Due South is a convenient coffee shop to stop in and satisfy your caffeinated beverage needs. I've stopped by a couple times now en route to NC. I'm convinced that the Greenville coffee scene is one of the best in the southeast. Don't fight me on this. Parking isn't a problem here - there's a huge parking lot for the entire complex. This location is also dog friendly - perfect for me and my pup! I love their seasonal specialty drinks menus! They rotate seasonally and I've tried a few in my two visits a couple years ago. Loved the lavender rhubarb latte - although I thought placing the lavender sprig on the outside of the latte was a bit odd. There are usually both coffee and tea specialty drinks you can choose from - the fall menu had an interesting drink incorporating cold brew, tea syrup and chai - the Roy & Friends. They also carry local baked goods for purchase - loved the coffee cake we tried from Bossy Bakers. Will definitely be stopping by Due South again next time I drive through Greenville!

This is a review of Due South in their newest location. Same great coffee, same great drinks, same great service. I visited during the holidays and enjoyed a holiday drink. I can't remember the name of the espresso drink but it had a delicious 1/2 slice of wafer/waffle cookie on it. Due South has a variety of creative seasonal drinks. This location is obviously much smaller. I visited during the winter and there was only 4-5 tables for seating which doesn't seem to be enough. But when they can open the garage bay door the number of seats grows. I've never visited during the warmer months (I don't live in SC) but I imagine it is really nice. The location seems more promising and better than the last location because of the proximity to restaurants and businesses and common area between them.

Visiting SC and wanted to get to some local coffee shops! Ambiance: Located in a small outdoor complex with picnic tables and places to relax/work, Due South Roasters fits the chic stereotype of coffee houses. Parking was easy in the lot. Average traffic at the shop for a Tuesday afternoon. Price: In line with my expectations for specialty coffee servings. Pros: Enjoyed the ambiance, and enjoyed the unique weekly selection of coffee! Nothing extravagant, but simple, relaxing, and stylish is all that's needed for a good coffee spot. Cons: Wasn't familiar with the area, and wasn't initially sure if I was going in the right direction driving through the townhouses/apartments down the street. Once it opened up into the outdoor complex with breweries and other shops I realized I made it! Overall: Awesome local coffee with a great selection and relaxing scenery. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area, and look forward to going back during a busier hour when the brewery is open!

Such a cute little spot where there are other taco shops, breweries, etc. tons of outdoor seating and indoor as well. Ordered the special pumpkin caramel latte and it was absolutely delicious! Service was friendly and loved the vibe!

If you are looking for an under the ground vibe this is the place to go!! It's very open and comfortable!! As soon as you walk through the aroma of freshly brewed coffee hits you in the face!! Was greeted and had great customer service!! The coffee there is very unique and prices are very reasonable!! Definitely coming back!!

I really enjoyed my time at Due South. I was able to find a table in the sun and find a shady spot when it got too hot. My dog, Luna got to tag along with me, which was nice. There are other shops and restaurants connected. I highly recommend their lavender latte.

I stopped here today on my way from Asheville to Savannah via Greenville and Augusta. The young man made a great cappuccino and offered me some good suggestions on things to see in Greenville.

Even with GPS, this place is hard to find. And then once you're there, you have to look hard to see the sign. Just follow your nose, because you can smell the coffee beans roasting! It's located inside of an old mill. Turn right into the fenced parking area. Once inside, it's a large and interesting place with artwork on the walls, with tables and stools and cozy couches to lounge on. There are employees processing the coffee on the other side of the cavernous space. My cappuccino was presented beautifully but was served lukewarm, and was very bitter towards the bottom of the cup. The highlight was the chocolate cinnamon scone, which was sweet and crumbly. My friend tried the hot chocolate, which was also lukewarm, as well as the ham and cheese croissant. Overall, a nice place to try at least once.

Your head almost spins trying to see everything. Thankfully I was there for one thing. I ordered the slice of carrot cake which was pre cut. Which I typically try to avoid but they said that's what they had. We chatted briefly about extremely sweet icing and cake preferences before paying and leaving. The cake itself almost had zero sweetness to it which made the icing taste extremely sweet and unbalanced between to two. Even by itself the icing was very sweet. The cake , probably because it was precut and sitting for who knows how long, wasn't very moist. While not unbearably dry it was pushing the line of being too dry. I think a fresh cut slice would be way better moisture wise, but still unbalanced sweetness. I'd like to see what else the city a has to offer cake wise but I wouldn't call this one particularly great. I'd call this 2.5/5 but can't give half star reviews. The cake being the main reason for the visit and being kind of dry and unbalanced impacts the whole experience

We went on a Sunday morning and the staff was great and quick. For coffee, I tried one of their current specials, a cinnamon bun latte. I loved it. This latte is for someone who likes it sweet. For my lunch, I got the salami goat sandwich. It was creamy and spicy, and the bread had the perfect bounce. My friend ordered the turkey and fig sandwich, and she let me take a bite. I'd be tempted to order that one next time. As a note, they don't do any substitutions on any sandwich. They will let you remove an item, but you cannot swap. I took a lemon pistachio olive oil cake to go. This was the star of the show. It was light, fresh and moist. I would come back for one everytime. I will admit that my initial reaction to the Belgium waffle wasn't great. For a dine in experience, being served in a to-go container felt a little off, and the Smucker's syrup didn't exactly help matters. Let's be honest, that's not real maple syrup, and it definitely took away from the presentation. That said, the waffle itself redeemed those first impressions. It was delicious, light, and had this subtle hint of vanilla that made it feel a little more special than your standard waffle. That touch of sweetness and flavor helped me quickly forget my initial disappointment. The breakfast presentation could use a little upgrade, but the taste absolutely delivered.

Christine from Baking Sweet Scents was up to the challenge and spent time with me listing ingredients so we were completely sure it was safe. I really appreciated the time and effort. Christine also deals with some allergens so she understands the difficulties. I selected the chocolate almond flour cake, double layered, semi-naked, with stevia instead of sugar, and macarons on top to be nestled into the specific flowers I wanted, gladiolus for August birthday month.
