I usually go to a different car wash that's very close to this one (less than a block away.) I have to admit that I don't usually like taking my car to a car wash because I get anxiety about lining up my wheel and putting it in neutral. Nothing has ever happened but I still get nervous for some odd reason. I wanted to try Tommy's Express Car Wash ever since I saw it go up, but like I said, I avoid car washes. I've been driving my car more and realized I NEEDED a wash (I could hardly see through the windows at this point) and it's too hot out to do it myself, so I came over to give this place a try. I pulled up to the cashier lane (there are 3 lanes, 2 for the APP and one marked CASHIER) and was greeted very kindly and respectfully by the attendant. He was super professional but also really kind. He tried to upsell me the monthly service but I declined and he did not make me feel bad about it at all. I really appreciated this. I hate saying no but I really don't need the service for my 20 year old car. Pulling around the corner, I was delightfully surprised when I saw the belt. No maneuvering and worrying that I'm gonna accidentally floor it and destroy the whole car wash. Someone came out to guide me and let me know when to put it in neutral, she also covered my back wiper to protect it. That was super great! I've lost that bugger in a car wash before. Not fun. I chose the #3, second to last option for $14. I thought this was a quality wash. I was so surprised at how clean my car was without me having to get out and do more wiping down. Also, the dryers are POWERFUL. I know it's hot out and that helps, but my car was basically all dry after the wash. Amazing! I will absolutely come back to Tommy's exclusively, because of the belt and the high powered wash. read more

Do not go here! I went through here and it damaged my bumper very bad. It was fine when I went in I go to Car WOW and nothing has ever happened to my car but I went here for the first time and came out with my bumper hanging out. Apparently this is not uncommon. Also, the owners lied and said my bumper was already hanging off when I have pictures showing it wasn't. They told me to just go through my insurance when it was completely their fault; making my insurance go up. read more

It's like 3.75 for me. 8/10: $8 wash. It's a good wash. The equipment is new and I like the tread thing your car rides on through the wash. You don't have to deal with getting your wheel lined up with the narrow metal track. I liked the cashier too. Way better for non members. It's fast food drive through window style. Much better than using the machine that you have to open the door to reach at other washes. (Lanes with plate readers for members to self-serve.) 5/10: dry. It seems like the dryers are working really well when you're going through, but there was a lot of water left for me to try. Bring your own towels. They sell detail kits...but it's lame. $5 for one rag and some other stuff. read more

I opted for the "works" wash. It's 20 dollars and comes with a tire gloss, ceramic body wax, red hot cleanser, rainbow coat, wheel cleaning, Tommy guard, and underbody wash. Also, comes with a hand towel which I thought was great because I forgot to bring my own. Also, if you're not a member, go onto the far left lane. The other lanes are for members only. In regards to the wash, it did a decent job. The tires still looked a little dirty, so not sure what the wheel cleaning did. But everything else looked great. Also noticed small scratches on my car, which kinda sucked. The vacuums are great. They work a lot better compared to other places I have been to. In addition, they have a Matt wash for free as well which I thought was great. Overall, thought this place was great. Little more expensive compared to others but still not bad. read more

