Sent this email on Sunday to their website "contact us" submission but never received a response all week. Guess they just don't care. "Today 4/13/19 at 3:31pm PST I pulled up to my nearest terrible Herbst and received the absolute worse service I have had in a long time. To be fair I've had a bad car wash here before and never tried again but I figured getting snacks and gas wouldn't be so bad. I was wrong. The Woman cashier was FaceTiming someone the entire time I was in Line (about 4 people were ahead of me who she was not talking too at all she was talking to the person on FaceTime) and when I came up talking about how she may take the position and would be waiting her child's daycare to a 24 hour daycare facility since it would be a different shift. I got this all while trying to prepay for my gas. I asked if I could use part cash and part card to pay which I've never had a problem with before at other places but she told me she couldn't do that. Then I came out to use my fuel points because I had 0.10 cents off and it wasn't letting me enter my number, there wasn't an option to at all. I had entered my number before walking in and confirmed I had 0.10 cents off but it took me over 10 minutes to pay and listen to her FaceTiming so it was gone when I came out. I tried to hit call attendant but no surprise she didn't answer. My husband went in and asked her what to do and she said oh no there's no way for me to add it. And he said you can't just cancel it and redo it? And she Goes oh no you can just use it next time. Well no this was a 37 gallon tank and I wanted to use it now but she wouldn't refund our money! It was a debit card. So I had no choice and didn't get my full tank of gas as I should. This is completely unacceptable and really puts the terrible in your name. Transaction number was 6689 op I'd was 226074. It said her name is Guadalupe on the receipt but to confirm it was mid 20's woman working and we were on number 10 and paid $85. I've been coming here for years! Best detail service from any car wash like this type of place. Unless you're paying for a private Detailer coming to your house it can't be beat. I bought the top of the line unlimited monthly pass for 49.99. Joey out at the entrance is one of the best and all the guys are really great. I always request Mario on the finish side he is one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet in your life!! He goes above and beyond and makes you feel like family. Took my car in for much needed car wash and normally they do a great job, but as I was driving home I noticed they didn't even get the bird poop off the windshield. If your reading this don't take your car here. I started taking my new vehicle to this place to get washed. The last time I went here they scratched the window tint on the windshield and the drivers side door. I just bought the car and just had the work done less than one month ago! I spoke to the manager Mike and filled out an accident report and was told somebody from corporate by the name of Rebecca would call me. 10 days went by and I finally tracked down Rebecca at their corporate office and told her what happened. She said this is not how this is supposed to be handled and that she would reach out to Mike and see what was going on. Rebecca reached out to me a few days later and told me that since there seemed to be some confusion as to how to handle this that she would take care of the damages. I was told to go and get an estimate. I went back to Total Eclipse (where the windows were tinted) to get an estimate to remove and reinstall the tint they just put on 6 weeks ago and submitted it to Rebecca. Rebecca then told me she was going to mail a check for the estimate. A few days later I then get a phone call from Rebecca telling me that she cannot send a check. She went on to say that I would have to take my car to their contracted tinting company. According to her, it was Mikes position that was that he didn't know if the car came in damaged or not. He then went on to say it was our responsibility as the vehicle owners to disclose that the windows were tinted. As far as I'm concerned its no more my obligation to tell them as it is for them to ask. I was confused by these statements as this was never communicated when the initial report was filed. I was also confused as to why Rebecca said one thing and did another. We took the car to their tint shop and it took 3 trips to get it right without garbage in the tint. Finally our BMW X1 is back to as it was. Terrible Herbst you truly are terrible. We have 3 vehicles that used to come to you bi monthly. At $21 per car leaving your business twice a month you could have bought back the cost of the repair in 3 months. You have lost our business for life! read more

I don't know what happened with this car wash place. When they were cheaper, their work quality was a heck of a lot better. Now that they've raised their prices, the past couple of times I've come here, it's just starting to get crappier. I always got the middle tier (i think it is) it's called "The Sheriff" $26.00...Usually when I get into my car I can quickly scan their work but most of the time I have to leave because my time is limited due to kids & my husbands schedules...after spending $31.00 on a car wash, the outside still had spots that weren't wiped down and the inside looked like they just vacuumed my trunk mat to make it look "nice and clean". Some might think it's a "you get what you pay for" type deal but like I stated in the beginning, when their prices were lower their work quality was wayyyy better. read more

