One side has a bakery where you can watch the delicious goodies being made. The other side is a small cafe. Although there is limited seating I have never had to wait for a table. I haven't gone on the weekend (pretty sure the Sunday morning brunch would be a different story). A friend and I met for lunch at 1:00 pm on a Wednesday. My friend had the Café Club with the pasta salad and a sweet tea. I had the Quiche of the Day, the pasta salad and a hot cup of Clemson Sunrise (Vanilla, Caramel & White Mocha). The pasta salad wasn't my favorite-next time I'll give the potato salad a try. The service and food were very good. The café closed at 2:00 pm. Since we were still visiting, my friend and I grabbed our drinks and walked a few steps to the center of the lovely town square and found a swing to continue our conversation...but that's for another review. You have topping options like chili, lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc. They also have a range of condiments/sauces at the counter for you to use during your meal. This is hands down the BEST burger in the area (much tastier than BGR and Jake's Wayback and WAY cheaper). The sweet tea is perfect as well. The sides I've had (fries, hush puppies, onion rings) have all been delicious as well. The decor is all Coca Cola. It's like walking into museum. It's very cute and interesting to look at. The business is family-owned I'm assuming. I've received nothing but friendly and prompt service. The outside of the Monk's Corner Cafe does seem sketch but don't be afraid to walk in!
