Beware!!! 2020 Traverse brought in many times for loss of communication to transmission control code and check engine light after intermittent no start. Never fixed it other than saying remove drivewise, don't see any problems, bring it back when it happens again, bring it back when it actually doesn't start; once they held the car for about a week and said cable and connection at transmission control unit cleaned; last year they said low battery so recharged battery; more recently they said battery cold cranking amp is not sufficient so replaced battery with higher rated battery. Took it in a month ago for same issue and State Inspection. They said come back after 50-70 miles because the check engine light doesn't allow for inspection. I told them, so then fix the problem they never have fixed and do the inspection. They said drive and come back after 50-70 miles. Went back a week later after adding another 70 miles. Told me to drive and come back. Did it again after another nearly 300 miles after check engine light. They told me to drive and come back. I said no. They put me in a smaller loaner and said they will work on the traverse. It's been two weeks. They have not called me once, so I call and am placed on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time and told that the technician drove it and check engine light came on so they can't do inspection and have no idea on the status of the fix. It's been 2 weeks. Someone please help. What ever you do, based on my experience, this feels like a 70s used car lot where they bait you in and treat you well until you need to have a problem addressed. Because no one at Nesenger Auto Group Chevy 112 wants anything to do with this vehicle that I'm paying tens of thousands of dollars for. Someone please help. read more

My car was brought in for the third time with the same transmisson issue. Apparently the technician was able to feel the issue the last time I brought it in, but this time nothing. I was told my car is operating within specs. So they never planned on fixing it. I drove off the lot and didn't make it 20 feet with the issue happening again. The service manager completely ignored me and ducted out the back before I asked to speak with her. I had requested she contact me with a game plan on fixing the problem, no call! When I pulled into the dealership for my oil change there were no service spots left so I was going to temporarily park in front of one of the service garage doors, get my 7 month old out of the car and let them know where I had parked. One of the mechanics in the garage proceeded to yell out the garage door "that's not a parking spot asshole" so I yelled back "I don't know where to park?!" And they yelled back again "Hey asshole, that's not a spot!" So I stopped unloading my stroller for my baby, got back in my car and pulled up to the service room, let a woman know I was leaving and why and left. Sometimes nothing changes. I went back to Chevy 112. I was looking for a Hyundai sonata the gentleman was very nice and I told him nothing over 20,000. I told him five times I even put my hand on the shoulder and s*** " don't come back to me with a price over 20 grand because we're going to have an issue so let's five times six times it comes back to me with a price of $20,600. I truly had an extremely unpleasant and awkward experience while looking for a car at this dealership. DO NOT work with Steve. He was impolite, short, rude, uninterested, and quite frankly seemed like he couldn't care less if I purchased a car or not. Trying to get information about the different vehicles was like pulling teeth and he acted like we were stupid for not knowing the answers to our own questions. While asking about the vehicles he had in stock, he made us seem like we should have already known that there were certain models not in stock, as if it were somehow preposterous that a car dealership would actually have cars. He didn't suggest other models that I could have been interested in either. He sat on his phone at his desk rather than showing us the vehicles in the showroom and seemed like he just wanted to get us out of there as quick as he could. It blows my mind that he had a top performer plaque on his desk because he truly showed no interest in helping us whatsoever. I walked out feeling frustrated and bewildered. My first time ever at this service department and it was my worst experience by far! I wait a week for the appointment, which that's fine I have no problem with. But I bring it in after a full conversation with a Service Advisor on the phone, everything changed after I actually dropped it off. I'm told that I was suppose to bring paperwork for my warranty but was never told this on the phone. My understanding was that I was dropping it off, would have a loaner and be good to go. Long story short, Reed Speichler was totally unprofessional and basically told me too bad and was unwilling to help me out in any way! I will never go back for service because of this experience unless there is someone more professional and that can communicate much better. A complete and total rip-off! My CPO vehicle was towed in for a bad coil that was under warranty due to it being previously replaced they broke 3 off the new wire and said they had to be replaced as well. The advisor also said all the plugs where bad which is hard to believe the vehicle ran smoothly before the coil pack went out. So after arguing and have the pitching dealer ship send the paperwork over showing all the wire had been replace two moths ago and the faulty coil pack and plugs.They still insisted I had to replace all the parts to make the vehicle run properly. $900 later the light came back on again due to them braking one of the wire. This time I didn't go back to the dealership for the $20, I went my local mechanic, thank his he honest! read more

