Not a positive experience at Chevy 112 Service Department. Took my 2021 Silverado in because the dash message read "Service TPMS Monitor". First visit, Passenger side rear sensor bad but part not available had to be ordered. Second visit, part came in, now Driver side front sensor bad, part not available, had to be ordered. Third visit, part came in replaced on third visit. When I got in the truck to leave the front driver side had 34lbs pressure, passenger rear had 37lbs pressure, driver rear had 40lbs pressure and passenger front had 41lbs pressure!! What kind of shop that is repairing the TPMS sensor doesn't fill the tires to the same pressure. Negligence at best, ignorance for sure. I will not go back here for service ever again. My tires would have worn unevenly if I hadn't have said something. And they charged me close to $400.00. If they asked me one more time if I wanted to change my wiper blades for $85, I was going to scream!! Not happy to say the least. read more

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with the service department at Chevrolet 112. It started about 4 +/- years ago when I took my 3500hd in for brakes. Although, the price was surprising the service was quick and easy and those brakes are still good today despite my heavy use, towing and day to day driving. Compared to a friend that takes his truck to a local mechanic, he experiences high brake dust and half the life. My next experience was about a year later when I had a pretty major issue (for those who are familiar with the diesel particular filter, you know). Again, I was surprised at the cost. The part were also on back order. Bill, in the service department explained everything and I will say I probably came across, let's say annoyed. Bill countered my frustration with knowledge and empathy, giving me time to decide what i was going to do. My research led me to the fact that I had other options but cost wise, they were not ideal and would probably have led to further issue down the road. With that said I told Bill to go ahead. He was fantastic, and further helped get me any and all discounts to keep cost down. He also went way above and beyond to keep me on the road. That brings me to my most recent visit and drop off last week. I had a couple of service lights (general maintenance) that were on that I had diagnosed myself. Although, I could have done the repairs myself, I did not have the time to be bothered. Bill got me in quickly and had the truck looked at. They did not come back with unnecessary suggestions, just what I diagnosed and had the truck back to me very quickly. I consider my truck to be well cared for and I really like it. Other than the issues I listed it has been good to me considering my use. With that said, the truck always comes back as delivered. No greasy hand prints all over, interior protected with mats and just evidence of a job well done. I never met the diesel mechanic but he gets a thumbs up too. I wasn't asked to give this review, but I do think it is well over due. If I am am limited in time to do something myself, I must say coming to this dealership really reinforces the idea that that certified service is well worth it in the long run and a better quality than the alternatives. My son had an issue with the charging panel on his EV Blazer which should have been covered by warranty. I was connected to the service manager Mary who was the rudest person I have ever dealt with in service. She was rude, accusatory, and cut me off every time I tried to explain what happened. She sounded excited when she told me they weren't going to cover it under warranty and she had to refer to GM to see if they would cover it. The issue clearly should have never happened on a brand new car. She even screamed at one of her employees right in front of me and a room full of clients waiting for their cars to be completed. Very unprofessional. What made it even worse was that the employee she screamed at was Angela who is the best person I have ever dealt with in service and one of the reasons why we use this dealership. Terrible customer service in the service department, windshield wiper broke because snow got on my windshield while driving, I used the wipers like any normal person would do, the motors burned out and both Chevy 112 AND GM are claiming it's not a defect in their product. I had to call between GM and the dealer to try and get answers because they don't ever talk directly to each other, GM claims its up the dealer what's covered and the dealer says it's up to GM, one of them is lying. The story kept changing as well as to why the motors burned out, first they claimed I shoudn't have used the wiper blades (Because I guess they are too fragile and cheap?) apparently I should veer off the road and manually wipe the windshield off because of poor quality. Then the claim was that ice and snow somehow got under the protective layer that separates the motors from the outside world (Which again is not my fault and is absolutely a defect) The service manager was mostly useless, the only thing she was able to do was get the parts quicker than the originally quoted week, but there was no offer of a loaner car, and none were available when I asked. While I was doing her job trying to talk to GM all she seemed to care about was that the car was taking up space in her parking lot. Once the lease is up I will never go to this dealer or buy any GM car ever again. read more

I had "supposedly" gaskets and plugs replaced under insurance coverage a year ago and came back to service it because of a leak from what "would be" the new parts. Dealership vouched their own warranty on these parts yet denied the repair saying that isn't the problem. It was the problem. The gasket has frayed and broke. I just picked up my car from a local mechanic who showed me these gaskets and plugs and how old and rusty they look like they were never replaced in the first place yet insurance got charged for it. My mechanic's a total professional so unless we're completely (though not likely) wrong, that's fraud. read more