Today I went through Tommy's Express. 5 stars for the attendant, helpful, and held a genuine interest in the customer. My car came out clean and shiny. The good, the bad and the dirty made clean. First the good - Service at Tommy's Express Car Wash is appreciated. No other drive-thru car wash place that I have been to lately offers an actual cashier. And a friendly one at that who took the time to explain this place and how they work (monthly subscription plan, app, etc.) She even gave me some literature to read about the company. Also good is the wide track that is easy to line up with. Just line up your vehicle between the ballards and pull forward. Simple as that. Put you car in neutral and then you'll move quickly through the wash. Now for the bad (or not so good) - there are certain elements of a vacuum station that I am used to at another car wash place only about a block away. Like compressed air to blow off any excess water. That is missing from Tommy's Express. Also down the street you can get a microfiber cloth to do a little mlre detailed drying. And they offer that free of charge. Not Tommy's. Maybe it comes with a monthly plan but for a single wash, you'll be paying extra. Luckily I had a little towel in my car so I did not have to pay on top of the $20 I just paid for a wash. I'm cheap and don't appreciate add on fees. And finally the clean made dirty - The last time I went through a car wash was nearly 3 months ago. This is the reason I don't opt for a monthly subscription, BTW. As you can imagine, my car was looking pretty rough. Especially after a couple of recent road trips. The wash here at Tommy's Express did a perfectly adequate job at cleaning the gunk. The paint is shiney. The windows are clearer to look through. All that is A-OK. However, as I mentioned before, you move through this wash pretty quickly. Too quickly when it comes to the blow dryer. The top of my car was sufficiently dried but not the windows or sides. To be fair to Tommy's, this is a common complaint I have at most car washes like this. Maybe its my car. Maybe it is the design of the machines. It just seems to me that a slower speed would allow more time for the wind to blow that little extra water off. There are several places that I can go to get my car washed when I need it. Tommy's is now included in that growing list and a perfectly fine place to have your car washed. It has its pros and its cons. You can decide for yourself. For me, though, I am more likely to go down the street to the location that has been around for a couple of years longer. Went here for the first time to get a free complimentary car wash from a voucher code that was sent to me. Wanted to try it out before purchasing a membership. I had a very wonderful experience! The woman at the window was very friendly, helpful, professional and kind. She even gave me a towel since I didn't have any. But I didn't have to really use the towel. The car wash was amazing, cleaned everything well and dried it well too. And my truck was very dirty prior to the car wash due to the rain, dirt/mud, and bird poop on it. I was looking for a car wash that wouldn't potentially damage my rims because I got them powder coated so I didn't want them to get scratched /chipped and most express car have it where you put your left side tires in the conveyor belt and it moves your car through but this place doesn't! They also have microfiber towels (that they don't charge you for) to dry it completely! I did pay the extra $5 for the interior cleaning kit and I have leather seats and there was no residue like some interior wipes & the glass cleaner came with dry towels so it left no streaks. You can tell the place is well kept . Probably the best express car wash I've been to in Las Vegas & it's not close to where I live but I'd make the drive to go here . NEW LOCATION!!! Located at Sunset and Whitney ranch. This place just recently opened 12/2023. I signed up for their 30 days free wash so I had to check this one out. Everything is similar to their sister location on Nellis and Vegas Valley. Drive up to the conveyer belt and follow the instructions. Very simple. Very fast wash. So far so good. Just wish they gave out free car fresheners like the Luv car wash does up the street from them. Hint hint ;) lol. Anyway. My fave part of this car wash is the mat wash. Easy to use. And they come out really clean. Overall. It's a nice car wash. Plenty of vacuums to use. Car comes out clean just to get dirty in minutes from this desert wind. Lol. read more

I have been to Tommy's Express Car Wash on several occasions and have always been greeted with a courteous individual at the window. Yesterday I decided to go with their monthly plan since my car gets dirty easily here in Vegas with all the dust. Tommy's Car Wash does a MUCH BETTER job at cleaning and drying my car than the pervious car washes. I would like to get my truck washed at a monthly rate also, but you have to have at least two vehicles registered at a monthly rate before you get a discount on the third one. I don't drive my truck often enough to justify the fee. I am retired military so I get a discount for that. My $20.00 car wash is $18.00. I will continue to use them from now on. Tried Luvs monthly pass and that car wash missed many areas not good. Now on a monthly with Tommy's and it's not much better. Both these car washes are only good to remove dust only. The vacuums are excellent however I want a washed truck not a partially washed truck that I have to do over. The car wash does great on the front hood windshield and roof. The sides above the trim line get washed below the trim line where most of the dirt is gets missed and is pretty bad even after back to back washes still looks dirty. To correct this issue someone needs to quickly wash these areas with a soft cloth or those spinning cleaning pads needs to be closer to the vehicle body to remove the dirt especially on days when the vehicle has been driving in the rain. The blowers to remove excess water off the vehicle work the same way. All the water blows off except the sides from the trim line down totally wet. Not bashing just my opinion on what my results are on my vehicle. I'm better off just washing my vehicle my self at a self serve wash. read more

On top of not cleaning it they want $5 for an air freshener, window cleaner and a cloth to wipe the remaining dirt off of the car! Worthless cheap car wash don't use this place. I took my car here yesterday to get a wash for one it left my black dodge charger with water stains everywhere not a good clean and it blew off my $300 window louver and cracked it in 6 different places it didn't just blow it off but destroyed it. They have the audacity to say there not replace it I've been to plenty of washes and never had this happen . You guys are cheap and barely opened not that long ago and having problems im not the first person that posted about your wash causing issues. Don't take your nice cars here cause if it gets messed up they say there not responsible.. like you can see in the other comments there's apparently a sign somewhere at the entrance that's off to the side somewhere there employees don't warn you cause they don't know nothing was my first time and my last don't come to this cheap wash.
