Came here after rafting at adventures on the gorge. It is a nice place that is apart of the resort. Lots of people hang out here after they raft and they play videos of the trips throughout the day. It is a fun atmosphere! A little loud. The food is typical bar food. We ordered the pulled pork nachos and they were very good. The chips got to be a little soggy towards the end and I feel like there could've been a little bit more meat on them. The sandwich was filling but parts of the pulled pork were a little fatty. Ambiance- 4/5 Location is amazing, located on the edge of the gorge with an amazing view. Service- 3/5 It wasn't that the service was slow, or particularly bad, despite the fact the restaurant was almost empty, the staff seemed like they were just there. Nothing exceptional. Food- 2/5 limited menu further limited by multiple unavailable menu items. We got the shrimp appetizer, which were pretty close to resembling fried frozen breaded shrimp for $10 a bag at the grocery store, except it was 6 shrimp for $17. For my meal I had a the Philly Cheesesteak priced at $18 (better be one hell of a Philly, it wasn't). This placed is built around the location, everything else has been set to the side as far as running a good restaurant. Take a drive a little further to find a better spot to eat. read more

The view was awesome. We were here 3-ish, seated right away, and very attentive and professional waitress. What a pleasant surprise, beautiful views with an awesome patio and the food was good. We had mother load fries, wings and a couple tacos!! It was all good and the staff treated us nice. Had a pepperoni roll which I guess is a local specialty. It was pretty tasty. The dough was much sweeter than I expected, like sweet white bread. The view is amazing from the deck. Inside was way too loud so sat outside. As for service- the servers were super nice and friendly, but they were pretty busy so it was a bit slow. Overall the vibe is kinda sports bar like. Took a wrong turn and found ourselves on the road that runs by this complex. We were hungry for lunch and decided Chettys was as good as any place to stop in for a bite. Our party of 6 was seated promptly and served drinks. Orders taken quickly and food arrived pretty soon. Menu is made up of typical bar/pub fare including wings, burgers, sandwiches and a few other things. Everyone in our group seemed to like what they had overall. I had the Pub Pretzel, which was pretty good but just a little too salty for me. The fried green tomato appetizer did not go over so well either due to the batter coating. They have a good beer selection and just an awesome atmosphere. We especially love stopping here after a rafting trip for some drinks and to watch our trip video! i took my family to Cherry's while on vacation at the Gorge. Honestly, the food here is overpriced hot garbage, substandard pub food. the mixed drinks were also undrinkable (a margarita didn't even resemble the flavor that most would associate with the drink. The only highlight for this restaurant is the view of the gorge. I'll say that the waitress was very pleasant and accommodating (a Croatian seasonal worker). I'd avoid this restaurant altogether, unless your only purpose is to have a nice view of the gorge. read more

After a long day in the sun, our group of 11 was starving. When we walked in there was not one server or hostess wanting to seat us, take our drink order, or give silverware. They sighed at the fact that they had to sit us and once we sat we sat for 30 minutes before someone taking our drink order. After ordering our food, we waited for 30 minutes and the "director of food and service" proceeded to tell us that they lost our order and had not yet entered it. This was a horrible experience and I would highly recommend that this place get some serious help. If you are looking for a great place to eat this is 100% NOT the place to go. food rate 5/10. service -1000%/10 we did get our food for free because they knew how bad the service was so I guess that's a perk. read more

Warm and plentiful pita bread, delicious hummus topped with blue cheese and pitted olives. The wings were also very good. We got the Hot Mama and super spicy and they were indeed very hot and tasty. The next day I ordered the peanut sauce wings and was also impressed with those. The bad - We ordered the Mediterranean, Philly Cheese steak, brisket and the Cardiac Burger. None of those four were particularly good or worth getting. The cheese steak and cardiac burger were dry, lacked taste and sort of a sloppy mess, the brisket was served cold, and the Mediterranean was just ok. The bread was was kind of bland and day old. Four people, 5 beers, 2 appetizers and 4 entrees - $80. You should eat at Pies & Pints, then come here to drink. read more

It's been a few hours since I had the chicken cesar salad and would like to say I have in fact lost 15 pounds due to it coming out of me uncontrollably. They also only have one stall in the bathroom... take this into consideration when it comes out of you uncontrollably. Maybe just don't get the salad idk. read more

