I live in California and I had purchased a car out of Utah, a sport car to be more exact. No snow was announced all day so naturally I decided to drive home. My brother and I drove as far as we could and out of no where we were stuck in the snowed. We had a rear wheel drive sports car in layers of snow, my brother and I had no snow gear no anything. With no other option we had to call a tow truck. Rick kept giving us updates on his status helped load up the car with so much ease. Most tow truck drivers would have put us any and kept doing their job. Rick decided to move us to a place away from the snow so we could continue with our trip. Do not recommend for automotive repairs. Was told someone could look at my truck after he returned from returning a uhaul (apparently their side business). 6 pm to 7:30pm I waited only to find out he left 30 mins away without anyone telling me. Guy at the desk never got off the phone or offered to help me himself even with something small like checking my fluid levels (all I needed done) Not a single person there working on cars despite them being open until 11pm. Our Tundra broke down just pass Beaver and needed assistance. Rick not only was able to tow our truck to the Chevron but had one of his people come pick us up with both our dogs. In the morning they were able to tow our vehicle to Heber and the driver was no other than the owner LB. He was a genuine and able to give us some good laughs all the way back. Rick was amazing. Our car broke down just south of Beaver in the mid-evening. He went well above and beyond the call of duty--towing us, giving us a ride back, and giving us the option to stay at a nearby hotel for the night (including having one of his mechanics take us where we would want to go) or have him fix the car that night. He had to go "rescue" some other people with car troubles off the freeway but he had our car fixed and ready to go before midnight. Rick is a great conversationalist, knows what he's doing, and customer-service centric. I will make it a point to stop by and say hello to him every time we drive through Beaver. read more

My '96 Bronco broke down on I-15 southbound about 11 miles north of Beaver, UT on November 2nd. After a quick call to USAA, they dispatched Beaver Valley Chevron's own "Rick" (owner?), who arrived with his flatbed tow truck about 45 minutes later. Before we knew it, the Bronco was loaded up quickly by Rick, and we were on our way to Cedar City Ford. Rick did a great job with the Bronco, was pleasant, courteous, and responsive. He dropped us off at CC Ford, and then took us to our hotel for the evening...even carrying in our suitcases to the lobby. All this around 5:00 PM before he had to turn around and head all the way back to SLC to pick up another car! Ugh...the life of a tow truck driver I guess. Rick and his team were amazing! We had a tire blowout on our class c motor home. Actually the second in 2 days, so our spare was not good. This team changed a tire on the interstate and we followed them to the shop where they replaced all 7! Spare included. They had it done by 8 on a Saturday night! Best gas station/mechanic experience EVER!! Had some car troubles about 10 min from Beaver and called Rick the mechanic through my AAA membership. Rick arrived to assist me and my family in a VERY timely manner. He was able to quickly asses my situation and provide immediate repairs to my vehicle for a very fair price. He tries to distract you by cleaning your windows. He tried to blame it on my gauge not working however I filled up The tank not even two hours before arriving to his gas station. so I don't know if his machines are faulty or if he has the wrong price up on the sign, long story short I did not get the gas that I paid for. As I filled and chatted, he quickly cleaned off my buggy windshield and went back to cleaning the pumps. Spotless! Not a streak nor bug left. I was tired and doing the nod thing. I asked him if I could spend a couple of hours in the huge gravel parking lot for a nap in my rv. He said heck, spend the night if you want! NICE!! It's really nice with new upgraded fixtures, higher end tile walls and floors, nice baby diaper changer and the stalls have a little shelf and hooks for your belongings. LOVE this location when it's not COVID times and love the friendly folks here, but during COVID?? Yikes! I walked in to get a few things and was shocked at the lack of masks! A whole family not wearing masks (the staff didn't mandate for them to wear masks either- nobody mentioned it), no social distancing in the rest rooms, people less than 6ft apart at the DQ line-up and the staff wearing their masks improperly (and sniffling- you've gotta cover your nose and mouth, and if you're sick stay home). It's a full service station like I haven't seen since I was a kid. They were pumping gas, cleaning windshields and taking care of any maintenance issues you might have like an old school station. My wife's motorcycle frame cracked, they got us in a U-Haul and helped get the bike on the U-Haul and even dug up some rope to tie it down. outstanding service and they have my business when I'm in town from now on! Where to begin! Traveling down I-15 South on a road trip and pull over to use the restroom at a gas station (not Chevron BV). Came back and the car wouldn't start - nothing but radio silence. AAA called Chevron Beaver Valley to pick us up. Got a call from Rick two minutes later letting us know he was on the way. We sat and waited for about a half hour and he was there. Loaded up our vehicle and we were out of there. He even dealt with the scummy rival tow company who tried to get us to use them instead. He called around to try to find us a new starter for the vehicle, and when nothing came back they took us all the way home (150 miles). Price is good for a tow company ($5 per mile) and they were extremely kind and helpful. If you are anywhere near Beaver and need a tow, this is the place to be. Can not recommend enough. read more

I travel down I-15 probably 12 times a year and I always make it a point to get gas and a snack in Beaver UT. The service I receive from this stations gas attendants is great. They always wash my windows, pump my gas while I'm inside using the restroom and grabbing a snack. I always tip the attendant $5.00 and say thanks for the help. I like the help with getting me back on the road; with clean windows. However I came out of the Chevron today tipped the gas attendant for filling up my car and told him to have a nice day. The roads where wet and my windows where really dirty, as I drove away I noticed my driver side windows and mirrors weren't wiped down at all, I had to make another stop to clean my side windows . I hope this doesn't mean that covid and the lack of customer service has changed this gem of a gas station. the world doesn't need any more Maverick gas stations. read more
