We definitely enjoyed our first outing of our visit from Birmingham Alabama for my daughter's 12th Birthday! Our food was absolutely amazing, fresh, & hot! Our desserts were fresh! Our order came out correct the first time around exactly how we asked for everything. We didn't have to send anything back. The manager Terry Holton was very welcoming at the door greeting us & welcoming us in. Our proud server Tabitha P was so nice! Tabitha was very funny as well as fast! She check on us constantly and that's very rare now days! The experience was nothing less than GREAT! The restaurant had amazing decor & was pretty clean!

6/11/23- Arrived at the restaurant at 5:00pm with a party of 4. Upon entry we noticed about 5-6 straw wrappers on the floor. There were two host at the stand. We were seated within 10 minutes of arrival. Walking through the restaurant to our booth, we noticed filthy floors and 3 tables that were not cleaned, just piles with dirty dishes. They were not short on staff at all so that couldn't be an excuse. The tables remained dirty until there was people that needed to be seated. The food was fine except for my fiancés steak. Once he ate through it he had to send back as it was pretty raw inside. Our server did a good job. No complaints there. Definitely the manager needs to do a better job to oversee the cleanliness of the restaurant.

We had dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse. My niece called and made a reservation the wait time was 30 to 45 minutes. We browsed a nearby Aldi while we waited. There were 12 of us, not long after leaving Aldi, we got a text that our table was ready. Longhorn was really crowded, but it didn't take long for some of our party to get their food. I had fried chicken tenders, with a salad and mashed potatoes (you can almost never go wrong with ordering chicken)Our waitress Chyanne got two of the orders mixed up, and had to get the manager. The orders that were wrong ordered steak, which is ALMOST always a problem. One steak was asked to be butterflied, well. The other order was for medium well, it was well done. Everyone had gotten their food, and my niece's food still had not been brought out. After having to ask about her food, she just asked them to make it a to go, because everyone had finished eating at that point. My food was good and so was the service

The service and everyone has been awesome!!! The best steaks we have ever had here. Compliments to the chef on 12/21/23!!! The Manager has it going on, such a nice young man.

This is our go-to steak destination in Union County! Great steaks! A cabin ambiance and wonderful staff! Bring a sweater, it's chilly here.

Even though I…read moredon't eat meat and had the ham "on the side", their Sunday brunch delivered the best "Eggs Benedict" I have ever eaten. The delicious Hollandaise Sauce kept me begging for more. The others in our group ordered the brunch meatloaf. The meat portion was huge, approximately 6" long by 4" wide by about 1 1/2" to 2" thick. It was served over a bed of mashed potatoes with a side of green beans. We shared an order of lava cake. Arriving with whipped cream & a scoop of vanilla ice cream all were greatly satisfied. The only negative is because the floors are wood, and not carpet, the acoustics are quite "echoey". Plus we arrived at the height of the Sunday brunch crowd. Therefore, this made it a challenge for our 93 year old friend with hearing aids to understand the conversation. The restaurant is a big hall with no booths. The chairs are comfortable. Our server Josh was great to make recommendations. Food was delivered hot. After eating I wandered out to a large outdoor patio. On Saturday nights there is often live music. The ladies bathroom is equipped with gorgeous duo copper sinks. The toilet booths are nostalgic "old school wooden", reminiscent of the church basement of my childhood. I look forward to going back to try their catfish meal!

Which was a bit dry but worked well with the glaze they had for it. The sweet potato casserole they had with it was delicious. We also had the artichoke dip and the mushroom dip as starters. Both needed to be served with more bread other than that no complaints. Between the two I'd recommend the mushroom one was more flavorful. The shrimp pasta was cooked well and the sauce was prepared perfectly. Addition items we had were the filet which was over cooked at first, second one was exceptional. The fish as well and a salad with chicks added on. Tithe French onion soup is also something I'd recommend. Overall a decent time but probably won't go back food could have been better, wish they had some more menu options as well.

I wanted to try their pancakes but didn't want a full stack, and our server Robin was wonderful in recommending the Sweet Start. One thing we really appreciated is that all breakfast entrees include coffee or tea, and the prices are already very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that even though we ordered specialty coffees, we could still enjoy complimentary refills of regular coffee. The restaurant has a charming and unique atmosphere, with every table looking a little different from the next. For my meal, I ordered the Sweet Start, which included one pancake, eggs, and bacon. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days. My husband ordered the Banana Nut French Toast comes with homemade whipped cream and homemade pecan butter, which also came with bacon. He added a side of eggs as well. Everything was delicious. I'm especially particular about pancakes, and I can honestly say they serve some of the best pancakes I've had. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and what stood out most was how genuinely happy all the staff seemed to be. It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely return the next time we're in the area.

The cafe is inviting although sparse. Chicky bowl had good flavor and the yellow rice really set off the flavor of the chicken. My lunch mate said it reminded her of a chicken cacciatore dish. Piggy bowl was really delicious with two different kinds of beans. The shredded pork was a nice blend of tart and crispy. Unfortunately the Cuban sammy left a lot to be desired. The bread was dry and hard, without any flavor. Yes it was "pressed " but we expected a sandwich with plenty of juicy meat and cheese hanging over the sides! Not so. Very little mayo or mustard to cut the dry bread, one pickle, and very little meat. (See photo) Three of us had the Cuban. All 3 of us agreed that this would not be something to recommend. One of my lunch mates had the schnitzel sandwich. The pork loin was breaded, dry and had no flavor. He also said he would not recommend this sammy. Overall, this would be a one and done for all of us. We are from Orlando and have some spectacular Cuban sandwich restaurants here. Lots of locals with great Cuban roots.