You cannot purchase from this dealer. I was referred by someone I trust and do business with - for that I spent $2500 more than I could have by going to a competitive Chevy dealer- Ugh. Delivery of the vehicle took multiple times and was a horrible experience. They weren't ready. They wanted me to wait hours. They were the least interested in the customer - everyone: sales people, finance, sit in manager (Sales Manager was traveling)....wouldn't wish meeting those people on anyone. Then scheduled my first service. Oil Change/Tire Rotation. Showed up on time. ZERO parking. Tight everywhere. $80,000 car and I have to park within 12" of other cars. We purchased a brand new 2023 Chevy Colorado from nesenger112 auto group DBA Chevrolet112 located in Medford, New York. The truck had recalls from GM which we were not advised of. The truck started stopping on its own while driving putting the driver and passengers in danger. We took the truck to New Rochelle Chevy because it is closest to our home. They had it for 2 days and said they could not fix it and that parts were not available and they did not know when they could be received. Then, after much begging for a current appointment with the service department we took it back to Chevrolet112 on December 4th as that is where the truck was purchased brand new. It is 2 hours from our home and we spent the day there while they claimed to have "fixed" all the recalls. Today, December 9th, the truck stopped while driving in the middle of a road. Evidently, it was not fixed and the truck is definitely a lemon. We paid $40,000 cash for this brand new truck when we purchased it brand new from NESENGER112 DBA CHEVROLET112 located in Medford, New York. We are retired and that was my husband's gift to himself 3 years ago on retirement. We are 70 years old and have purchased many cars during our lifetime. Worst "service" experience in all of the time I have been driving. Dropped my car off at 9:00 am for a scheduled oil change/inspection, told them not a rush as a courtesy, as I had a ride home, and 6.5 hours later they DID NOT EVEN TOUCH MY CAR. To make matters worse, when I called to check in at around 2:00 pm they that they were just waiting on paperwork, just to tell my husband at 3:10 pm that they hadn't even started. WHY LIE? When I had some issues with receiving accessories for a vehicle I already purchased I started contacting the dealership and various managers. After several attempts over the course of a month of calling and being transferred around to different departments because it was always somebody's else's job and ending up on a different persons voicemail each time. I started writing emails. After those went ignored as well I started writing bad reviews. On almost every bad review on various sites a "representative". would always comment "they are looking into the situation" but still no attempt to help or even contact me. After another month of then me writing dozens of expletive filled emails to various people did I finally received a response. One of my many harsh emails was forwarded to a particular manager. Within 2 short and quick emails he was able to understand my frustration, provide reasonably explanations on the delay in shipping and offer me various options and alternatives for my inconveniences. After looking under the truck I noticed they never re connected it. I brought it back they told me everything was fine. Had a positive car buying experience initially. Only problem is my temporary registration is about to expire in 4 days and I haven't received my registration or title! I called over six times and no one returns my calls!!! Finally someone got back and left me a message saying they mailed me my registration last week but it was returned to them in the mail. I returned their call immediately and left multiple messages in the upcoming days trying to verify they had my correct mailing address, but no one has called me back!! This is certainly an error on their end, as my address hasn't changed and they have every single document, including the loan and insurance documents, with my address on it. This left a very sour taste in my mouth from an experience I thought had been positive. In four days from now I won't be able to drive the car I purchased from them because of negligence on their end and lack of communication. All this could have been avoided if they would be decent enough to return my calls I'm very upset by this! Edit: it has been almost two months since purchasing a car from them and I still haven't received my title or registration. I did increase the stars though because while they may be incompetent, at least they are honest. On Saturday, March 30th, I took my truck in for an oil change. While I was waiting, Mary Barylski (service manager) came to speak to me and informed me that unfortunately one of their technicians got into an accident with my truck. Mary informed me not to worry because they would take care of everything and issuing me a loaner vehicle. She informed me that they had no pickup truck available, so they gave me Chevrolet Equinox. I do a lot of work with my pickup truck, so not having a pickup truck is a big loss for me. I was also informed I could not drive the loaner out of state because their insurance does not cover driving out of New York. On Monday, April 1, I received a phone call from Mary that my truck was taken to Genuine Collision to handle all the body work repairs. I received a call from Chris at Genuine Collision who ensured me he will take very good care of my truck and knows how upsetting it must be for me to have my truck damaged by the dealership. I asked Mary how the dealership will compensate me for all the inconvenience I am going through. I mentioned that I was thinking of upgrading my rims to new black rims and getting new tires. I suggested why not offer me new rims and tires as some sort of make good for their negligence. Each rim is $750 so it's $3,000 for 4 rims and tires would be about $1,000. Looking at about $4,000 worth of rims and tires that I inquired about, but their cost without any markup would be much less than $4,000. Mary made it sound like I was crazy for even asking for any type of compensation and she said we are fixing your truck and that was good enough. She did say she would run it by Greg Galaradi, the General Manager at Nesenger 112. She eventually came back and said Greg