On Sunday June 6th I went into Chevrolet 112 to get some information about leasing a new car. My lease on my Chevy Equinox was ending in the beginning of August. I wasn't sure what my next car/truck would be. My last two cars were the Chevy Equinox, and as much as I loved both of them, I wanted to look at other options. Within moments of being in the showroom, Anthony Pavone came over to me to ask me what I was looking for. I explained that I wasn't sure. He took the time to ask me a few questions, and came up with options for me. We took the Blazer for a test drive, which we liked, but I ask Anthony about the Traverse. Without any hesitation, he was explaining the features of the vehicle and asked me if I wanted to test drive one. He had already spent a decent amount of time with me, and never did he make me feel like I was wasting his time. After driving the Traverse, I knew that that would be my next car. We sat down and ran some numbers, and I was very happy with the terms of the lease. If I wanted to, I could have driven it home that day. I wanted a couple of days before picking up the car. The "no problem " attitude that Anthony possesses makes the car buying process so enjoyable. When I went to pick the car up, I was greeted by Anthony, who sat me down and went over all the features of the car again. He took me out to the car, and walked around the car a few time to ensure that it was spotless. He then brought me in to see Irving Crus, the finance manager. I have leased many cars over the years, and I have to say, I could not believe how fast and effortless Irving made the financial part of the process. This place is horrible. I bought my truck from them and upon bringing it to my mechanic for inspection before I purchased it, he informed me the automatic lift gate mechanism needed repair/replacement. My salesman was Jared and he acknowledged that the truck needed this work to be completed. Mechanic said no other major issues with the truck so I signed the contract and purchased it on the conditions that the dealership would fix the lift gate. I drove off in my new truck after a successful sale under the impression I was going to bring it back and they were going to fix it for me, as stated in my contract. Boy was I wrong. I called the salesman multiple, multiple times, left messages, never got a phone call back. I finally got in touch with him and he said he "totally forgot about it" and told me to call back tomorrow. I called back and of course he was on vacation that week. I kicked it up to the used car manager Frank. This guy was even worse. I told him what happened with the salesman and he said he was "going to personally take care of the situation" and get it fixed ASAP. Well I played the same phone game with him too. Call after call after call and promises of getting calls back regarding the status (mind you this a month after the purchase date). I never got calls back and left message upon message and repeatedly got dodged by him. I then was finally able to bring the truck in for a "visual inspection of the lift gate" (which was unnecessary since they already knew what was wrong). Used car service manager came to check out the lift gate and confirmed it would be fixed. I was instructed to call back the next day and did so to no answer so I left another message. I ACTUALLY got a call back from Frank and he said he was going to coordinate a date and time to bring it in and get fixed. Phone call upon phone call with no answers and messages left, he was on vacation (this is now 2 months after purchase date). I finally realized how scummy these people were and that the lift gate was never going to get fixed and stopped trying. I should really file a civil lawsuit against them since it was in my contract that they were going to fix it but they never did and dodged my calls for months. These people are scum and do Not care about the customer. DO NOT GO HERE! They will promise everything then screw you over. Who the hell buys a truck with a malfunctioning lift gate? That's why I made sure they put it in the purchase contract that they were going to repair t and they never came clean on their promise. Terrible experience at Chevy 112. Never going back or referring anyone to this dealership. I hope the go out of business and I wonder how many other people they screwed over. read more

