I've been with Dr. Mittal for a few years now and my oral health has really turned around. I used to have so much tartar build up and bleeding gums. My teeth were overcrowded and that just added to the cavities. Dr. Mittal's office worked with me on financing for Invisalign treatment so that it was an affordable treatment method. The Invisaligns not only helped with the over crowding of my teeth, but it also helped train me in good dental habits. You need to brush everytime you take the trays out after all. Not only that, but their office has always been especially understanding. Early on, when I was just starting to work with Dr. Mittal's office, my wife was going through cancer treatment. I was a bit of a mess and had been late to more than one appointment. However, Dr. Mittal's office never charged me a late fee or made me feel any shame for the inconvenience. That alone has made me a loyal patient here. My wife is now in remission and I have been cavity free for about a year now. Was about 12 years ago my husband and I went here and both had very bad experience. In fact $5000 veneers fell off. After threatening to sue she finally gave money back, but we still had to find another dentist to cap all the front teeth, as the procedure for veneers ruins the enamel. read more

We have been with Dr. Mittal for over 12 years. We started when our children were toddlers and now they are teens. I have had cavities since I was a child, and she is very good at catching new ones that might be forming within my old fillings. She is very patient and kind, especially when the children are nervous about fillings. She works very efficiently and quickly. One time my daughter insisted she didn't have any shots (yet I sat there holding her hand watching her get a shot), so that impressed me a LOT as a mom! The staff are friendly and professional. I have been coming to Dr. Mittal at Comfort Dental for years. Comfort Dental has a friendly and skilled staff. When I walk in they make me feel like I am their only patient and a VIP. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go to this dentist. This was the worst experience I've had with a dentist, ever, and I've seen several dentists. After all the work I had done here, my next dentist had to re-do everything. Ugh! The receptionist said that they are trying to improve, but still receive a lot of complaints. She also has poor customer service skills. She refused to explain anything to me and walked out the door while I was still talking. She didn't always understand what I was saying. Communication is not her strength. When she does speak, it is very condescending. read more

My daughter, 17 (a minor) drove herself to her appointment and without consulting me they applied non insurance covered sealants to her teeth when she was supposed to be there for a routine cleaning. She has never had a cavity so sealants are a bit of a waste at this point don't you think? We have been there a total of 2 times and both times I feel like I am being talked down to, although I have experience as a dental assistant. I also feel like they try to up sell trying to get as much money out of each appt. They did remove the sealant charge ($400) from my bill but it left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) and we have a new Dentist now. read more

Great location, horrible service. Office manager is rude and does not follow insurance billing procedures. We had to ask for credits after each visit when insurance was billed and they charged us too much. The dentist has not one bit of bedside manner and definitely concentrates on quantity not quality. Dr. Mittal and her staff are the best! It all started when my son, while playing in a friends basement, had his 2 adult front teeth knocked out. One completely out of the socket and the other broken off at the gum. Of course it was 7pm on a Sunday evening. We were all in shock and quite hysterical. There was a lot of blood, it was a bit of a scene. I wish I could say we did all of the right things. My PSA - if your (or your child's) adult tooth comes completely out of the cavity, the best thing to do is pop it back in and get to your dentist. OR, put it inside your cheek and get to your dentist - whichever you have the stomach for. We put the tooth in my husbands pocket in a damp paper towel. :( We called all the wrong people first. The oral surgeon, whose VM was full (!?) which meant a dead end. My mom, while emotionally supportive - not the person I should have called next. After a good hour had passed and we were home, someone recommended calling our regular dentist. DUH! Thankfully I did. Dr. Mittal and her husband jumped right into their car at 8:30pm on their Sunday evening and met us at the office. We were there until about 11:30pm. Dr. Mittal inserted the tooth back into my son's mouth and performed a root canal on one of the teeth. We had a series of appts and X-rays following this emergency procedure. Including a root canal on the other tooth. Outlook was not optimistic for saving either of the teeth. Here is what I know - when my son walked into that office, he had no front teeth. When he walked out, everything was intact beautifully and still is today! Dr. Mittal went above and beyond for my son. I wish I could give her a 6th star for the much needed hug she gave me at the end of our journey together. Top notch kudos to you Dr. Mittal! read more

I went here seeking a new dentist because of a change in insurance. They either could not or would not work with my insurance despite being listed under my plan because when I went somewhere else and asked for the same work it was no problem. The Dr. treated me like a child trying to tell me about good oral hygiene.I know about good oral hygiene, I just still get cavities. She insisted on doing unnecessary cosmetic work which in retrospect would have eaten up my whole spending for the year leaving me paying out of pocket the full amount for any other work that would have to be done. The worst part however was the fact that when I tried to speak to the Dr. about how we could curb the spending and just do the cavities and wait on the cosmetic I was NOT ALLOWED by the receptionist to talk to the Dr. She said I had to make another appt. I felt deceived and bullied by this place, and I would not go here if I were you. read more

I needed significant work on my teeth and Dr. Mital was excellent. Her staff was always friendly and professional. I trusted Dr. Mital's advice about my care. She was gentle in her approach. Called to discuss and recieved an appology and agreement from the front dest that they are working with the Dr. to imporve as they get alot of complaints. Yikes!.
