Beyond frustrated. It took 6 months for the office to get a cost for a crown. Then after they put the temp cap on, i immediately had pain. The dentist Simeone, who start the process, couldn't see me so a different dentist there told me I need a root canal and they don't do them. I specifically asked Simeone as I had no pain prior, he said I wouldn't need one. Other issue: every time I go in they tell me I owe more money, I was just there a week ago. Went to this dental office for 6yrs. Dr. Simone was great. However at the end of the pandemic they kept telling my husband and I that we needed more treatment besides the usual cleaning. Not one time in the 35 years going to the dentist has anyone suggested I needed braces. I was really put off by this suggestion and it seemed like they wanted to take advantage of my good dental insurance. Also took 3 times to fix my broken crown over my implant. I left after these encounters. I also took out my kids because they weren't patient with them- they kept suggesting I should go to a kids dentist instead. Fine I will. read more

This place deserves a negative rating but one star will do I guess. My story is long so not going to waste my time going over every detail of the trauma this place has caused me. Never EVER go here for more than just a cleaning. Needed a bridge put in and had to come in 6 different times because the lab messed up my bridge so many times. And yes I said SIX times. Had hygienists stab me with tools which caused cuts in my mouth that took a week to heal. Sat through numerous appointments that lasted over four hours just to have work not be finished due to "time constraints" even though half the time I'd be sitting in the chair waiting to be seen. They're also HORRIBLE at taking X-rays. You'll be gagging and coughing because the hygienists love to shove that little camera down your throat and except you to stay completely still. One time I went to an appointment and the dentist wasn't even in the office so they sent me home (what a joke). Chester County hired Dr. Patrick Shock (who got fired btw) who completely traumatized me and broke multiple teeth in the process of trying to fix mine. I'm in more pain than I was before I came in. He broke my actually tooth while he was trying to take my temporary crown off to put on the permanent crown. He filed my tooth down so much to cover the hole that the hygienists couldn't make me a new temporary because my tooth was so shallow. So I left the office without a permanent OR temporary crown. My crown has been missing for six months now. He also worked on my bridge which was another traumatic experience... I currently don't have a temporary bridge or crown. My teeth are literally exposed and SO painful that I can't eat on my left side at all. I got a partial refund from this office which is also another joke. More people get fired here than work there. Emailing and calling the office is a waste of time. Still waiting for my full refund since the dentists here couldn't fix what I paid to have them fix (+$3,000 for reference). They also maxed out my insurance without informing me that I was close to my limit. I was charged multiple times for the same procedure that wasn't even completed. It's kind of sad how terrible this place is. I've left this office over a dozen times either crying from pain, bleeding or just frustrated because of the incompetence of the dentist and hygienists. I currently have no temporary bridge or crown. I've been toothless on my left side because of this "dentist" office for over 6 months now. So if you ever need your dental records or X-rays have fun waiting months since no one in the office answers emails. I could go on and on about the other horrible things this place has done to me but I don't have the time to write a novel. Sadly I made the mistake of prepaying for an appointment I then had canceled the appointment when they had called to reschedule it as dr. Simone needed to go in for some additional training to stay up-to-date. I hate leaving a bad review as dr. Simone is great however this is the second time I have been let down by his Staffing. I was told I will have to wait until next week now to find out about my refund as billing is out of the office and they cannot give me an answer. The sad thing is this was an appointment that he offered to do for free several months back as a courtesy over the first issues I had at the office and I felt that he had gone above and beyond and I would pay for this service as a courtesy back to him. If you get Maura on the phone and just hang up for customer service and just cost this great establishment a client. read more

I have been going to a dentist for 18 years and I just recently moved out to Chester County. I was so scared to change dentist, so I was taking the commute back to my old dentist. Well, I thought that was crazy, so I decided to find a new dentist and boy did I find a keeper. Chester County Dental Arts was in my church paper, so I thought I would make an appt. When I arrived for my appointment the ladies in the office made me feel so welcomed and they were so friendly. They explained everything to me before I signed anything. The atmosphere felt so warm and caring. Gemma was my hygentist she took my xrays and did my cleaning. She was so thorough much more then I have experienced in the past. Their equipment is the state of the art which means it is comfortable for the patient. She was wonderful and I left feeling my teeth have been cleaned. Dr. Simone was outstanding, he made me feel like family. He was amazing. He explained everything to me. I felt that he was so knowledgeable and his experience was outstanding, so I knew I was in exceptional hands. I had to return for two fillings. When I entered the office, I was greeted as an old soul they made you feel like you came home. Moria explained my costs up front and she handel my insurance and co-pay. She took care of me. There was no hidden cost. The office manager Christine even came out to welcome me back. Dr Simone drilled my teeth to prepare for the filling, which did not hurt at all. Then Desiree would put my fillings in my teeth. She was gentle, kind, and a sweetheart. She would ask me how I was feeling the entire time, as she was filling my teeth. I have had fillings in the past but I must say she was the best. She was outstanding. I felt no pain and she was precise. Plus we kept working on making sure my bite felt right. The fillings, I had done in the past never were right until the second or third visit. Desiree would not let me leave until we were both sure and confident that the fillings were perfect. Horrible experience! I went in for a cleaning and was not at the dentist for over a year and a half. The hygienist started out taking X-rays which was fine but when she started cleaning my teeth it turned out horrible she kept numbing me which I thought was really in necessary she kept saying she didn't want to hurt me. She sprayed water all over me her hands at that point were shaking so bad I simply asked her that I did not like the numbing and if she could just do the cleaning by hand. She pretty much refused to do the cleaning by hand she went right into polishing my teeth only did a couple then stopped and said she couldn't finish walked out and got the doctor. I ended up leaving feeling I just wasted an hour of my time my teeth were not cleaned flossed and she did nothing with my top teeth. I would never want to go back wouldn't recommend it to anyone read more

I do not recommend this office. As a nurse and nutrition consultant, I pride myself on the healthy habits my children have. 1 of my 3 kids, (ages14-21) has always had "problem teeth". (The other 2 have never had a cavity) She has had extensive work for a decade. After coming to A+ for many years, today I was verbally attacked by Dr Simeone, whom I had never met before. I was told that I am a bad parent and need to teach my daughter healthy habits and to not be a bad influence.I was also told to stand up and take responsibility for my actions as a parent.I informed him that she does not drink soda, eat candy, and we don't even have sugar in our house, and he told me that I was being "untruthful". I am disgusted by the actions of this "professional". I would never approach my patients or clients in this manner and, if I had concerns, I would not approach them in front of a room full of people. No child or parent should be subjected to the poor service of this practice. My daughter has needed a root canal since March and this office has not made any effort to get the approval from the insurance company. I have even offered to make the call for them. I am now being attacked because she has cavities in the teeth around this bad tooth?! Terrible practice! read more