So we've loved this car wash for years and years but I was super disappointed with the job done on my car today. I got the most expensive car wash and there were finger prints on a window, there was a spot on the back mat that didn't get cleaned, and one spot on the bumper that didn't get scrubbed. My car wasn't that dirty beyond needing a good vacuuming and I figured by buying he most expensive wash, it would warrant a little extra attention. But nope. So I think I'll be shopping around for a good car wash in the future. read more

The name fits.. if you only care if your car is sort of clean (outside) then you will be fine but if you pay $20 + and expect them to really clean your car don't go here. I took the time to empty my car of all my "stuff" in hopes of a thorough cleaning, the seats weren't vacuumed, the console cup holder weren't cleaned at all, the windows were streaked, it was a half ass job at best. I was at lunch so was in a hurry (wash took 20-25 minutes) so i called later to address the issue but there is no answer on the number printed on the receipt so I call the corporate number they connected me to someone who told me the manager will call me back and they will rewash my car...no one ever called. I have been coming here for years. Mike and James manage a very good operation. The value in their car wash is the hand work done after it goes through the tunnel. It is comprable to a mini detail at Car Wash prices. Be prepared to spend up to a half an hour there because they really take their time and do a good job. Basically stole from me! I went in, paid for gas and asked if I could have quarters to use the air machine. He gave me MY change in quarters. After pumping gas I went to add air to tires and noticed a sign that said "Air/water free for customers. See Associate" I had already done that and he took my money for change. Never gave me an option to get free air and I even said "i need quarters for the air machine please". Either it's free or it's not. I know it's only 1.50 but I felt cheated. If you offer something for free don't charge if someone doesn't initially know, it looks like stealing. Not a good look Terrible's. My experience was TERRIBLES! While the quality of the work is above average, it took just over 40 minutes, at 11:30 a on a Monday, which is far too long to wait. I stopped by to put my car through the car wash and I thought they always did a good job. they vacuumed and it took them a while to get to it to dry it but I kind of figured because they were busy. I got in my car to come home and I opened up the driver side passenger door and saw that nothing in my car had been wiped down at all . my dogs had just been in it earlier in the day and they ran on the wet grass and jumped in my car and all their muddy footprints were still all over the leather seats and my rearview mirror you could tell hadnt even been cleaned or wiped down with glass cleaner. The window ledges were still covered in dust. I gave the young kid 10 dollars for a tip. He seemed really surprised as i am sure he was after he did such a crappy job on the inside of my car. The guy doing my car took so long and kept yelling at other employees to talk to. I thought maybe since it took so long it would be extra clean, but no. The guy focused on the driver side and missed so much on the entire passenger side of the car. I mostly needed a vacuum but That was done bad too. I came in on a Saturday and there was a long line of people here to get their cars cleaned. These guys work FAST and efficiently. My car was through in no time and you can watch the whole process of you want. They were very meticulous when cleaning the interior, which I didn't expect, but was very grateful for. I have been coming to this location for YEARS! the last 3 times I have been extremely upset with the service. Spots here and there but, oh well you get what you pay for. I got a new car, haven't had the inside done since I bought it, it was a slow day there, no cars in line, figured maybe I would see if they could earn back my business. I payed for the $30 package, figured I'd go all out. It was the WORST thing ever. They didn't wipe anything inside the car, NOT A THING. I am not sure they even vacuumed. But what they did do was STEAL! Talked to a manager or supervisor and he basically had nothing to say to me but I probably lost them or misplaced sunglass case elsewhere. I park in my garage at home so I checked but I am positive I had them when I came to the car wash. Magically they disappeared and all he could say was oh well. I commented on the service I paid for and it not being up to par and his response was yeah it should have been done. Not let me fix it, let me get him back over here, not a damn thing. I am not the person to complain but this is unacceptable. I really thought maybe the employee moved them when they were vacuuming or something, and maybe they did and it was an innocent mistake, and the manager did not even address it with the employees. Either way I am missing my sunglass case and he never even offered to take my number if they magically appeared there. Explain why I pay $35, more than their most expensive car wash and detail. Before I even take the car, my husband asks the guy to wipe off the black crap that wasn't cleaned off. He just stood there, because English was not his 2nd language, so my husband cleans it himself. Then getting in the car was hideous. The armorall was sporadic, if at all. What the fuck people. If I want it done correctly, I guess I need to find another company to do it. So $35 was just flushed down on this piss poor job. WTF?! Doesn't anyone or company have pride in their job performance? Asst. Manager James Steele came over and immediately said we aren't liable because we posted a sign that says so. He was very rude and extremely unprofessional.
