They've let my tank run to empty on more than one occasion and it's because they cancel service calls without proper notification. The cherry on top in this last instance is that we ran out of gas and they came out in two days time to refill it. Then they shut the gas off to the house and left a tag claiming nobody was home when four people were here. The delivery drivers are lazy and completely useless. They cancel appointments if there's a mud puddle in their way or a gravel driveway looks a little too daunting for them. When we lived in Calaveras County, we had our propane service hike through 4 foot snow drifts if they needed to get us a refill because they know how important customer service services when we rely on propane. I'll be completely going to a different propane provider from now on. As an add-on to this review, I just contacted another propane supplier in town called superior plus who quoted me a price of $1.73 a gallon compared to Ferrell's regular $2.50 a gallon plus. I can't believe I've been overpaying for a bad customer service. When the office just forced the delivery driver to turn around and come back to turn back on my gas and relight the pilots, his attitude was complete trash too no recognition or apology that he left us in a lurch.

I spoke to a couple people about getting an urgent fill and was told it wasnt possible until 5 days later because of the holiday weekend. I tried calling the local branch and got in touch with an angel named Hannah at the Nevada City location. Hannah was so considerate and listened to my situation and said she would do what she could to try and help. An hour later she called me back and told me she was able to get me a delivery the same day! Service like this is not common these days. Hannah was professional, courteous, caring and Ferrellgas is lucky to have an employee like her. I am so thankful for Hannah and Ferrellgas for squeezing me onto their busy schedule over a busy holiday weekend. Thank you!! I really hope Ferrellgas understands that keeping employees like Hannah happy, means keeping your customers happy (because of her exceptional service) and keeps your customers loyal!

So not only did the refund that we were going to put in the gas tank after the shampooer wasn't working get shorted then they tried to short us on the gas as well.

Since most of you think that they should be grateful for your business you always have an option to go elsewhere. Search on "cheap gas" and you'll see that ampm isn't cheap at all. Another suggestion is don't fill up when the tanker is dropping off a new load. You're guaranteed to get air in your tank. Mixing different gases will always contaminate your gas lines. Use your head and don't be so anxious to criticize!

I thought maybe my Catalytic Converter was dirty so I used a Cat Cleaner, didn't do anything for the smell. Then a friend on Facebook made a post about getting bad(old) gas here and multiple people commented they were having the same problem and had all filled up here(all local people).
