noise- the car was a quart low of oil and supposedly they just did an oil change. THIS IS A PREOWNED CERTIFIED VEHICLE!! She still does not have her permanent tag. She's on her 3rd ( now expired temporary tag). She is now 5 hours away from this dealership and 2 and 1/2 hours away from the tag office since she is back in school. She calls about her tag and title and they give her the run around and play the blame game. Call and left a message on the managers voicemail but has yet to call back. He threatened to fight my family and told us to get the fuck out of the dealership after driving four hours to purchase two tiguans and 90% of the cars were damaged due to burglaries. We got our car here used and they lied about a bunch of things with the car that we didn't notice it till after we got it home. They didn't reset the oil light so I spent $80 on a oil change for no reason 2 weeks later. They said they were going to clean and detail the car they didn't at all! My husband scrubbed down the car inside and out and the inside was completely black on the wipes . So disgusting! I also had to get all new brakes put on the car a month later front and rear brakes and rotors because they were squeaking when I was driving so unsafe!! They told us they would put new tires on the car for free because of the price we paid for the car and they put the cheapest tires they could find on the car and stripped all of the Lugnuts to where I had to pay extra to have other people take them off. This dealership is represented by a unprofessional, belligerent so called "manager" Alexander Short who should be an embarrassment to this owner, his establishment and Volkswagen. He and his sales person misrepresented the inventory and condition of the "new" vehicles we drove 4 hours to purchase. Vehicles had been burglarized days prior and tried to sell another vehicle in the place. He was extremely rude to the female sales person and had a huge attitude for having to retrieve an approval application from the system. When confronted with the frustration of their lack of regard for peoples time, the long drive and their ample opportunity to tell us that the vehicles were damaged (deal was made that morning) he told our family to "get the fuck out" and threatened to fight my husband who had just walked into the lobby and had no idea what was happening. My daughter who was purchasing a second car from this dealership reorted this to the owner of the dealership and there has been crickets since his supposed "looking into" the situation.