I have a 2020 leased Travers, 4x in the last year 1/2 the low oil warning has come on. We took it to the dealership immediatly after each time, after the third time they decided to do an oil consumption test. they kept the car for around 6 weeks. I said can I drive the car while they wait on parts, I was told no, to risky!!! They changed our pistons and rings this past December. just this week the low engineerings oil warning came on again. My wife took the car back to the dealership. The Service Manager Mary said this is normal, you drove about 4K since we last did the oil change, these cars use oil!!! WHAT? I have had many new card and NEVER has any used oil!!! I called Chevy customer relations for them to look into this! My wife loves the car, I was going to buy it when the lease is up, but NO WAY will I buy a car the uses oil, this is a ticking time bomb waiting to happened! I have never experienced such a poorly run business. My salesman Bill Sardone took $500 over six weeks ago to order a car. Finally called me and said your car is in just fill out the credit application and pick it up. Went in two days later he then toled me your credit is not good can you get a co-signer. Get the co-signer with great credit. The next thing they want is proof of income. Bring that in and then they want more details and more paperwork from the bank. At that point I had it and ask for my deposit back. Bill was so rude. He grabbed the card out of my hand like an animal and left. Bill needs to learn respect I am 77 years old and have been buying cars for over 50 years. Never have I been treated so poorly. Left Chevrolet 112 and went to Kia. I was treated with respect and I am picking up my car on Wednesday. If you are a senior citizen or a person with less than perfect credit don't visit this dealership. I managed to get a ride get there and was told it was sold when I arrived; that it was never available. I attempted to tell the salesman, Chris, my situation: I have a child and a baby and need a car because my husband killed himself in our vehicle; and he talked over me and didn't even acknowledge anything I said. My Mini Cooper was getting up there in miles and I needed a new car. I looked at allot of cars and after careful consideration, I signed a lease for a new Chevy Cruze from 112 Chevy. Here's why... As much as I loved the Mini, maintenance on it was a bear. Frankly, I was never impressed with the service at the Mini dealership. So I walked into 112 Chevy and the salespeople were wonderful. They let me look around, sit in the cars and took the time to answer all my questions. Never once did I feel like I was a pain or was bothering them. Lamelle, Brian and Bob G. in sales are fantastic to work with. But this isn't where it ends... Their service department is second to none. Over the past 9 years, I've owned and had serviced from 112 Chevy two Trailblazers, one Equinox, one Corvette, and a Mailbu Maxx. Every time the cars are worked on the job is done right the first time. I've never had to bring any car back a second time for the same issue. Fran (the service manager) is wonderful at explaining things to me and making sure I leave there a happy customer. 112 Chevy earned my business and my respect. Brought my car in to fix a problem with my heat. It has less then 50,000 miles on it and has a broken blend door. The dealership charged me $400 for a flush and fill and that obviously didn't fix the problem. Now they want $800 to start and $140 an hour until they figure it out. The service manger is not willing to help and neither is GM. I've leased three cars from this dealership and they couldn't care less. They don't value loyalty whatsoever ev Stay clear! It's all about the money here. You as a customer and whether you're satisfied is of no concern to them. It's been almost a month and nothing has been resolved. I am very experienced in purchasing vehicles. I offer my help and assistance to friends and family. Over the last 25 years I have purchase or helped purchase over 50 new vehicles, from dealers that range from Porsche to Honda. Today we stopped at Chevrolet 112 to purchase a new Chevy Tahoe. The salesman, who was relatively new to the job did good. He was not the most knowledgeable person but we liked his demeanor. We were very agreeable accepting the price and trade in offer, without ANY argument or haggling. We went to lunch while they worked on some paperwork and came back ready to sign the deal. When we asked about a 75$ fee on the paperwork that specifically says "not DMV fee" the sales manager exploded at us. Telling us to take it or leave it, he was already giving away the car! He than yelled at us and said he did not want to do business with us anymore. We asked for a refund of the deposit (which no-one in the dealership could do, still waiting on that) we walked out and went to another Chevy dealer and bought the Tahoe there. DO NOT use this dealer, rude arrogant sales manager who looks like he's 25 years old. Why not just explain the fee? Tell us it's a company fee and you can not remove it, or offer 75$ worth or credit at service, anything but EXPLODING on customers looking to spend $50,000 at you dealer. Absolute worse dealership ever! Don't fall for their scam! Purchased a 2010 Chevy traverse