will not do that. I was shocked that they refused or not willing to do anything. I didn't care about the tires or rims, but felt like some sort of compensation should have been offered for all the inconvenience I was going through. I wanted to speak to Greg directly. I tried emailing/calling multiple times but he never reached back to me. He was avoiding me the entire time. I proceeded to reach out to the owners of Nesenger 112. I sent both Bruce and Heather Nesenger multiple emails to explain the situation, and as expected, have not heard back from them. On Wednesday, April 17, I finally got call that my truck was ready. I was without my truck for 18 days. Once I arrived, I wasn't willing to leave until I finally got to speak to Greg. He eventually came out to speak to me. We went into Mary's office where the 3 of us began talking. I will add that he was completely rude to me the entire time and very disrespectful. He continued to say we fixed your truck and there is nothing else we will do for you. He asked why should we do anything else for you?? I explained about all the inconvenience it has caused me and he simply did not care. I asked what if I have future issues with the truck, such as the wheels not being aligned. My concern was that with the back of the truck being hit, directly in front and behind the wheel, I may have issues later on with the alignment of the truck. I wanted to make sure they would handle any issues that may arise in the future from this accident. Both Mary and Greg stated nothing is wrong with my tires and thought I was crazy for even bringing it up. How can they be sure my wheels are OK if they haven't even driven it since the accident? Only body work was repaired, and shop was right across the street. Their answer to me was to take it to another Chevrolet dealership and have them inspect it. I will say that in the past few days that I have been driving my truck, it does feel a bit different driving and when I step on the brakes, it doesn't feel as secure as previously. So now I am being extra cautious driving, as I feel the truck is not as safe. Greg started walking away from me, and I then started getting a little loud (I never cursed or was disrespectful). I was just getting loud because I was upset at how they were treating me. I said things like this is how you treat your customers?? The dealership gets into an accident with my truck and you don't even care about giving any type of customer service?? There were people in the waiting room and they of course heard me. But I was just frustrated on how I was being talked too and disrespected and shown no customer service with a major situation that wasn't my fault. Dealership get into accident with my truck, and inconvenience me for 18 days, and think I shouldn't be compensated?? My truck has lost value because of the accident and I wasn't able to do work without my truck during those 18 days and lost time with family as I was not able to visit them because they were out of state and I was not allowed to drive the loaner car out of state. Unless you want your new car/truck to squeak when you brake and be told it's 'normal', do not purchase or lease a vehicle from them! I have never been more dissatisfied with any vehicle in my life. We leased a Traverse back in January and since we've had it our brakes have squeaked (screeched is a better way of describing it actually). They told us to ride it out for a few thousand miles and it will go away. We did and they continued to squeak. We brought it to the service center and they told us there is a 'bulletin' (just a different way of saying recall) for the front brakes. They replaced them and told us don't worry they won't squeak anymore. Well they still squeaked. And they told us the same thing, that we need to ride them out for a thousand miles for it to go away. The squeaking never went away. We brought it in again and they told us there is a 'bulletin' out for the back brakes but the squeaking was 'normal'. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NORMAL ABOUT THE SQUEAKING THESE BRAKES DO. We brought to a separate mechanic and they told us it wasn't normal as well. They refuse to replace the brake pads and correct the issue. So unless you want a brand new car or truck and be told that it's normal for it to SCREECH when you brake you shouldn't go there. If you expect a higher and more appropriate level of service I advise you go elsewhere. read more

Beware!!! 2020 Traverse brought in many times for loss of communication to transmission control code and check engine light after intermittent no start. Never fixed it other than saying remove drivewise, don't see any problems, bring it back when it happens again, bring it back when it actually doesn't start; once they held the car for about a week and said cable and connection at transmission control unit cleaned; last year they said low battery so recharged battery; more recently they said battery cold cranking amp is not sufficient so replaced battery with higher rated battery. Took it in a month ago for same issue and State Inspection. They said come back after 50-70 miles because the check engine light doesn't allow for inspection. I told them, so then fix the problem they never have fixed and do the inspection. They said drive and come back after 50-70 miles. Went back a week later after adding another 70 miles. Told me to drive and come back. Did it again after another nearly 300 miles after check engine light. They told me to drive and come back. I said no. They put me in a smaller loaner and said they will work on the traverse. It's been two weeks. They have not called me once, so I call and am placed on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time and told that the technician drove it and check engine light came on so they can't do inspection and have no idea on the status of the fix. It's been 2 weeks. Someone please help. What ever you do, based on my experience, this feels like a 70s used car lot where they bait you in and treat you well until you need to have a problem addressed. Because no one at Nesenger Auto Group Chevy 112 wants anything to do with this vehicle that I'm paying tens of thousands of dollars for. Someone please help. read more