Where to begin with this place... I am reluctant to give a 1 star because I know how much it can potentially hurt a business or sway people from going there. But there wasn't any aspect of this experience worth anything more than 1 star. First of all, my wife and I arrived after being on the road for quite some time and we were both hungry. If anything, that would of made my ratings better for the experience. But no, it didn't. The atmosphere was good. It's a very nice outdoor and indoor venue with plenty to look at. The restaurant is linked to the rafting business so inside we observed video of tours that happened that day. Kind of neat if that was something you did. Not relevant if you didn't raft that day though. I don't want to spend much time on this review except for the facts. So, I'll try to keep opinion out of it even though I want to express it. The buffalo chicken dip was our appetizer and it was highly rated by our waitress. She was very wrong and the dip was nothing more than sour cream or Philly cheese with overcooked pulled chicken and Frank's Red Hot. Basic. Something I could make at home.... Scratch that, I could make better from home. And the chips weren't even warm. The burger was a soybean burger. Or it tasted like something I had when I was in my High School cafeteria. I'm just going to leave it at that. The battered fries would of been good, but they were not hot or warm. Need I say more? Lastly, my wife's chicken sandwich. I don't know who decided to make that concoction of "Jerk" chicken and mango salsa, but it's definitely not. It was horrible. Once again, overcooked watered down pulled chicken with some large pieces of mango and an assortment of "salsa". The jerk seasoning was definitely just a sprinkle of something. I know jerk chicken. We've been to Jamaica more than enough to know. This was just simply not good. On top of that, we visited this restaurant when their staff was headed back to college after the covid lockdown. Our waitress just abandoned us after giving us our food for a large table next to us. It was kind of insulting when she passed us several times as I was trying to get her attention just for her to ignore us for them. I love the eating out experience. I tip well too. Especially well if the experience was worth it. The fact that we were just abandoned did not feel good. After finally getting her attention and getting our checks, we waited another 20 minutes to get it sorted out because she confused our food with the large table next to us. This was just a bad experience all around. I can't put it any other way. The 1 star was definitely earned. We plan on going back to the rafting this summer when the college kids should be home and the bar fully staffed. Maybe that will make a difference. I plan on trying this place again because I can't fathom that our experience sucked as bad as the first one. We'll see. read more

No stars, rude management and patrons. Set our group of 7 under the tv. Unbeknownst to us this is where the rafting groups go to watch videos. Which is great but not for those of us that didn't raft. Maybe put those people at the table. We were happy to move, but when we asked it was a significant emotional event. We just wanted to get out of the way, instead they turned down the tv which caused a larger issue with the dating groups and then management turned it up louder. Additionally, the wait staff had moved the table out, not our group and then the owners or managers started to push our table back under the tv. We eventually paid for our drinks and left. The drink I ordered was garbage as well. I ordered a dark and stormy with kraken rum and was charged for a captain Morgan's though I can't be sure they put any alcohol in the drink at all. In the end it was disappointing, rude and teetering on volatile. If you're not a local, a guide or a rafter I don't recommend it. read more

Took them 2 hours to give me a side salad and when it came out it was served on a ugly little coconut shell looking thing that would be a salad for a chicken. I have always enjoyed going to Chetty's Pub! We held my sister's bachelorette party at AOTG this weekend and visited Chetty's for dinner and drinks Saturday. They have changed their format to "fast casual" which means you order and pay for your food, get a number, and then they bring your food to you. It seemed a little unorganized and I'm not sure how it will hold up during peak tourist season, but the food and drinks were still delicious. I was disappointed however because with the menu change several non-meat items were taken off the menu. I was left with about two meal options so I quickly decided on the veggie tacos and they were delicious! Despite limited options, I will still return due to the location. read more

Came here with three other people for lunch as we were staying with adventures on the gorge. The place was empty - maybe 4-5 groups in the entire place with 3/4 of the tables open. The hostess informed us in the most convoluted way that essentially the kitchen is too slow and that she can't seat our party for 30 minutes until the kitchen gets their stuff together. What?!?! You are a restaurant at a resort/retreat venue ... Your only job is to serve and feed hungry guests. Later on, a group of 10 in my family tried at it again and they wouldn't even sit them because their party was too large. I could go on about how unacceptable this type of service is but I'll regress and conclude that this place needs more staff, better service, better training, and more communication between the front and back end. Good bar, great atmosphere to sit, take in the mountain air and relax. We drank and had wings. I don't want to sound like a snob, but drinking a Guinness out of a plastic cup is not great. I'm not in college--I want a pint glass. The problem is that the Rivermen/Outdoor Adventure camp is more college party than the higher end type place they are clearly trying to achieve. The buildings and window dressing all are in the nice ski lodge category. But the "don't even think about parking past here" sign is more low rent. Still, no matter where you are staying the vista makes this bar worthwhile. I'm not sure I'd eat here--there are better options down the road. read more

The view and property around the restaurant is the best thing about experiencing Chetty's. There is outdoor and indoor dining with a bar (alcoholic beverages). However, when we ordered a mule drink it was all watered down with ginger beer and no taste of the vodka. The menu is limited to appetizers, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. We ordered a bourbon BBQ smashed burger. The burger did not taste like the meat was smashed and the sauce didn't appear to be homemade. The bun tasted to be day old bread and not fresh. The french fries were tough and somewhat cold. We also ordered the nacho shredded BBQ dish with the BBQ chunks only and not shredded as the menu stated. Our friend ordered the cheesecake cannoli and he did not enjoy it at all. Our brother ordered the same dish as ours and believed it to be the same experience as us. The waiter was overly attentive and needed reminded constantly of what we requested. I wouldn't place this restaurant on your list to dine, unless you want a cold beer and to look over the hills. We were disappointed because we drove specifically to experience Chetty's food as it was advertised on Instagram. read more

Great bar at the adventures in the gorge resort. Several locals and bands most every evening. They really did a great job with this bar. Square space with a square bar thats a little off center. Tables on each side (maybe just three, but there may be a booth(es) on the last side. Large sliding doors that give Chetty's an open feel. Outdoor seating as well. Holy sandwiches! I highly suggest that you split a burger with someone else, they are that big. Plus you have some French fries to eat. The view was awesome. I sat outside on the deck and got to enjoy the semi-peacefulness of the valley. (There is a playground near by, but it wasn't terrible.) I ordered a BLT, but be forewarned, it comes as a burger.