with only 38,000 miles on it. Was a complete Lemon car masked by a new timing chain replacement. Within 8 months the car needed work up to 5,000 dollars! We unfortunately moved out of town shortly after the purchase and could not bring the car back to New York for the repairs. The manager offered no financial assistance and told me to take it up with Chevy headquarters which you know would do nothing. I am now in a hardship paying off the work on this lemon car that was sold. Don't fall for their tricks like we did. We did not have an extended warranty option to purchase on the vehicle. Stop lying for your awful dealership and I hope you all get exposed by the better business bureau. This is a review of the service center. I called them one week ago to schedule a quick repair for a recall on my Colorado. We scheduled an appointment for 9 am on Friday. I show up to the dealership and they tell me the recall can not be completed today because they don't have the part. Normally this would not be a problem because I understand that parts can be on back order. However, they should have called me to tell me not to come in for my appointment until the part came in. This shows a complete disregard of customer service, and it shows that they do not value their customers' time. I am a busy man and could have been doing a million other things. Instead I drove all the way out to Chevy of 112 for them to tell me I did so for no reason. What a joke. Update: a representative to this Chevy dealership reached out to me on Yelp and claimed that they would "make it up to me" yet this was a complete lie. From start to finish Chevy 112 has always treated me better than average compared to other dealerships I have work with. Starting with the sales team who are polite and fair. Have always made me a deal that was right for me. I have had the same sales person for my last two vehicle needs so there is longevity which is always a good sign that employees are treated well from within. The service department is also efficient. friendly, and prices fairly. I have only had to use them for maintenance service such as oil changes and state inspections though. Appointment setting can be difficult but, if you are flexible they are as well and do their best to accommodate. I would recommend this dealership as they are competitive to others in the area and offer a wide range of perks and deals. read more

So, in short, I paid a total of 1,280.90 in repairs and vehicle diagnostic checks for continued car trouble; and now I'm looking at a c. one-thousand dollar fee to repair this current issue. (Note: My vehicle is currently being serviced by KIA off of Bohemia; however, I'm starting to lose faith in many of the big-name automotive service centers on Long Island. After visiting this service department I have no choice but to laugh at the commercials portraying a happy family. The ladies who work at the counter are the furthest thing from friendly. After listening to their interactions with all customers while I was waiting, it's evident that the culture is horrendous. They aren't happy to work here and they don't have a "customer first" approach. I would really suggest that corporate Chevrolet sends a few mystery customers in here to gauge the level of service. I can almost guarantee the results would be poor and the lack of good customer service would be extremely noticeable. My 2012 chevy suburban ltz is having transmission issues and stopped in front of chevy 112. I brought the car in and spoke to an Angela. She took the car at 2:00pm on 07:07 and stated we have 45 cars so i am not sure when it will be looked at. I was ok with that for that specific day. I called in today 07/08/2020 to see what was going on at 10:00 am and was told car is in the bay and they are diagnosing the problem Angela will call you once we have one. At 12:20pm i called back and asked for Angela who was at lunch. And was promised a call back 30 mind later. 1 hour later i called back and was told Angela was not available and she will return the call. Angela finally called back with an attitude stating " i told you i dont know when the car will be ready so you have to wait i told her im right around the corner ill stop in. When i got there Angela smiled and stated no one told me the car was in the bay i am a liar. I told Angela i have the call recorded because i called from my work phone and all calls in and out are recorded. Angela then had an attitude and continued to argue so i told her give me my keys ill take it to a dealership service center that actually wants business and will handle my problem. The guy who sits at the front desk of the service department at Chevrolet 112 was rude to both me and my daughter on 3 separate occasions. He doesn't know how to talk to people . He should be hidden away in the back room away from customers. I think he is the service manager . My daughter's part is on back order, and it could take as long as a month( he finally admitted to me) to come in. We have brought 3 new cars here in the past 8 years. I want to lease a car for myself but idk now. I guess as long as I lease I won't have to deal with service??? idk .
