I guess I went to the station in a good day because I've had the opposite experience as all the bad reviews. The guy in the convenience store was super friendly. I needed help changing my headlight bulb and was introduced to the guy working in the repair shop. There were many cars there and he still helped me with it with a smile and a great attitude. Overcharged and very rude service when asked about the incorrect total! I stopped for gas on the way to work as usual, went inside to pay and grab some necessities. The owner charged me for merchandise that the previous customer was unable to purchase (his card was declined) and I didn't notice until I started walking out and reviewed my receipt. I walked back inside to ask him to correct it. He got flustered, started staring at his register as if he were unsure of what to do to refund me. He then proceeded to charge me for my gas again and didn't explain how he had tried to correct the charge. I questioned why he was charging me for gas again instead of refunding my initial transaction. He raised his voice, got flippant and started speaking very quickly and pointing at a receipt on the counter like I was blind. I was so shocked at the poor customer service and needed to get to the office, so I just left and decided I would take it up with my bank if I saw two charges post. Needless to say, I'll be adjusting my routines and will drive farther down the street to avoid this gas station. Overpriced gas to begin with, coupled with rude and hostile customer service, equals one customer that will never come back. Chevron - a gas station at night - Gas Stations Near Me - Campbell, California

Normally I would never think to bother reviewing a gas station, but this one bothered me enough it stuck out and cried for this. The machine asked me about Safeway discount. When I tried swiping my card for this, it gave me error messages, then wouldn't let me use any such discount, with no back' button to try to figure out what I was doing wrong. And every single button push was matched with an EXTREMELY LOUD and shrill beep. I wanted to cover my ears, but press after press, BEEEEEEP! Way to welcome your customers! The gas pump itself kept stopping prematurely, as well, so I couldn't just go clean the windows while I waited for the fill to finish. Most annoying gas station ever. read more

You always want to be careful about suspicions and allegations, so I'll just tell the narrative very simply: 1. After some maintenance (not done at this station) on my truck, I notice the engine light is on. Uh oh. 2. This Chevron is convenient to my work and has a mechanic on site, so I drop the truck and ask him to check things. 3. Mechanic, an apparently really nice guy, tells me I've got problems and need to do a smoke test to find possible leaks in the exhaust system. I think it was $50 charge for this, reasonable. 4. I take it back in a few days later, and the $100 smoke check reportedly finds smoke pouring out of my gas filler tube. Not good! Mechanic offers to order part, which will be costly. 5. Literally weeks pass without a call about the part, so I check back in. "Oh, forgot, thanks for reminding." But then weeks pass again w/o a call . . . 6. So I go to a DIFFERENT mechanic, who shuts off the engine light and tells me to drive 100 miles or so to see if it comes back on. 7. 300 miles later no light, so I go get the truck smogged at a 3rd location, and guess what -- it passes! Maybe the third location is the dodgy one, and I got a fake smog check? But my great suspicion is that the first mechanic, at the Chevron cited here, was taking me for a fool. Which, regarding engine and car repair, I largely am! Maybe you are too, so I'm writing this review. Watch for hijinks at this place. read more

Worst place ever! Horrible customer service! Had an issue at the pump and the clerk refused to help me, acted like he didn't understand my issue. My issue was that I selected mid-grade gas with my Safeway discount. Pumped stopped at less than fifty cents. I wanted him to transfer my discount to the high test gas and he refused. So rude to me. Kind service gentleman working the smog check gave my car an honest assessment and helped me save hundreds of dollars and weeks in fees

The guy who runs this station is SO RUDE! I stopped in to clean my windows. I looked for a squeegee, not finding one, walked over to another pump, found one but no tissue paper. I worked on my windows for a bit, and the owner comes out yelling at me that he has customers who were having problems getting to a pump. He was a middle-aged Indian person. I told him I was almost done, and no one was queued behind me. He says that I should "wash my car somewhere else", and kept yelling at me. Seriously, "washing my car"?? I was just cleaning my windows. So I told him I would leave. He kept on yelling at me about his 'other customers having problems.' Again, I told him I would leave. He goes on about how he 'has power' or something, I didn't understand that bit. I told him how he was out of paper in many places. Again, I said I was leaving, so I did. By that time his tirade had other customers watching. It was totally embarrassing. IF this person would have politely asked me to pull up at the pump in the front (it was empty by then), I would have done so. His ridiculous yelling was unnecessary and offensive. He should not be in a service industry. There's a Valero just up the street that will meet my gas and other auto needs just fine. read more

This is a full service gas station with a mini market and smog test location. The gas is on the expensive side, but they do offer free air and water! read more

The guy that owns this is a complete dishonest jerk. I pre-paid 45$ on my debit card. The pump did not work. He came out and refused to give me gas on another pump. "I promise you will not be charged" I was charged, it's in dispute but doesn't look good. So basically he ripped me off for $45. He's an Indian and said "we are honest people". Please don't go to this station. read more

i just went to these guys out of location convenience. what a rip-off! i was charged 90$ for a diesel smog check. this is much easier than a gas smog check. so the 90 was unwarranted and i hope this review hurts their business. read more
